After one hour sitting on the beach under the tree, a guy from the bar nearby comes asking what we want to order. We didn't want anything, so he started shouting that we need to go away (the same to other couple laying few meters away from us), because it's his private property ("rented from government") and he pretended that he urgently needs to clean this space waving a big rake around hour bodies. I don't recommend supporting such behaviour by buying something from the bar (the one on the right side of the beach while facing the ocean) or renting snorkeling stuff from them.

The road from Unawatuna passes thru the Jungles and looks a little wild ending with this small beach. Good place for swimming and snorkeling , even when the ocean was rough, there were no waves.

It's a beach worth visiting. It has a beautiful view of the natural sea. There are also bars nearby that sell coconut water. The surrounding environment is very nice and quiet. Overall, it's good.

The tremendous natural environment is suitable for surfing. Don't misguide this with Galle Unawatuna (Rumassala) jungle beach. It is a different place, and you have more than 40 km to reach there from here. You can quickly get to this jungle beach (Weligama) by vehicle, but the road is narrow for long busesse.
