Great trip and even got a free trip! I made the reservation for Geeths boat via Whatsapp. Geeth always answered very quickly. Luckily he sent me a tuktuk to pick me up at my hotel so I did not have any troubles finding his spot at Mirissa harbor! I really liked his boat, it was a really new and big with a lot of space to move. The crew was very friendly, helpful and explained all the guests questions. I really enjoyed this trip even though we only saw dolphins at this first trip but no whales. But Geeth offered me a free trip the next day and eventually I got to see whales. It was an incredible experience for me and worth the money since I personally think that I wont have the opportunity to observe whales often. I can fully recommend this company to go for whalewatching.

Geeth was a great guide who did his best to make sure you saw a lot of whales. He has good experience and is very knowledgeable in regards to whales. We left the harbor about 7am and we came in at about 10:30am. It was a 3.5hr tour. On the tour wr got tea and a plate of breakfast. It certainly was a great way to start the tour. It is 6,500$/per person. Well worth your money. A definite must if you are in mirissa.

Food was very simple and there was no coffee or anything, you are on a filled boat with 50+ people. We didn’t saw any whales, we did saw some small dolphins. Very expensive for what you get, even when you do see whales.

So, they said the trip takes about 3 hours. Eventually the trip took 7 hours. We saw lots of dolphins and a few island whales. The staff was friendly and the snacks and breakfast was nice. But 7 hours is really way to long.

It was such a brilliant experience for us because today we went for whale watching company call whale watching with geeth and we saw so many dolphins and two killer whales.thank you so much for the wonderful day.good luck

Horrible experience . My children has not come out of that rough sea experience , they took me and my family to the rough sea including my 6 yrs old child , not one time they said it’s not suitable for small kids or people who have sea sickness issue or the sea is very rough today it’s going to be very bumpy ride , all they asked is 70 $ per person .They put our life in a danger by taking us in such a rough sea , we were not even having life jackets . We are leaving Sri Lanka after a week with a very a memory of 4.5 hrs in sea which will bring shivers to us throughout our life .

I’ll start with - I own a tour company in Barcelona. So. I have seen many a good tour, and also many a terrible tour, in my time. Full disclosure, we didn’t see any whales. Do I believe you’re “98% certain to see one” - no. But I think to believe that you are, is not to understand percentages or nature. The reality is, the tours not about whether you see a whale or not. I’m sure that most of the time you’ll see a whale, but sometimes you won’t. That’s just nature. Like any safari What’s far more important is the trip itself. That is the only thing the company can control after all. We were incredibly well looked after on the boat. We were given snacks, fruit and water. Most importantly, everything was incredibly safe. And the guides looked after anyone who was seasick with great care. My advice is to book it! You’re not certain to see a whale, but nor are you certain of anything. Enjoy the trip for what it is on that day, and have a lovely morning on the water seeing as much marine wildlife as possible Thank you to Geeth and the whole team

We had a great smooth experience to see magnificent whales. We saw many dolphins too. Clean huge boat with great caring staff who care to ensure visitors have great experience.

We really enjoyed ourselves on this trip. Took about 5 hours, we saw dolphins and eventually blue whales. It was amazing. Highly recommend it. The boat was more well behaved than many of the others, especially the speed boats. There were people who paid quite a bit less for the trip than we did, so it's worth negotiating.

Geeth is an amazing person..took care of everyone on the 🚢 and specially us with infant..also provided free pickup and drop as welll..amazing captain

Don‘t do it if you respect the nature. We were 5 hours on the boat and saw only one whale chased by 10 other boats at the same time. I don‘t see how this whale watching is eco-friendly in any way. Geeth and the crew was nice.

It was very beautiful and we got morning coffee and breakfast and they sent us a tuk tuk to pick us up from the hotel and we saw dolphins and whales and enjoyed the beautiful trip and the staff was very friendly 😊

Wow, we finally say bluewhales, fin whales, Delphine and other sea creatures like mating turtles! Such a nice trip with Geeth and his crew. He is really a nice guy and funny too. Dont miss out on that chance to find the whales. The rate is about 50 $, which includes breakfast and about 20 bucks for wildlife taxes. Best trip ever!

Just to let you all know that we didn't see any whales. However it was a fantastic tour and we really enjoyed it. We had very good weather all throughout the tour and the sea was very calm. Saw dolphins and sea turtles. The crew was very friendly and explained what to expect during the tour at the beginning. Breakfast and the snacks were good. We were on the sea for 5 hours and the crew tried hard to find the whales. Later we came to know that the whales have moved out of the area temporarily as none of the boats have seen them for four days. Love the on board music entertainment by one of the crews.

We sadly didn’t see any whales on our trip, but saw a TON of dolphins. The crew was very well prepared and explained stuff well. The tour started right on time. The breakfast and snacks were simple but enough. Worth the cost.

The owner is a great committed man. It was a great trip. In November last will be better for this trip. Before November it will be horrible for sea sickness

I and my friends went on this tour today and we had to get up super early to go out by 7 am but was totally worth it. The captain and the crew are so friendly specially geeth , knowledgeable and always wanting to make sure you have the best experience. We saw dolphins very quickly followed by some turtles but no whales. However the captain persisted and kept trying and I am so glad he did as we got up very close to a beautiful blue whale. Great day out !

Such a amazing experience in my life. There is so many whale watching services around the Mirissa. But this is the correct place. Cleaner than other boats. Safer than other. Also the owner and all crew members are very friendly and hard to give their best to customers. Choose whale watching club without considering the price. It's totally worthy. We saw lot's of dolphins and one big blue whale closely server times. Also there providing foods during whale watching. Also Team members are Sharing so much knowledge about whale's and dolphins.
