    Today I was humiliated in the store by their ‘PhD Doctor’ staff after I asked for recommendations for animal based high protein product that was soft and easy to take. The background is: My friend started his 3b lung cancer treatment this Wed and I wanted to find high quality supplement for the intense 6 wks back to back chemo/radiation he will undergo. The oncologist confirmed he will be coughing up blood so something that is easy on his esophagus is best. The hospital assigned an in-house dietician who specifically stated consuming animal and NOT plant based supplements and foods to keep up his weight and nutritional needs. This patient, is a full professor at the University, has a PhD in Analytical Chemistry and directs a laboratory focusing on functional food & lipidomics. So I trust both their combined judgement on what types of supplement to look for. This is an important point because when I went to the counter to ask for a dietician/on-site nutritionalist (the back area staff directed me to go to the cashier desk to ask the 2 people chatting for a dietician/nutritionalist because he didn’t feel comfortable recommending products for a cancer patient; otherwise - I would not have explicitly used those titles when explaining my situation and asking for help). I was promptly told to go down an aisle to get some collagen. The same lady came up to me a few minutes later when I was ready to leave the store empty handed and told me, ‘she “ignored” me because I asked for a dietician/nutritionalist NOT knowing she has a PhD and she was a Doctor’. I was shocked this offended her and repulsed that she deliberately sent me away with minimal help when I was desperately looking for advice for a serious situation. If this title was so important to you, why wouldn’t you have a name badge or a plaque frame to state who you are and what services you provide? Secondly, correcting me, clarifying you had a PhD and asking me to call you Dr. X would have suffice (still no idea what her PhD is in, could have been Psychology at this point since she never identified herself) After she had a chance to voice her displeasure about my ignorance, she personally shows me the collagen and the fermented vegetable powders. I told her I will forward the brands to my patient friend and get his dietitian’s approval to take these supplements during treatment. She seemed put off that I would check in with someone else, but I let that go. Then I asked if there were any testing product info to show metal analysis, nutritional value and protein concentration. She kept referring to the fact that it’s organic, provides full spectrum profile and I should be satisfied. I wasn’t! I’m a scientist too! I may only have a Masters in Science but I’ve worked in a lab, worked with testing labs and researchers for 15 years. My patient friend who can easily interpret the analytical results, will want to know and he would be able to discern whether the content is suitable for him or not especially since he’ll be immune compromised. So this is not me asking for the sake of asking for info. I genuinely expected just a yes/no answer and I would have sent the recommendations to my patient friend to decide. Instead, this lady storms off to the back employee area, calls me annoying and tells me not to bother buying anything. If these basic questions are annoying then I have no idea what people ask for when shopping for cancer patients who require high quality clean products since they’ll have a suppressed immune system. Why should I take the marketing labels at face value when there is no comprehensive statutory framework for regulating functional foods and natural health products in Canada? Needless to say, I am offended by every aspect of this interaction. It’s been a very rough emotional and nerve wracking week preparing someone for chemo and trying my best to keep him fired up to face the unknown. But this was a huge kick in the face. I will never spend another dollar at this store again.

    Finally a health food store in north west london. It has a great selection of gluten free options and any other dietary restriction you may have. Lots of supplements, chilled and frozen food. The prices is slightly expensive comparitivley but the variety by far beats the "local" store for gluten free selections. #localguides

    My wife and I have been going to this store since it opened and we have nothing but good things to say about it. We enjoy shopping there, they have great products and good prices with weekly sales. The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. The staff is wonderful, courteous, helpful and accompanying. We definitely recommend this store.

    Workers very polite but I wish they were wearing their PPE properly , the store is small and I don’t like having to squeeze through the isles of workers and customers not wearing masks or wearing their mask on their chin. No proper social distancing whenever I go. My mother who liked coming to the store with me is an immune compromised individual and does not feel safe shopping here anymore. I do like the many vegan options and cruelty free options the store does provide though. And there are always sales going on, but I will stick with shopping online for my own safety and my mothers

    Just wandered around for a good twenty minutes trying to find what I was looking for. The good news is that they carry a lot of items that you may usually have to get online. The bad news is that this location has zero customer service. Wandered around and not once greeted or asked if I needed help finding anything. Then, at the cash, I was asked for my phone number. I said I had never been before and the cashier just said 'Oh. No points then.' No offer to signup or any explanation for the points system. So, clearly, not wanting repeat business. My expectation for a natural health food store is engaged and informed employees. Suppose my expectations for a chain store that has been putting small businesses out of business were too high. Will bite the bullet and buy online the items that I can't find at my usual spot; it's the lesser of two evils. Two stars for selection.

    Came in with my wife to get two protein drinks. We waited in line with 2 cashiers, one who was busy scrolling through her phone while there was a lineup and another gentleman who eventually helped us and seemed like a nice guy. It turns out my wife's drink curdled and had gone bad. Went back in to get a refund and was helped by the girl this time, Nala. She said I could only exchange or get store credit for the drink since it was opened. My issue with this is that, in principle, they would only refund me if the store could resell an unopened curdled protein drink. On top of that, I was forced to fill out a form for the exchange, which is really awkward and weird. I think they should have owned up to the bad product and done a refund instead of making me exchange for another drink that my wife no longer had an appetite for. This rating is due to Nala's bad attitude, a weird store policy, and a form the customer needs to fill out to exchange a bad product.

    This is my go-to health product store in London! The staff is so helpful & friendly. They carry many products I cannot get elsewhere in the city. I am able to purchase everything from groceries, to supplements to beauty products, all from one store. That’s a win for me!

    *update* So I took the advice from the response I received and tried to call....for the 101 time!!! Again, no one answered the phone. It's super nice to receive a response from Healthy Planet on this review, but whomever answers these google reviews is not in line with what is actually happening at the store. I'm still disappointed with this Healthy Planet!! They can't be bothered to pick up the phone. I tried calling over 100 times!! This business must be doing great because they don't want new customers.

    Great selection and great prices. I love the vast selection of healthy and vegan alternatives they carry and I could spend all day looking around. The staff is pleasant and the store is very clean and organized. I love the selection of protein bars and vegan foods. It is a bit small, I hope that they are able to expand one day

    Healthy Planet has wonderful staff and great online customer service as well. Generally they have all the products I'm after with a great selection and at a better price point than another large online wellness supplier. Online orders are effortless and they arrive promptly. I would definitely recommend checking them out for your wellness needs!

    I bought vegan Ghost protein powder from this location and it was so disguising I only tried 1 scoop, I tried to return it or get a store credit (as most supplement stores do) and they said no. I am extremely disappointed in this service as every other supplement store would allow for at least a credit. Bad management.

    I returned a product at the Hyde Park location as instructed on September 30/22 approximately 2 days after received. Since I have received 4 emails questioning where I returned and am I sure, as the store says that can’t find any record. I had to resend a photo copy of the retuned items because the store was saying they didn’t receive. What kind of an business looses receipts, I will never purchase through this company again.     This is best health food store around. Supplements sections is awesome. The store staff knowledge is outstanding. I have never had an issue with them not finding something i need. Just wish they had another location somewhere in london eg whiteoaks area

    So the advertising in the store is pretty good however I’ve been tricked a couple times by the fine print, understandable with some marketing tactics, so you’d need some time to make sure your understanding the advertising. But that said the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Answering any questions that they may have to kindly offer.

    Can’t even fulfil a simple supplement order. After placing an order for delivery only 3 hours away in the same province, my order was in the shipping process for two weeks, then this company emailed me with a refund with no explanation. Likely didn’t like the fact that I emailed them twice about my wait time being far too long for what I ordered and from where I ordered from. Ridiculous joke of a “health” focused company. Better off ordering from Amazon like you likely do for everything else, I got the same products in 2 business days from them with no hassle or lack of respect like this company gave.

    I cannot say enough wonderful things about this business. They are knowledgeable and helpful and almost always have the answer for what i am looking for. I've been shopping there for several years now. They have a large variety of healthy food and snack options and i get all my supplements there. Comparable prices and point rewards.

    I want to shop at this store more but they make it quite difficult. The last four times I went to this store, the stock employees had their masks under their chins the whole time while the mask mandates were still in place. This seemed very strange for a health food store. On my last trip a mother and daughter asked if they had an extra mask for the daughter and the employee said oh don’t worry about it. The daughter looked very uncomfortable as she shopped maskless. I felt really bad for her. As someone that lives with at-risk individuals, this is not the place for me. Just letting others know in case you are in the same boat.

    Love it, only reason I gave a 4 star was because the aisles are really small and I brought my baby in his stroller so it was really hard to maneuver but customer service was great, products were great, and my baby still loves the colic drops I got here.

    I love this location! Always has my favourite supplements and foods in stock and associates are knowledgeable and friendly! Special shout out to Kelsie in Health & Beauty for being such a welcoming presence as soon as you enter the store! She always has a smile on her face and it’s such a breath of fresh air. Management is also amazing and handles all issues with ease. 10/10 would recommend this store!!
