I just find my new, favorite place in the entire Brussels. Went there with friends and enjoyed a la card menu. Finger-licking food paired with amazing wines. Words just can not explain how good the food was, so you have to try :) Rudolf, the manager was amazing and made sure we have everything. I am definitely coming back :)

Perfectly cooked high quality meat. Great selection of wine. Really friendly staff. What else for a perfect restaurant in the city centre of Brussels?!

We went for a starter and a main course and had to order another main course because it was too delicious. You HAVE to try the lamb! Not so many options for wine on the glass, but you need to have a dinner here! Best I've had in Brussels!

“It is difficult to find pasion this business” said the service (an owner?) to us. Well, there is a lot of passion for providing a complex experience to the clients at this place. Delicious food and wine, amazing service, very cozy place. We will be back.

We had a wonderful dinner here yesterday evening. The food was exquisite (we had the risotto, cod and the duck) and the restaurant manager Rudolf was so welcoming and helpful with food recommendations and wine choices. We were recommended a Belgian wine which was delicious. We had a great experience and my friend and I will certainly return when we are next in Brussels. We thought it was incredibly good value given the very high quality of the menu and welcoming atmosphere.

Cute restaurant. Nice staff, good wine list. Had a good dinner here, the staff was nice and very polite... The food was good.... But I think I need to try more carbonade in different places to have a solid opinion about it. The one I tried in this place was good but not too different from the one I tried before in a cheaper place.

Tasty dishes (5stars) but so small.. we had a starter (we were a group of 4 and we all took different dishes) and a main dish both at 42 euros. Portions were really small so in the end we left still hungry.. Overall it was very limited in terms of both dishes and selection of drinks

Solid menu and good wines. A very pleasant experience in one of the nicer corner of Brussels!

Service was friendly and it was nice to eat outside (luckily no one smoked while we were there, but just as we were leaving someone picked up an ashtray and was getting ready). The food was fine, though my falafels were too greasy on the outside. They could have drained them more or fried them differently, I won’t know. My biggest criticism is that the place is overpriced. €29 for a vegetarian falafel salad? Even €13 for the pardon peppers starter is too much. I knew the prices beforehand, but there are ways and ways of making food and for me this was not the kind of food I’d expect to pay €100 for (2 starter and main menus, one beer and one small water). Even taking account of the Belgian high prices, I would have expected a dinner like this to be around €50, €60 max.

Great food - simple, fresh ingredients in innovative combinations. Good service, reasonable price. Well done. The padron peppers were good, the burrata was outstanding — the combination of artichoke and orange worked so well. By chance I had the Belgian sparkling rose at the same time: it pairs really well. The shrimp skewer with pasta was great. The steak tartare was excellent. What sets this place apart is that each individual element on the plate is there for a flavour reason - not just to look pretty. The fried potato cubes on sun dried tomato gave the flavour connection to the traditional fries and tomato sauce - without the excess of a side of fries. Finished with the100% Belgian negroni. Dryer and bolder than the standard. 10/10

We booked here on a visit to Brussels last week to celebrate our Anniversary. First time visiting this restaurant. Food excellent, service excellent and the atmosphere was very nice. Not our experience but the restaurant is rather cosy inside and might feel a little crowded if it is very busy. We had duck and steak - very good.

Not the cheapest, but if you're looking for some quality food and wine, this is the place to be. The steak tartare was perfect and the best I ate in Brussels so far! Friendly service too.

We booked a table for our first anniversary. The reviews we read made us want to try this restaurant. And it was a pleasant surprise. The quality of the food is really top notch. It was very good and in more than sufficient quantity. Served nicely on beautiful plates. We know that the food is fresh because it is a small menu and some dishes were sold out. Drinks (excluding wines) are maybe a bit expensive. This is a small establishment (wine bar) located in a nice and more or less lively corner of the center of Brussels. The owners are smiling and welcoming. We even got a few gifts and surprises for the occasion. We had a great time. Thanks again.

Great food (brand new menu) and perfect service but a bit overpriced… 42€ for a starter - main menu and the cheapest bottle of red wine if 34€. But considering the location I guess it makes sense.

Jardin des Olives is the place to go if you are looking for a quality restaurant and wine bar. We have been customers from the first day and particularly love the focus on top products purchased from local merchants. And let's not forget the very exclusive wines that you will not find elsewhere. This is an epicurean place. The prices are very correct for what you get. The hosts are super friendly and always open for suggestions and striving to improve their service. Happy to support this type of business! Thanks to the entire team at Jardin des Olives.

Had a birthday lunch here today, three dishes were delicious, hummus with octopus was unique, as a spicy lover the fish was yummy (could be a bit more spicy 😋), the owner was friendly and humorous, will go again in future.

We had dinner here on our last day in Brussels. It was perfect. Nice staff, good wine by the glass, wonderful food. What we notice is that Belgian restaurants in general do not offer much in vegetarian food. Well, this Olive Garden does: my wife took a vegetarian entrée and a vegetarian entry "from the wine bar" and it worked out wonderfully. The staff understood that she wanted them together as one main course, and they obliged. I, on the other hand, had a meat course - some kind of entrecote - and that was perfect too. Just a little rind of fat, done to a crisp, and the meat was perfectly "au point", just as I had ordered. The wine is value for money. I can recommend the millefeuille desert too: very original, fruit of the season, very tasty. Service was attentive and friendly, without being pushy. And all this at a reasonable price: 100 euro (June 2022) inclusive 2 glasses of wine, a desert and coffee. Ten out of ten, as far as I am concerned. I hardly ever post reviews, but this restaurant was so good that I feel I owe it to them.
