Great experience. The service was great. We were warmly welcomed and shown our seats. Get the unlimited refill sodas. They keep on refulling them without asking. Ensure you ask for no ice as they come overly diluted. The spread was gorgeously presented. Colourful, tasty, deliciously prepared items. There was a huge variety: cold bar with raw oysters and shrimps, sushi, noodles, chowmein, teppanyaki, grilled meats and roasts, sauces, soups, fried meats and rolls, a salad bar with a large variety, fruits, waffles, fried rice, an ice cream bar and desserts (both warm and cold) including cakes, custards, candy floss and too many things not mentioned. Definitely worth every penny spent. Will recommend. Go HUNGRY if you want to get the best of this wide array of food

Went to Mandarin Restaurant for a meal and had an amazing experience overall. It's a buffet-style restaurant, offering a broad range of food items. Our server, Jenny, was attentive and helpful throughout the meal, ensuring that we had what we needed without being intrusive. Service was a highlight. As for dessert, they offer a chocolate cake that is quite indulgent and well-prepared. One notable feature is their birthday special—if you're there with a party of 3 or more, the birthday person gets a complimentary meal. They also took a photo of us and provided it in a magnet frame as a memento. The setting is comfortable, and the restaurant is kid-friendly, making it a suitable option for families. If you want buffet, this is one of the best places to go, y’all better go here this place has the best foods in the world. The Atmosphere is so fancy and the aquarium fish tanks are also really cool. I love how many people come here for their birthdays. It’s an excellent place for your birthday. They have really great service and the most nicest waitresses and waitress you’ll ever meet. Come here and enjoy the food. Also, it made us very full.

It looks amazing but when it comes to food i guess we Muslims are not welcomed as they don’t serve Halal chicken and meet. I had referred all my friends as we were planning to have family gathering but when i reached their i was shocked that they didn’t consider and accommodate us in their menu by including Halal food. Even-though the restaurant is in Mississauga and Oakville which has high Muslim population. So, we had to go to another buffet that accommodate us. I meet with a gentleman and i spoke to him of my feelings and he was really very respectful and said will take it into consideration. Hope soon will hear the good news of including halal food in their menu

My husband and I had not been in years since we don't eat out often and especially on a holiday. But, we decided to go for a Valentine's Day lunch, which was just after the Chinese New Year. All staff we encountered were friendly and courteous. The food was absolutely delicious! We tried several of the special new year's dishes and enjoyed them all. The decorations were beautiful and we were so happy that we went. We definitely will go again soon!

The food was amazing, the staff were super helpful, everything was super clean and the decorations were amazing. And Caroline was extra helpful. So we are definitely coming back! (We were at the all you can eat buffet)

As always the staff overall at the location were welcoming and you could eat relax talk and never feel rushed. We made a reservation and were seated within 15 mins. It is worth the spend with the food variety Freshness and flavour is well balanced And the Dishes are replenished right away. Cleanliness is A+ and the servers clear the tables right away. Nice place and delicious varieties of food. Costumer service is ok but I had an issue with a waiter named Chris and I requested him to never come to my table again then the lady took over was nice. For dinner it gets really busy after 6pm. Price per person are way too high. I still prefer Brampton location though. Food quality 7/10 Cleanliness 9/10 Waiting time 10/10 Costumer service 6/10 Price $$$$$$

Been here many times and am always pleased. Prices range from $25 for lunch and 35 for dinner. The quality has increased in the last few years and so too has the service. My servers CICI and Chris were kind but Selina really went above and beyond and my whole table all agreed her to be one of the best servers we’ve ever had so had to give her an extra special shout-out. :)

Celebrated the birthday of my niece in this restaurant. They have an all you can eat buffet and the price is quite reasonable for the extensive selection. Food was delicious, tasteful and flavourful. They took a picture of the celebrant and gave the print in a fridge magnet. Customer service was excellent.

In terms of Chinese buffets, there's other fancier choice, like Dragons Buffet, Wind, Fork & Spoon. But for those, you somehow feel like you need to eat and eat to get your money's worth, and don't really enjoy the meal. At Mandarin it is more relaxing, every guest here looks happier. Try and see for yourself! Know the selection of food they are offering, the taste, quality, atmosphere, is top notch here at Mandarin. Salad bar was fresh, lots of selection, salmon, shrimp, meat carving station was great. The lobster bisque was amazingly delicious, reminded me of the one we paid a lot for in Boston! The decorations for Chinese New Year were beautiful, there must have been like 100 lanterns! My family had a great time, fun and enjoyable!

We went to this location for the Chinese New Year lunch. The place was very clean and organized. The variety of food was excellent. Everything was very fresh from sushi, soup, roast, stir-fry, deep fried, and dumplings. Desserts were very impressive. We almost wanted to start our meals with sweets first. I really liked the decor because it made me feel very festive during Chinese New Year - which we dont get a lot around this neighborhood. I loved all the deep-fried items, and the sashimi portion was very generous.The only thing I would pick on is that the dumplings were a bit undercooked, and roast beef was dry. But overall we are very happy with the food and service. The kids like the place so much, asking to go back already. Cotton candy machine was a hit. Looking forward to coming back again for another celebration.

Some would the work of a critic is easy. It would be no difficult task for me peer down my nose on the establishment known as mandarin. Once a gem of city, now a relic of the past. That being said Mandarin is more just something to be reviewed, it a symbol of multiculturalism, Canada and an attempt to bring forth chinese heritage to the main stage. While one can critique the quality and consistency, you cannot underestimate the people who do their best to make each experiment as good as the last. You can give 1 or 5 stars, but Mandarin is Canada and Canada is Mandarin

The first thing that impresses me is the staff here are very nice, polite, better than any Chinese restaurant I've ever been to. Everyone smiles and welcomes you very well. The food here is considered diverse. The taste is within the standard criteria. Price was reasonable. I recommend this restaurant Well, I'll go back and eat again.

Grand Buffet Spread. Enjoyed almost all the dishes. Dessert selections were great. Never miss this place for a Chinese buffet.

We had a small group outing at this location. Not only is the food amazing, but the service too! Elaine was our server and she made our lunch a lovely experience! From the get-go, Elaine made sure to let us know that she was there for us and whatever we needed! Our water was always refilled and our plates always promptly cleared. Very nice food with great value. Weekend lunch regular price is $27.99/person but you can have a variety of sashimi, shrimps, and roast beef, etc. It's already very good value. In addition, We came with birthday coupon too: 4 adults only need to pay 3 persons as long as you register online and go to buffet lunch within one week before or after birthday. One of the best buffet restaurants I've tried. Best services for sure!. Our servers Queenie and Chris are very friendly. We will for sure come again and recommend to other friends.

Selina was a wonderful server and was very attentive, making the atmosphere very harmonious. The food was lovely with a wide selection. I have been coming here for years, especially as a young child. Would highly recommend for family events and birthdays! The decorations are also very lovely. They take your picture and sing a birthday song with a cupcake (if you’d like). Overall, it’s very nostalgic for me and I enjoyed the experience 😊

After leaving the province for some time, what a treat it was to treat ourselves to Mandarins. Welcoming at reception, polite. Lots if space, room in the sidles and at the buffet. Servers are most attentive. General Tao Chicken, Lemon Chicken, Breaded Shrimp.. would have paid full fare for the Shrimp Rolls alone! Overall buffet menu was a bit lacking I thought.. Do Not Take the Singapore Noodles off the Buffet Menu, please! And no ´warm’ Pecan Pie please. Overall a great experience, great memories of group (and family) get togethers and takeout. Worth the trip.. revisit Mandarins, create some new family memories.

I visited Mandarin for the first time with my family to celebrate my Birthday dinner🎉🎈🎊🎂🎊. While entering this place , I was refreshed to see the artificial fish pond with greenery decorations. In addition, the ceiling was created in sky blue with colorful butterflies and that was a eye catching ambience. Extremely satisfying buffet which includes variety of sea food & freshly cooked meat🐟🦀🍤. Various desserts, salad, soup, meat including fast food. On top of that, kids were excited to see & have the live cotton candy. Guests are often seated by a host and waiters were really super fast in cleaning. I have never seen such many varieties of food at one place before. I would definitely recommend this place for meat & sea food lovers.🍗🥩🍔🍜🥗🍳

Celebrated a birthday lunch. Our server was CiCi and she was amazing along with the other staff members. They were prompt and attentive and worked well as a team. The dining experience was 100% positive and the great food was a bonus. Will dine again. Highly recommended. Thank you CiCi.

Our families gathered impromptu and we decided to order delivery from Mandarin. Personally, I prefer to dine in because I always wonder if the food is up to the same calibre as it would be fresh on the line; But, we were really impressed with the food. They gave us a window and the food came in a timely manner. Everything tasted fantastic and fresh. All the dishes were still warm/hot. Delivery was efficient and the driver was friendly. The only negative was the free drumsticks. They had no air to breathe in the container so the coating on the chicken was soggy and there was not distinctive flavour. Those we binned unfortunately as no one enjoyed them. One other suggestion I would make are the egg rolls. Flavour wise they're great but there is far too much filling which clumps together. Biting into them was just a mound/clump of veggies etc. Maybe thinning out the filling with a fork before rolling/filling each wrapper would help with this. Other than that...Everything else was delicious 😋 Will definitely order take out/delivery again.

I’ve been going to Mandarin since I was a kid, however my experience tonight was one of the worst I’ve ever had in the many years I’ve eaten here. I understand it’s a weeknight, my party of 4 arrived around 7:40pm for dinner (they close at 9pm) however by 8pm they stopped refilling food and by 8:30pm they were literally cleaning up the food including dessert. My expectation is that they would provide the same level of service during “open hours” , it’s not like I pay less at 7pm or 5pm, yet the level of quality was absolutely unacceptable. With rising prices , eating out is a treat but it’s simply not worth it if you don’t get the same level of service. So many of the items were out and it’s like we were eating scraps yet paying full price Why open until 9pm then? If the food is out by 8pm. I still provided gratuity and paid for my party all the same as it wasn’t the wait staff’s fault, but we did mention our disappointment to the manager which we were then offered a mini stuffed panda, which was more of an insult. We paid to eat food and celebrate a friend’s 40th birthday, not eat scraps and get a toy for a child as some kind of conciliation for the lack of service
