The facility is clean, scheduling is pretty easy. Parking availability is good. The complete failure is their referral desk. Very, very frequently I end up having to call numerous times to see why they haven’t sent a referral approval to the requesting physician’s office. Today, my dermatology office called to tell me they have tried on 3 separate occasions to receive a referral for a cancer treatment they faxed to Premier (7/18/23, 7/28/23, 7/31/23), fax confirmed the fax request was received, yet no response. That practice called twice, then asked me if I could make it happen. I tried this morning, called their referral line, got a scheduler instead, like always. He sent an urgent message to the referral staff and my PA. Said I would get a call back today. Not happening. My appt is 8/1/23 and most likely will get rescheduled. Horrible service. Not worth being a patient if you can’t get referrals for care they don’t provide.

We have been patients here for more than 15 years and we plan to continue. We have always been treated with professionalism and courtesy. Recently at the URGENT Care Jamie eased our concerns about a problem and prescribed a med that worked. Many thanks to the welcoming and hardworking staff. Happy New Year to all. ♥️♥️

The worst! When it comes getting referrals from this place, don’t hold your breath. Anytime I have a referral request. The people who handle phone calls don’t know how to handle referral request. There’s always a new rule a new policy and today I spoke with Joanna at scheduling and all she said was “reschedule my specialist appointment”instead of handling the matter and getting the referral needed that should take 5 min according to my specialist and OB office, instead I have to run around in circles for 48 hours with Premier family health in order to get my request (which is still not completed). My OB office were in contact with them for the past two days, including myself, and still no referral. This is not the first time I have this issues with this office. I had the same issue a year ago to see another specialist and anytime I have to go back to see the same specialist that’s already in my file, we have the same issue with referrals. They deny you getting any other medical attention at any other office, if it’s not at Premier family health. Of course, if it’s at their facility they are quick to schedule an appointment and get you into the door to take your insurance money but anytime you want to see any other specialist outside of Premier family health they don’t even know what a referral is. I will be reporting to BBB for denying medical attention needed when pregnant!

As a woman, I feel the like the health care industry continually dismisses female patients. Ms. Urdaz was the 1st provider to listen to everything I said and asked meaningful follow up questions. She took the time to ask things that my previous primary care provider did not and sent me for different blood work. Because she was extremely thorough and took the time to listen to me, and got the necessary blood work done, we were able to to draw up a new treatment plan together. Never once did she talk AT me, she spoke to me and took the time to explain why some things might be better than others and what possible next steps might be. This is the first time in a long time, that I've felt heard by my provider. Thankfully, my new treatment plan is working wonders. For anyone who's felt dismissed or condescended to by their provider, I highly recommend Ms. Urdaz. She makes you feel like you are more than a number, she gets to know you as a patient before throwing pills at you.

I can only give this place a 1 star rating due to my experiences there. I do not recommend this place based on the referral department’ who put my health in jeopardy on several occasions. On two occasions I needed to be screened for two different types of cancer. I started requesting the referral for the specialists in August and because of one mistake after another by the referral department, I only was able to have my appointment a week ago in January! A procedure I was supposed to have in August was not done until January due to the referral department’s lack of either experienced people or concern for the patients. Either way it is causing me to have to look for another Doctor. This has happened on more than one occasion and the stress it causes as well as the risks to my health are not worth it ,no matter how good the staff may be. If I were a Practitioner there, I’d definitely leave for fear of tarnishing my reputation by working for a place like this. Don’t waste your time or risk your health here.

Only good thing is that it’s a nice building and overall facility. They’re impossible to get on the phone and I almost had to reschedule a surgery because they weren’t doing what had to be done without me harassing them. Then, I need clarification on something and I never got it, even after leaving multiple messages and calling repeatedly, so I had to go to another doctors office in order to get that sorted. They’re charging me $150 which I’d gladly pay if they actually did their jobs but they screwed up my whole surgery and made it a very stressful time.

From my first call to Premier Family Health I was grateful. I could not find an office that would take new clients and my insurance. They did. They scheduled an appt for the same week. Very professional staff. Dr Appelblatt is my doctor. Very nice, knowledgeable and professional. I have recommended this office to my co workers.

Horrendous office. The people at the front desk don’t communicate with each other, and are disorganized. They are always running late - my first appointment - which was the FIRST appointment of the day, they were somehow already 20-30 minutes behind even though the day hadn’t even started yet. I ended up spending over an hour in the office between the check-in, waiting on the provider, waiting to get the prescribed re test for some blood work. In the over an hour that I spent there, the provider maybe spent 10 minutes with me. The provider clearly did not care at all about my questions. She barely made eye contact with me, she didn’t offer any thoughtful or insightful information, and frankly - she seemed in a bad mood and disinterested and like she didn’t even want to be there. She literally just read me my test results while staring at the computer, and any question I had about abnormalities, she gave me no actual answers or thoughts and just said that she would send me to a specialist. I was then scheduled for a telehealth follow up during which they were again, 15 minutes late - and then because I had to start my work day at that point - we had to rush through the information and the call lasted maybe 90 seconds. This is not the place to go if you need or want real care. This is clearly a business with a bottom line, and the bottom line is the priority - not the quality of care.

If I could rate less than 1 star, I would. I decided to give them another chance (#3) but this is the very last chance. Please believe me...the negatives outweigh the positives (ratings). Please read the reviews before patronizing this "business". They have become too big for their britches. The customer service, bedside manner, respect, and care have gone to the wayside. This place is horrible. My review is already long enough, so I won't go into my unfortunate experience at Premier. Even if I had an enemy, I would never tell them to go here.

Shaunette Williams is extremely thorough! She truly cares and takes the time to completely understand and figure out what’s going on with you. She went above and beyond for my husband to give us peace of mind and get him the best treatment and answers to a very serious condition that he is going through. Beyond thankful and appreciative of her generous kind hearted nature in addition to her amazing knowledge! She is fabulous at her job! We need more healthcare providers like her! I can’t say enough good or thank her enough!

Made appointment 6 months ago for 12/4 830A. Get a call during thanksgiving holiday to go get lab work done. I was not advised I had a lab appointment. Report for scheduled appointment this morning only to be turned away as I am advised appointment is the next day 145P and not with Dr. Stock. But I could get labs today if I wanted to. Dr. Stock had been my doctor for years, moved to Premier. I have the utmost respect for her, however I cannot play these silly games with my health that Premier seems to play. I never make appointments for afternoon. Was I penalized for a lab appointment I did not make and was out of town for? I was warned about Premier but my comfort level with Dr. Stock was a deciding factor in giving it a try.

I needed a form filled out for my elderly mother to qualify for Medicaid when we had to put her in an assisted-living facility. Karla Faircloth, the Front Desk Receptionist - Lead, was instrumental in making that happen for us. I cannot express how grateful we are for her diligence, hard work and effort in trying to help us through this very difficult process. She went well above and beyond and we are eternally grateful to her for doing that. The Keller’s

They consistently do not respond to my pharmacy requests for refills of a needed medication. I have to call them often to make sure my refills get filled, and then they send the wrong prescription to the pharmacy. When I call, I can't get to the Pharmacy specialist, I get a receptionist who passes the information on to the Pharmacy Specialist who sends me a text message saying they sent the prescription, but then they send the wrong prescription again. This has happened 3 times in 6 months, requiring multiple calls (4 calls just today, and waiting on a response that the prescription has been sent in correctly.) I had to change practices to Premier because my previous medical providers no longer took my insurance. I have NEVER had so much trouble just getting a simple prescription refilled. I fear if I had a medication that was needed to keep myself alive, I would be dead now. Do not use this practice. I will be leaving Premier Family Health as soon as I can.

Whoever handles referral s needs to be terminated. 3 times now I have had specialists cancel me because of being put on lengthy hold trying to get a referral. I was supposed to see the doctor did my AFIB surgery tomorrow, but again can’t get a response due to being on hold for over an hour. You’re going to force me to look for another doctor.
