As far as railway stations go it was okay. Not really anything worth mentioning.

Every trains stop in this station. 85 Km up to Colombo fort and 30 Km down to Galle.

Its a nice rail station located near to ambalangoda bus station.

Not clean enough for people, I tried to use the washrooms and they are temporarily closed. Even at the water tap sink also garbages are filled. Surrounding looks to be clean but full of grasses and unused railway tracks are filled with dirt and grasses. There are plenty of workers to do those, but they are just hanging there even they see all these. Stairs to the 2nd platform is closed, even if there would be any emergency for a person, no one can move there. I am really disappointed about the ambalangoda railway station. 👎
