We happened apon this ggem on our first night in London. We are from Albuquerque, NM USA and not familiar with Turkish food. The staff here was very welcoming and answered all of our questions about the menu. The food was the most delicious food we had all week! We went back to their Cafe for breakfast and it was also sooooo good. Thank you! Try this place, you will not be disappointed!!!

Great selection of food. Super place for breakfast or a little date. The Turkish coffee was good and the omelette was nice. Also reasonably priced

I recently had a wonderful dining experience at Hazev Restaurant Canary Wharf. The dishes were delicious and served in good portions, while the menu offered a great variety of options along with a good selection of alcohol choices. The baklava for dessert was absolutely delicious. The service was attentive and friendly, although there was a minor delay in the arrival of our main courses. Overall, it was a great experience that I highly recommend.

Good Turkish food restaurant, not your typical kebab place at all. Food is fresh and tasted good. Service was nice and friendly. Variety of meats on the mixed kebab was slightly under whelming but what was on the plate tasted nice. The starter selection was very good. Different breads would have made it perfect. Organic watermelon just tasted amazing, their own brand - they should get that into the supermarkets. Venue is nice, near the water but not really an outside space. A missed opportunity. Only reason it's not 5 stars is it's very pricey.

Amazing venue. They have a separate cafe shop and a la carte restaurant which is good. Lots of delicious Turkish treats on sale! Went to the a la carte section and got some classics such as Borek, Iskander, Bulgur wheat; lentil soup and baba ganoush. Very delicious food. Good portion sizes to share and place was very clean. Great service and bathrooms are very fancy. Worth a visit! Going again for some treats at the shop!

We were impressed with everything we tried. Delicious food! The restaurant is spacious and exquisitely decorated situated in Canary Wharf. The staff members were welcoming, and attentive. The desserts were also incredibly delicious. However, it is a bit pricey.

Nice fine dining Turkish restaurant with authentic taste. Everything is tasty and the service is friendly. It is clean. Also good for after work drinks. You could reserve rooms at the restaurant area as well as seated section in the bar area for groups.

Popular Turkish restaurant and cafe. Prices in the cafe are a bit high for cakes at almost £6 also they charge more for a bigger tea, same bag but just a bit more water and is way more expensive so it doesn’t make sense.

We enjoyed our celebratory dinner at Hazev. Food was as delicious as they looked in the pictures we took. The concept of a cafe, restaurant and bar works really well....three different spaces connected by its food and excellent customer care. A must if you are in the area.

I absolutely love this place. I’ve been coming here for a few years now and it’s one of my favourite Turkish restaurants. The service is always good and they always seem to have tables available, even at peak times. The place is clean and the staff are friendly and efficient. The food is absolutely delicious. I would particularly recommend the hummus and the meze. The baklava is also an absolute treat. The prices are pretty reasonable too. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes Turkish food.

Good. But not amazing. Service was very slow on a very calm Saturday evening. Baba ganoush was good, but my iskender didn’t come on a bed of fresh home made pita like is indicated on the menu . Also it the yoghurt portion in the iskender could be bigger. On the other hand the dessert was incredibly good.

Honestly my hidden gem around this area for about 10 years (to me), every time we come over for a simple, quick, and satisfied lunch, few maze with house bread, plus a big size Turkish tea or a coffee, asking no more ❤️ 👍

Food is not so great. I didn't like the taste. The atmosphere and service is brilliant. Prices are high when compared with the standard of food and quality.

A nice quiet tourkish cuisine restaurant. I ate the Mediterranean platter and a cheese pita. Very fresh and tasty. Also served very pleasantly. The atmosphere is calm and quiet, we were there for breakfast.

The ambience is nice, waterside view. Unfortunately the tiramisu cake was dry, it has been sitting in the shelf to long. The other cakes were amazing. Also open till 11pm so plenty of time to relax.

I have been multiple times to the cafe and restaurant and all the times I had a beautiful experience. It has a great strategical location near the river in Canary Wharf. Great place to meet with friends and head for a walk after. Absolutely delicious desserts and Turkish tea is on another level. Absolutely worth visiting, staff members are very welcoming and extremely friendly.

Consistently good Turkish restaurant, one of the originals. Attentive service and great atmosphere. Food is delicious especially with the optional garlic and spicy sauces. Amazing baklava.

Hazev to me is a standard Turkish restaurant with some redeeming qualities. Firstly, the customer service was phenomenal as every waiter/waitress made you feel right at home. Given the big size of the restaurant this was appreciated as everyone was made to feel equally welcome and catered to. The food itself was okay and there was definitely a focus on boasting Turkish flavours. However in my experience of Turkish restaurants in London, and from Turkey itself having visited the country 4 times, the portions for the main mixed grill was disappointing to say the least. For the same price (even less in most cases) you are served much more than a Michelin sized amount of rice, a few bits of meat and some salad. This certainly detracted from the experience and is a dealbreaker where returning is concerned :/ Dessert somewhat made up for the main as the baklava and kunefe were wonderful. Worth every penny in terms of portion and flavour. The Piña Colada also deserves mention as the candy floss was a great touch.

Hazev was amazing!! I came here recently for my good friend's surprise birthday meal and it was just amazing. For starters, I had halloumi with some hummus and some green stuff (not really sure what it was called but it tasted really good). To drink, I had peach juice which I hadn't tasted before. I'm usually on the iced tea vibe but the juice definitely hit the spot. For the mains I have the Hazev mixed grill which had chicken cubes, lamb, couscous but I swapped it for sweet potato fries and some salad and I must say I made sure my plate was clean. Everything tasted so fresh and I enjoyed every bite. The waiters were very professional and gave us a good customer service. I would most certainly love to come back here at some point. Shouts to Hazev Restaurant in Canary Wharf!!

I have to this place before first lock down and used to like it. Been back in April 2022 and was a bit disappointed with the same dishes I used to order. Size of the grilled chicken and lamb cubes are much smaller, hence, not as juicy. I’ve ordered burglar wheat but have been given rice, then they brought some mushy barley wheat with something else, so never got burglar wheat today . 🤨 when you know the difference - you know!

Staff were extremely polite and helpful. They made us feel very welcomed from the moment we entered the restaurant. Their warmth made you feel like you would definitely want to go back. Cocktails and food were just right and a generous amount too! Will definitely be going back!

Good food, great ambience Service could be slightly better though, but no complains Menu should be expanded for lunch

We were there around lunch time, it was a bit quiet at the time. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. The food was well seasoned and tasted very nice, the portion sizes are about on point. (Not a place to go if you want to be completely suffered for cheap.) The pricing is about on par with what you would pay in the area. I will return if I am in the area that is for sure.

I've been to Hazev many times with work, family and friends. Food is lovely and waiters are very nice and professional. Nice place with water views and yes, a bit expensive but a must try!
