King George V Playing Fields in Welwyn Garden City is a great place to spend a day outdoors with family and friends. The park is a large grassy area with a pavilion and offers a range of activities for all ages. They have a children play area, teenage skate ramp, tennis court, bowling court, basketball court and large rugby/football fields. The playground has recently been upgraded with new equipment, and the lawn bowls court is well-maintained. The changing room complex is also available for use. The park is easily accessible and has ample parking. Visitors have praised the park for its cleanliness and well-maintained facilities. The park is covered by CCTV surveillance 24 hours a day for your own and other users' safety. You can enjoy the park with a peace of mind that your security is priority. Overall, King George V Playing Fields is a great place to enjoy a day out in the fresh air and sunshine.

Nice, well kept and spacious playing fields. However, some people let their dogs jump up. The park could be improved by having more benches along the pathways. There’s nowhere to rest other than the kids playground if you feel tired, or just want to read a book.

Nice tennis court and generally convenient amenities. Could do with people picking up their rubbish. Great to have free sports facilities in a world where everyone is charging for stuff.

My kids love it here. Plenty of space for running around, a decent skate park and a play park too. Often come for picnics over the holiday.

Pretty good park. Has a good little skate park, nice field to run around & a nice size play area. Just be warned that it can get busy with teens being rather rude & annoying at weekends & early evenings

Nice open field. Football and cricket pitches. Bowls and tennis not sure when these are open. Skate park and children's park available. Well lit during the night with security cameras. Great place for dog walking and relaxing. Always very clean.
