Pretty
room,
delicious
food
at
Singh's
Cafe.
The
dining
room
is
down
a
few
steps,
so
feels
very
cosy
and
pleasant.
We
have
dined
there
many
times
over
the
years,
and
always
have
been
delighted.
After
we
ordered
dinner
the
waiter
brought
each
one
of
us
a
small
bowl
of
spinach
soup,
a
treat
and
nice
way
to
start.
Lamb
samosas
were
hot
and
came
with
a
tray
of
condiments
to
make
them
spicier
or
add
a
little
sweetness.
That's
a
popular
appetizer
and
can
be
vegetarian.
In
fact,
it
is
easy
to
stay
with
vegetable
dishes
for
the
whole
meal.
Lamb
Korma
and
chicken
in
dal
sauce
were
delicious.
You
can
order
whatever
level
of
spiciness
that
you
prefer,
from
mild
to
really,
really
hot.
The
waitstaff
is
friendly
and
efficent.
The
room
is
pretty,
and
the
table
is
set
nicely,
with
authentic
thalis,
metal
plates.
Very
sanitary.
Singh's
has
a
liquor
license.
There's
plenty
of
street
parking.
Singh's
was
doing
a
brisk
takeout
business
for
customer
pickup
and
the
delivery
services.
As
mentioned,
the
dining
room
is
down
a
few
steps
from
the
street
level,
so
is
not
handicap
accessible
for
a
wheelchair.
There
is
a
buffet
at
lunch
every
day
of
the
week.
They
take
reservations,
but
the
dining
room
has
not
been
very
full
these
days.
