This is newly established local food outlet which empowering rural women. This project initiated by Department of Agriculture in 2015 and now there are many outlets across the country. These places promotes healthy and local promotions to the customer. This is a open kitchen operates 7.00 am to 5.00 pm all staff are women from the area. They only serve only vegetarian options expect egg hoppers. I don't know why they made that decision to stick to veg options. However in my opinion these female are not doing what they are experienced or they don't have proper training. for example hoppers are less in quality, most of the foods are not to their original recipe or taste. The concept is good but they need to improve more. If the quality not improved this will not last any long or loose customer and may end up with a loss.

Even though few outlets were established, the layout and the atmosphere were good. The taste of the foods, freshness and the quality of the ingredients were great. The staffs were friendly and always willing help. Convenient access and massive parking area was available. Thoroughly recommended.

Good place to have vegan food. Most of the items are authentic Sri Lankan food and tastes good. I've visited Ganemulla outlet (right in front of the railway station) and Ganemulla-Kadawatha road outlet (Kaluwala junction). Both locations are full of flies which is not pleasant to have food there.

Super healthy foods. Reasonable prices. Always fresh and clean.
