It is a place on the beach, aesthetically very beautiful, full of tourists. The security agents throw stones at the stray dogs that live on the beach, when they pass through that area, and scare them, mistreat them. Unfortunately, they are watching the dogs all day and constantly commit these acts that leave much to be desired, therefore, if you are a person who has a minimum of respect for other living beings, I do not recommend this place or have bad luck to observe this pitiful spectacle, constantly. I have seen several local security workers behave this way with animals on a few occasions. It is embarrassing and says a lot about the values ​​of the place, which curiously are the opposite of what it preaches about pleasure, relaxation and well-being, the double face. I hope that many people are aware of this situation and rethink their stay or visit this place.

Probably would not return to this hotel. When checking in, front desk staff was not friendly at all. (This was a common theme with most of the staff except one man who helped us try to access the internet) The internet barley worked. You could sometimes get online but not very often. The first night we asked for an extra blanket because the bed didn’t have one on it, only a sheet. When they came to bring the blanket, the man literally knocked on the door and then walked into the room with no warning. I’m not sure what is typical but I’ve never ever had a staff member just walk into my room without asking. Especially at night. That made me very uncomfortable and on edge that they could just walk in at any moment, because our door was locked when they walked in. As for the food, I was quite unimpressed. The dinner buffet has very little selection and the lunch was the exact same everyday. Didn’t even bother going for breakfast based on our other experience. The rooms, were quite old and outdated. The water pressure was not great. The room had many mosquitos in it when we first arrived. The second morning we were there, there were fireworks constantly going off in the town behind the hotel. No sleeping in at all on your vacation. Overall, we did not enjoy our experience there. Over priced for the service we received and the hotel was very outdated. Beach was a nice place to swim but other than that, not much I lived about this place.

Stayed 2 nights. The bad reviews are partly right. Rooms a little outdated. Service could be better, had to wait 20 minutes to be told they have no more Calsberg and another 15 to be brought a Lion beer. Other than that the location and pool is great. Food is decent.

DO NOT STAY HERE Our first (and only) night my backpack was stolen with all my camera equipment and passport while my brother and I were sleeping in the room. We were lucky neither of us were hurt. Our family and one other were the only ones staying at this hotel and we came in the middle of the night so we suspect it was an inside person who had planned this. If you value your personal items and safety I would highly highly not recommend staying here at all.

Location is amazing, good view , easeof access to beach. This is my 3rd & probably last visit here. We paid for the half board meal plan. The hotel still charged us for our meal & the manager had no explanation for it. The night duty front office guy mahesh charged us for our complimentary room water without presenting any bills. Breakfast buffet looked really sad & so did the dinner. Tropical fresh fruits tasted really good though. The hotel is surrounded with coconut tree but coconut water was not available. Room is nice but cleaning is below par. Would rate 3/5 for room cleaning. On our second night, room was cleaned pretty well with some bed decor aswell.

I was staying at their sister hotel just along the beach. I didn’t take advantage of the fact I could use their beach facilities for free, but I did visit their beach bar for a drink just before sunset. The guys I met at the bar initially were super friendly, and while I was looking at the menu, they told me about the baby turtles being released just along the beach. I went to watch the baby turtles, then returned to the bar. They took my order, I grabbed a table, and my drink turned up after 5 minutes or so. Swiftly followed by the bill. Now I completely understand that they don’t know me, and if I was that way inclined, I might make a dash for it without paying for my drink, and to be fair their behaviour is probably down to that happening in the past. But I would much rather pay at the time of ordering, so I can then relax and enjoy my drink rather than being treated like I’m on Crimewatch! Because I felt so uncomfortable I paid my bill and waited for my change. Then I waited some more… Eventually after 20 minutes or so I asked another bartender where my change was. It eventually turned up after another 5 minutes. I enjoyed my drink, and the setting on the beach. But the service and way I was treated (not including the bar staff I first met) was pretty bad. Needless to say I did not return.

Rating the beach front walk-in experience, which you can buy for 1,000Rs a head. This will get you a beach towel with access to the pool, sunbeds, toilet and bar menu service. This would be such a great place with its perfect location next to the beach and pool, shady palm and coconut trees. Sunbeds are great, however the service and limited availability drinks are a let down. Waiters could do with some training and it would really help to setup a proper bar next to the pool (currently they don't carry cash for your change, you have to wait a lot to get your order from the 2nd level bar, some try to rip you off (hiding some off your change until you call them out, while another forgets the 2nd coffee ordered..). This kind of behaviour may ruin your business in no time. A smile would also go a long way. Kudos to the beach bar guy who saved the day though. For now.

I went there for a couple hours and rented the sunbathing chairs. I ordered a beef burger for lunch after confirming twice if they had halal food and they put bacon in my burger. The manager didnt even give a convincing apology and the pool supervisor couldnt stop smiling and trying to minimize the issue like it was no big deal. Wanted to punch him in the face. And the waiter was barely reprimanded and kept continuing his work like it was no issue. Didnt even comp the rent on the chairs. One star. Never again.

If you love the beach, then this hotel is perfect for you. I loved the location, right on the beach. Sounds of the waves crashing. Simply peaceful. No other sound. Friendly staff. Fresh fruit for breakfast. Fresh salad for dinner. Quality and quantity. I wished I could have stayed longer...

Been here a fair few times. The man tending to everyone and getting towels etc is lovely. The food in the resturant is good but the last time I was there I ordered a sandwich at poolside and it took an hour and a half and several inquiries to arrive so I would advise eating upstairs. Spicy calimari was great. They also need to stop kids running around the pool before somebody dies, it is very stressful

Had dinner at this club and the food was very nice. Tried the tomato soup, grilled fish platter, and vegetables sandwich with fresh juices. Nice view and the place looks clean. More reviews @myra.recommends

Very good hotel. Loved the energetic ambience. Most rooms are sea facing. It is on main Mirissa Beach with direct access to it. The atmosphere in the whole beach area is very lively whole day & in the evenings as well. So it's definitely the best location to be in, in Mirissa. The rooms are spacious & have pleasant interiors. Their restaurant & the beach-side bar is also good.

It all started when the staff at the reception deceived us. Will indicate a cost of $140 per night. We checked the booking price and this man said that he agreed to $100, he did a favor🙁 His moment was disgusting. The staff here makes no attempt to retain customers; they roll their eyes at requests. We stayed for 2 days to relax by the pool. But living here wasn’t worth it, it was better to just come here and that’s it. The rooms themselves are spacious, there is a closet and plenty of storage space. There was a bad drain in the shower and everything was overflowing. The floors in the room are poorly cleaned, there is sand in the corners. Breakfasts and dinners are normal. I was also struck by the fact that there is a charge for water in the room, I pay quite a lot for my stay and they also ask me for 400 rupees for one bottle. I will not return to this hotel again and will not recommend it. the team needs to work on the service.

Beach front hotel and most of the rooms are having sea view. Location: Beautiful, right in front of the beach. Rooms: clean and spacious Staff: friendly and attentive Food: Dinner buffet has to be improved, no much choices. Even dinner buns not served. No matching dishes on their menu on that day. They do not serve water and you need to buy bottled water. Breakfast was ok compared to the dinner but very limited items. Both buffets are not worth for money. Dinner/ breakfast was served in the restaurant in the second floor which has very dull vibe and not even had soft music. Parking: limited parking

The location is just amazing, and it is worth to be here! That said, a more fair and internationally accepted rate could be 3-stars. Maintenance needs to be compreted to many areas, service is done by nice people (excpet front desk) but sometimes slow and the buffet is fine to feed yourself but not to enjoy. The pool is nice, the refreshed rooms cozy and the Spa good and very affordable, finally I would be back if they complete the needed refresh.

The hotel was very dirty and in some of the rooms we stayed in, it still felt dirty due to the cleaning or lack of it! I'm never gonna stay in such a [gross] and disgusting place again. Rooms smell dusty. Poor quality of work. Staffs was rude specially the receptionist they were like the owned the hotel. Kumari was a Excellent staff. pool smells like urine. We waited more than 45 minutes for our food we ordered.

Seafront resort that provides easy access to beach. Very spacious and clean rooms and bathrooms. Staffs were very helpful and polite and throughout at our service. Food were splendid and good amount of options for buffet and ala carte. Very clean pool with kids pool as well. We very well enjoyed our 2 days of stay. We had an issue with our first room and the staffs were very fast enough to address the issue and change to a better room for us.

What a wonderful hotel! 10/10 location, kind staff, amazing pool overlooking the beach. You can’t go wrong here :)

So conveniently close to the beach. Beautiful place. Helpful and friendly staff. I went to the ayurvedic center to have massage everyday 😁 Very good male masseur. Cheap for the quality of the message. I had an interesting doctor appointment.

Actually Speaking I don’t want to give review or Ratings on this Hotel. I strongly don’t recommend this hotel. It is mentioned as 4 start, Not sure why it is rated with 4 Start, It is not even worth for 0.1 star. Below are the reasons 1. The Guy who was receptionist, He don’t t know how to behave with Guests. And he is the Manager. 2. Air conditioner water was getting leaked 3. No TV connection 4. No Power socket to connect out gagets(When we asked same to management they showed power socket where connected bed lamp to use) 5. Buffet menu can be improved. 6. None of the Hotel members responded properly to our query 7. WIFI is very slow When we told this details as feedback to MD. He replied “If not interested kindly vacate” And he has not even apologised. I was in Srilanka for 10 Days this was the hotel ever I faced in Srilanka. I stayed 1 Night and shared with 178$ and it is totally waste I strongly recommend not to stay in this hotel

I had a terrible experience with the staff. The staff lied to us when making reservations over the phone in order to secure business. This was extremely disappointing, as it ruined our planned outing with a group of families and left us with a negative impression of the local hotel industry. I recommend caution when making reservations, both locals & foreigners, because could lead to create negative impression on our hospitality sector among foreigners as well, as we discovered that the hotel management can manipulate customer benefits during your stay as they see fit.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location everything else is nonsense. We were charged 85$ for a night with breakfast. Restaurant staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional. We waited very long to get even a cup of tea.. Afterwards we got some cold disgusting sausages most probably from the yesterday before.. no napkins and dry bread.. The rooms are also not up to date.. Our room was full with ants.. we had reservation for 5 nights we cancelled on the second day… The worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

Good hotel, nice rooms with high ceilings. The hotel has a good restaurant with delicious food. Saw monkeys around the hotel. Wonderful dog lives in the hotel, it looks like a soft toy.

The review relates exceptionally to the service and staff. So, when I was swimming in the pool one guard with his eyebrows frown rudely asked me if I live in their hotel. IMHO, it was unappropriate. The second nuance. It was about 10 am, and about 7-8 people in the swimming pool and that guy who was supposed to clean it appeared from nowhere and started doing his job! With this long metal stick catching leaves in the water while people were there! Who cleans the pool when there are people there?! So, that guy injured by toes badly and now it feels bad. Never said 'sorry' or anything. No considerations of guests at all. Put 3 starts only for other staff people who are always glad to see you and help you.

We stayed a few weeks ago at the end of our holiday with a mix of joy and frustration. The location is nice, but the mandatory food plan is unappealing. The breakfast buffet was sad, and we weren't provided with a takeaway breakfast we requested when we went early morning whale watching. You are required to purchase half board (breakfast and dinner), so it's a shame because there are a lot of other nice restaurants in the area.

Went there for some quick swim and paid 1000rp for two towels and satying in. Then some lunch and left. It was good except toilet for visitors very dirty

Every little thing about this hotel was just perfect!The room,the pool,the beach,the staff,the food,the location.We stayed 5 days and this was was the highlight of our 2 week holiday in Sri Lanka. Special thanks to the man in reception morning shift😉

We were staying at a sister hotel and were given access. Looked pretty swanky. The people I was with ordered coffee and were very pleased. One ordered Italian coffee and claimed that the Italians couldn't do any better. I just enjoyed the view and the chance to dip my feet in the Indian Ocean.

DONT STAY HERE!! This is not a 3 star hotel, no idea how they got it certified as 3 star! The ac wasn’t working for 3 hours, then there was a powercut for 2 hours! The bathroom was wet and was about to slip and fall on it! The door lock was broken and the knob came off with my hand so we were locked out and had to wait for about an hour outside the room until they fixed it! There are street dogs roaming around freely and licking on your food! On top of all, the food was the worst, I highly recommend not staying here at all! Save yourself
