I would have given them a 5, but unfortunately the fryer was down, so the menu was limited. But the food that we got was absolutely delicious. Our server was awesome and checked on us frequently. We will be back to try more of the menu!

Delicious breakfast. Pancakes, eggs, and corn beef hash were very good! Nice waitress and reasonable prices. Cute little diner atmosphere and loved the live plants.

Great atmosphere, clean place. Just really disappointed with our meals. Sausage gravy was lukewarm. In fact, I had to put it on the hashbrowns to heat it up. Eggs tasted like plastic and cold.

most likely the absolute worst food my family and i have had. my brother asked for a slice of warm apple pie and it came out cold and with a hair in the whipped cream. my fathers ruben was extremely over cooked and my home fries were drenched in grease. not only was the food horrible but we were later told if my father paid card it was a $3 up charge for the “credit card fee” he paid debit card and tried to explain is was different and the money goes straight to the owner but the lady at the register didn’t want to hear what he said

It's my first time there, and I love it. However, the cost irritates me. We bought 2 burgers and a chicken strips (with fries & applesauce) 2 coffee's and a Pepsi was total of 49$. I was angry for the cost of the coffee. The coffee was nearly 3$. If I compared that to McDonald's, it's 2$ more expensive than McDonald's. Another problem was the condition of the restaurant. The seats and the table were poorly conditioned. It was like nearly ripping apart. Set aside from those 2 problems, I love it! 4/5 stars! EDIT: *I heard this twice* I also love the trains going by, it's calming and relaxing!

I've lived all over this country and there's no Mom and Pop diners like there are in Chemung County! Out of all of them, "The 'Burg" has always been a family favorite. Great place for a cup of coffee and an amazing dessert, or to take the family for a meal.
