Quality food and clothing. Although you have to be above middle class to shop at Woolies food. Sometimes there specials are worthwhile but in general food is expensive. I mainly just get fruit & veg and sometimes free range meat & eggs. The staff are friendly and very professional. I've never encountered any issues at the store.

We shop mostly in the grocery section and have found their products are of high quality. In the current era of load shedding in this country, somehow Woolworths seems to be able to keep perishable goods fresh. Yes, it costs more but consider the cost of what you toss because it has gone bad when you buy it from other shops.

The shelves are almost empty. Cashier looks like she is on a slow go and would rather have a chat with her colluegue than helping me. Some of the fruit on the shelves expired 2 days ago. I could not buy what I came for because there are nothing and most of what is left expires today ot tomorrow or already expired the 5th! Very dissapointed. I waa there 16:00! The shop closes at 18:00!

Please remember to take your own bag as they do not sell plastic bags anymore. There is material bags for sale at R12 but they are verry small.

Really not up to standard , all fresh and frozen foods the shelves were 20% full only .Had to go to Checkers to complete my shopping.

We as a family buy the ready to eet checken each Sunday. But 2 Sundays in a row now we had to wait for it to be done today untill 12:00 (Lunch time) and still we left without it. For a big name like Woolworths i expect more planning around loadshedding and how to work with it which seemed to be the excuse. Unfortunately we cant include the Woolworths chicken in our Sunday lunch plans anymore as its to risky if we wil get it on time.

Wonderful place to shop at on a Sunday but eish, they don't have Winter pyjamas, slippers etc. They should have made a plan a long time ago. Any way Staff is very helpful.
