Amazing property...right off the weligama beach...stunning views of the sunrise and sunset. There is a nice surfing club next to the hotel, which can keep the children occupied. Terrific hospitality of the staff , especially Shri Manoj , who handled all our needs to the finest detail. The rooms are very spacious for a family of two adults and two children! The suites on the 3rd floor were massive...biggest we have ever stayed in! Loved our week long stay and we will surely get back there soon!

22 Weligambay is situated in a serene location that is also conveniently close to everything. Just a few meters from the beach, it's an ideal destination for a surfing vacation. Moreover, it stands out as one of the finest spots to witness breathtaking sunsets and panoramic views of Weligambay and the Indian Ocean. During our stay in the Ocean Suite, the experience was akin to being at home, characterized by elegance, spaciousness, and comfortable rooms. The amenities provided were excellent. The support and friendliness of Mr. Manoj and the staff were remarkable. The pool, crystal clear and well-maintained, added to the overall appeal. I highly recommend 22 Weligambay for anyone seeking a relaxing day at the beach, and personally, I look forward to returning.

Only steps from the beach, this hotel is beautiful, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to the gorgeous Ocean Suite, with its stunning view over Weligama Beach. Although the set menu (included) is quite limited, the ala carte menu is tasty, and reasonably priced. We lived our time here, and would come back in a snap!

We stayed one night in the ocean suite at 22weligambay and everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good, Rooms itself were very clean, well equipped and comfortable. The suite featured large balcony with a picturesque seaside view, and the added luxury of a jacuzzi . The beach is sandy and it is so easy to access, it is just outside the hotel and apart from all those there is lovey pool too.. It's where the Sun, Sand, Sea and Surf conspire to give you the perfect get-away. Thanks for a fantastic stay and kids were very happy too.. Looking forward to returning soon. 😍

First the good. The chef is amazing. Tell him what fresh seafood you want and he will find it and prepare it. We had massive prawns and crab curry. The hotel is on a nice beach and the pool is great. There are lots of buts though. The breakfast was fresh fruit and flies. Disgusting. Room was adequate but we had to ask for it to be cleaned and sachets refilled. The set dinner menu should be skipped at all costs. In fact if you don't get a chef cooked meal, go to the Relax resort next door. They have a great menu. The hotel is completely isolated so no going out at night etc. Just a kilometre down the road there is a strip of hotels, pubs and restaurants. I would rather go there

This place is beautiful. Beds comfy, view of the ocean from your room and pool. It is located between Mirssa and the busier part of town. It is a nice peaceful area. But close to everything.

Don't have any doubts and book this hotel right away! We have been to 30 countries so far and stayed at tons of hotels, but we can surely say that this hotel by far is the best one. We have never been so warmly welcomed, service is exceptional, it really felt like we were home. The hotel itself has an unique design. The room service was twice a day, where else you can find it? The rooms were spotless, with a sweet smell. We couldn't stop looking at the ocean and pool view from our room. The breakfast was yummy, fresh juice and fruits as well as vegetarian options were nice to have. The hotel is located in the middle of Mirissa and Weligama and we liked that. Because we were close to both cities. They also have surfing lessons - those guys were amazing! They taught as how to surf in one hour. It was an amazing experience. Thanks a lot to the team and management for such unforgettable experience. We will for sure stay with them many times in future!

Fantastic hotel directly on the beach with a nice sized pool overlooking the beach. My spacious room faced the beach with excellent air conditioning and a balcony to watch the sun go down. The food in the restaurant was very good. The staff went out of their way to make me requested Sri Lanken dishes and the western food was also good. They accommodated me as a vegetarian. The bed was comfortable and I would highly recommend this hotel. There is a surf school in front on the beach. I hope to stay here again!

Beautiful place. We are so happy that we chose this hotel for our surfing vacation! We really felt like home, the location is good, we had a nice beach, the staff were so helpful and nice people, the room was big and he had an ocean view, the hotel is very clean and breakfast was very good!! I’ll definitely go back thank you for hosting us.

Overall, We had a great experience at Twenty-Two Weligambay. Staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and a perfect place for vacation. They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Every staff member we encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help. Definitely a must do if you are looking for a good time.

Nice hotel located directly at the beach next to a good surfing school. Had many rooms with ocean view before but this view was incredible. Also, the room was the cleanest we had during our Sri Lanka road-trip (even no mold in the bathroom - which we found is quite rare). Even though the hotel was fully booked they managed to give us another room to stay after check-out time. Would definitely come back.

This place is perfect for anyone who wants the full Weligama experience (without the Waligma noise😋). Manoj, the manager of the hotel, really takes care of every guest on a personal level and the rest of the staff is delightful and helpful. Tips: You can easily tack surfing lessons in here If you can, don't give up the room with the ocean view.

Excellent services provided by the hotel. The room quality, delicious meals, the pool which was crystal clear and all other services are provided at their best! The hotel staff and management was very friendly. This is one of the best places for beach stay at Waligama!

Had a memorable stay in late October. Staff is friendly, caring & very attentive. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and have a spectacular view of the ocean front. Food served is delicious. Impeccable customer service. Definitely a place to revisit.

Excellent service by the staff at twenty two weligama bay! Chef Samantha’s food was too good!! The service all around was superb. Big shout out to Manoj, Kaushal and piyumi for accommodating all our needs. The junior suite was spacious and very comfortable. 10/0 for the beach as well. Nice small hotel in weligama basically accommodating surfers. We stayed at the Ceylon and junior suites. Very clean, spacious and good rooms.. staff is friendly. Only negative thing is that the food is a little overpriced. BnB is worth!!
