I came to the bakehouse for a night out last Friday. The atmosphere and the venue was amazing. Lots of different ages of people younger and older. DJ was good and played a good variety of music. Being that it was open till 2:30 there is usually trouble that kicks off in most places but the bakehouse was just good fun. And there was a great member of staff called Ellie. We are the best. Will definitely come back.

Both me and my partner have been to The Bakehouse a few times over the past couple of months, it has become a favourite of ours very quickly. The food is of a good standard and I have mostly enjoyed the chicken burgers, but it is a good all round menu that is family friendly and good on the wallet. The staff here are wonderful, today we had the lovely Charlotte, Elle and Amy serving a table of 14 and they managed the service to a great standard. The table service helps to make the whole experience better. If I had one thing I would recommend as a improvement, I'd say a better wine selection would be good. Thank you to all the team at The Bakehouse.

Had a wonderful time here. Staff very courteous and cheerful. Happy atmosphere all round. Music not too loud and choices pleasant for a local. Will highly recommend if in the area.

There were 16 of us for our meal and we really couldn’t fault the staff or the food, they went above and beyond to make sure we had a good night, we preordered our food but had an extra person on the night and they managed to cater to our needs for this, we even added on extra sides as our meal come out and they managed to get those out to us quickly! We will definitely be back

This really has had such a turn around since new ownership! I went before lockdown and the atmosphere really wasn't one I enjoyed. However now it's a great place to take the family or catch up with friends in the day time for some delicious food/drinks. However come the weekend is my new favourite spot for a night out with friends, great music and competitively priced drinks close to public transport links!!

I have been working n to the Bakehouse a few times since the change of management. The team are always friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere lovely. I've had dinner with a friend, when we were served by Charlotte and Zoe, they were lovely and spent time chatting with us making us feel valued customers, the food was delicious too. Great portion sizes. I've also been in for afternoon refreshments, again service with a smile...would recommend and will be back. Thank you to all the team.

Went here today with my two kids after having a lovely skate at Roller city. Service with a grimace, seriously the staff need to smile,it was like a mortuary. It was too complicated to remove veg from the kids burgers, the desert portions were tiny and I think we were sat next to John the racist with his Mrs..oh joy. Nice taste and swift service good value for money. I would definitely go again. Play area indoors and outdoors.

I had a lovely experience while scouting for a place to work from, remotely. They had a lunch hour special which was this ultimate burger and a Foster’s for just £12. It was very easy to find a charging point and the staff was exceptionally warm and welcoming. I had left my car at the garage so they directed me to an atm. It was a great place to make use of the time I had, would return on my next visit to the garage.

When I arrived in this pub with all the family, we were greeted by an unpleasant person who told us that we didn’t book anything (altough we did it online). Then he told us that there would be no carvery and that we would have to wait 40min because they were understaffed (there were no clients except us…). The floor and tables were all sticky, we had to ask 3 times for somebody to come and clean the tables. The food was ok but some chips tasted like fish… We were so disgusted that we didn’t order any desserts. To conclude : very bad experience, we will never come back

Visited November 2022: it’s a pretty building and your normal chain pub, nothing special but not a Wetherspoons. I’ve not been here since being disabled so can’t comment on that but from what I remember it has good access and no steps at the entrance which is very unusual for places these days so huge plus for that. Plenty of parking too, I don’t know if it’s free or you’ve got to validate it, can’t remember. It’s a nice pub for a meal, food is your typical pub grub and a big selection of drinks.

I'm vegetarian so may I recommend the Moving Mountains Burger? It was very good. This was the while reason for our visit. It was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday afternoon; not empty, but it wasn't heaving with people either. The music was nice and it wasn't too loud. Outside seating is very nice as is the children's play area. The staff are also pleasant. It was a good experience. I'd go again. If haven't been, give them a try. There's plenty to temp on the menu.

This is a great place for so many things. The music quiz on a Thursday is becoming legendary and so are the Friday night discos if you fancy a boogie and a cocktail. A special mention of Jessica and the team for always offering great service. Their recent menu changes have been a great addition I can highly recommend the Fish and Chips, Pizza and burgers. Can’t wait for some more nicer weather so I can enjoy the garden.

Me and my bestie had a lovely time here today. The outdoor seating is convenient and cozy. The wine was delicious and the food was good. 4 stars because it seems like it clearly needs more staff, the girls were a bit pressured, but they did their best. Thank you!

I went in the bake house for the first time the other day and my experience was fully made by the lovely Marnie (the ginger one) who could not of done more to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying my time there. I can not fault how polite and friendly she was, I hope my next visit she will be there and I can have a great experience again! Bake house you truly have an amazing member of staff.

Booked as a small group, ordered 4 cocktails 2 of which should have been the same but weren't. Table was sticky had to ask for it to be cleaned. Ordered food but a lot of the items were not available and when the meals arrived one plate only had 8 chips on it. Raised this with them so they brought out more chips. To be honest the food was cheap and ok but the overall experience means we will not be going back

Nice decor, friendly staff & plenty of places to sit but let down by a lack of air con (was a hot day) and the worst food I've had in a pub for as long as I can remember. I ordered the ultimate burger which contravened the Trades Description Act as it was far from 'ultimate'; the 3x beef patties were tasteless with the texture of boiled meat and the cheese topping consisted of 3 plastic cheese slices also lacking in flavour. Couldn't fault the salad though, was freshly made and it added some much-needed flavour to the meal. My partner ordered the breaded scampi and this was another horror show; it looked and tasted like someone had bought the cheapest ingredients at a frozen goods high street supermarket & served it up, charging you 3x as much for the privilege. Won't be going back.

We sat outside in the sun and ordered 2 ciders and 2 veggie burgers. Food was fab. Midday Sunday the pub had a relaxing atmosphere. Perfect for a chill day off

Really nice kid friendly pub, like Harvester but better! A little pricey but the food was worth it. Really nice kids corner and a cute little climbing frame outside. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely brilliant. The Sicilian Lemon Muffin Cheesecake was to die for! Best cheesecake I've ever eaten. Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely be back soon.

We booked our Christmas Dinner at the Bakehouse. Apart from the long wait between starters and the main meal it was out of this world. Staff brilliant, food cooked to perfection and came out hot. I had mushroom soup fir starters never had soup like it absolutely lovely. Looking forward to booking for 2023. Compliments to the chief and all the staff who worked really hard as the bakehouse was very busy

Visited for a work Christmas lunch - the service wasn’t too bad given they had a table of over 20 people, but there definitely could be an improvement as the staff were pretty slow with clearing the table. The food was ok; average for pub food. Would like to visit again outside of the holiday period.

Attended for dinner with my daughter a partner. Was greeted by a worker called Marnie who was very friendly and helpful. The food was prompt, fresh and hot. They didn’t have one the beverages we ordered but we were informed of all the other options available. Great visit and will definitely be returning!

We stopped for drinks and something to eat, we were welcomed with a smile, and a warm and relaxed atmosphere. We were served by Prudence who was helpful, friendly and very funny, an all around joy to be around. The food was delicious and mouth watering. A great evening, will definitely be back again! :)

For the size and location, it's fairly middle ground. Nothing bad or excellent about it Bit of a harvester vibe, but the fact it's always half full with a few mean-mugging locals crowded around the pool table donw one end isn't the most welcoming Foods ok and the prices are standard. Staff are polite, but a smile is rare. Don't think I'd come in for one of the heavily-advertised Sunday roasts

Considering 15 of us arrived for dinner, the service was amazing. We had pre ordered but every meal was delivered hot, well cooked and tasty. The live guitarist was a nice touch but the later music a little loud when trying to have a conversation. Hence knocking off a star. Such friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble.

Working in the area so popped in for some food. The staff are extremely polite and friendly. The food arrived and was lovely. The pub, gardens and facilities were all clean and we'll maintained. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

I had my mums wake at the bakehouse and it was such an easy experience with the bakehouse from start to finish. I wasn't sure on numbers etc and they were so flexible and kind and allowed us to have a mixture of different buffet packages. The food was wonderful, everybody commented on how fantastic it was! The staff were so kind, patient and helpful and the children loved using all the play equipment. The bakehouse staff made a really hard day a lot easier. Thank you so much!

Went there with my husband and 2 children to meet a friend was only meant to be for an hour or so but kids where having a nice time so stayed a bit longer and children had food but then received a ticket for parking as was not aware you now gave to pay for car park. So I won't be using there again as very disappointed

Reserved for a Saturday but due to illness we moved it to a Tuesday so very quite which is a plus. We came with my toddler so wanted somewhere he could play which was great. Mum had an issue with her food but otherwise all food was nice.

Myself and family went to the Thursday quiz and really enjoyed ourselves! The drinks were reasonably priced, the quiz was a lot of fun and it felt like a really nice atmosphere. Whilst sat there we took a look over the menu and may now be regulars!

Went for something to eat yesterday....very disappointing...myself and my daughter ordered scampi and chips and my son burger and chips....no one came to ask if the meal was OK, which I found a little odd as they are usually on the ball, all our chips were covered in black bits, I assume from not changing the oil frequently. We barely touched the chips or the onion rings, when telling the waiter on leaving he said the chef had told him the black bits were spices!! Really! i can tell the difference between burnt bits and spices and why not just put your hands up and admit your in the wrong rather than bare face lie! No offer of my money back ...shame I used to go in quite often with my kids

Came here for lunch on the day it reopened after lockdown, and been here 2 more times since. Staff friendly and on arrival they explained the procedure they have in place. My kids couldn’t play in the play area as they are closed but the staff were lovely explaining to them about it, Food was amazing, and we had a lovely normal lunch considering the current circumstances. Thank you for your effort.

Super friendly staff, very clean and cozy place. Staff guides you through the safety rules at the entrance. Tables spaced appropriately so its very comfortable to have a conversation at the table. Average food I would say, but the desserts are delicious.
