I am grateful for their expertise in parathyroid conditions and my experience having a parathyroid removed there was excellent. The process is efficient and worry free. I highly recommend this facility and I trust the doctors here to give the best care possible. My surgeon was Dr Rhodes and I was very pleased and impressed with his care and skill. Their app gives all the information you could possibly need to transition through the process of having a parathyroid removed - no questions go unanswered. The surgery is quick - they took me right in, I had my scan and I went right into surgery. Before I knew it I was in recovery and being sent back to the hotel. All the details are taken care of with their affiliation with partner hotels and the limo service to the surgery center. I am so glad I chose the Norman Parathyroid Center and I would highly recommend the experience to anyone facing this surgery!

My whole experience with the Norman Parathyroid Center was amazing from the beginning, dealing with the office staff, to the end having my surgery. I was not able to have a face to face consultation at his office due to living out of state, but knew after my phone consultation without a doubt he was the surgeon for me. During our phone consultation I had many questions regarding surgery and he was extremely patient and answered each question to my full understanding. It's been 5 weeks since my surgery and my incision is hardly noticeable. I have had several surgeries in the past and this is the first I did not have to have any pain medication. I only took ibuprofen for a couple of days. After my surgery we went to get a smoothie then to the hotel for a 3 hr nap. After awakening I felt great. I had no sore throat, normal voice and ready for a full dinner. This is the best surgery experience I have ever had. Truly thankful to Norman Parathyroid Center.

I had surgery June 12, 2023 with Dr. Parrack. The entire process from the out-of-state consult to the day of surgery and everything in between was a well oiled machine. I had my surgery completed before I even got phone calls for the testing my pcp set up in my home state. Was well worth the travel. They took my insurance and helped me figure out any out of pocket costs, which was very little. Additionally, they helped with hotel choices. I had a shuttle to and from the airport as well as to and from Norman Parathyroid center for the surgery. I stayed a total of four nights at the hotel, just so that I could recover and not rush. I could’ve gone home the next day easily. I arrived at the hospital at 5:30 AM and was headed back to the hotel by noon. Everyone was very nice including my surgeon. I felt I was in the safest hand for this procedure. I’m just under two weeks out and I feel like a new person! Overall, I think using them for your surgery is a great option. I specifically chose this facility because of the number of surgeries they do daily and their success rates. Both myself and my husband are healthcare providers and we understand the importance of repetition, especially when it comes to a procedure such as this. My wife's experience here (parathyroidectomy) was excellent in every way. Top-notch doctors (and I mean that) and a super support staff took care of her all the way through her time there. 21st Century Surgery center! Online check in and scheduled a pre-op meeting to be interviewed by surgeon. Easy conversation going over my profile, possible outcomes and the surgical process. I felt very comfortable with my decision to have parathyroid surgery. The day of surgery was a great experience from start to finish, professional, friendly, great communication! I met the nurses, anesthesiology nurse and doctor and the the surgeon Dr Dan Ruan introduced himself and again went over the surgery process. I’m running on but this was a most excellent medical experience in a first class facility!

This is the place to go for Parathyroid surgery. The doctors are experienced and top notch. Everything is explained so you understand. The nurses are kind, knowledgeable and calming. Was a smooth process from start to finish. Once you decide to have your surgery download their app to your phone. There is everything you need to know on it and you can go over it a couple times before your surgery. Stay at one of the five affiliated hotels as they will arrange the hospital shuttle to pick you up and take you back and they also have airport shuttle so you don’t need a car. I am not going to lie, you will be sore after the surgery, you may have a sore throat but they have non narcotic pain relievers and you will feel better a few hours later. Top notch experience so far.
