Although this place is listed as a brewery, and the beers are pretty good, this place is more of a family friendly restaurant that happens to make beer. We went to this place with a few friends for the primary reason of having some flights and to listen to the band that was scheduled to play at 1:00p.m. We had to drive about 45 min. after we dropped off the dogs because this is the only place in Florida that isn't pet friendly. We were vacationing in Florida and this place was the only place with a band playing around lunch. Mind you, I've literally been to hundreds of breweries, check my reviews. This is only the second one that doesn't really push the beer. When we arrived, we asked if we could be seated near the band. We were told they were not scheduled to have a band today even though their website and FB page said so. So we just got a table for 5 and had appetizers and a few pints and flights. Then we decided to order meals and more flights and pints. As we were getting ready to leave, a band showed up. We asked what time they were starting and were told 5. We decided to stay and wait. In reality they didn't start till 6. The place was crawling (literally) with kids and parents. This is no tap room. They had a stout on the menu that was only available in cans, It was sold out. I was able to get a different 6 pack to go. You would think that after you spent the entire afternoon waiting for a band and spending a few hundred dollars they would throw in a sticker for free. Nope, $1.00. If you are looking for a place to bring the kids, this is it. If your looking for a tap room with a bite to eat, skip it. Sorry, our server was great as were all of the staff.

First time there with family, and very pleasant surprise. We loved the choice of beer (they have flights!) And the l food was good. Very good service too. Amazing experience, will go back to try other items on the menu (and more beers).

My first visit will certainly not be my last! Our server at the bar (Haley/Holly- didn’t catch it clearly) was awesome! Since it was my first time here, she threw in a recommendation on my flight card! The food took a while to come out but it was pretty busy during our visit and the drinks kept us occupied. But once we got our food, it was well worth the wait. I loved the steak. It was well prepared as well as cooked to my liking. 🙂😁 And their ranch is super delicious!

My husband and I have been wanting to go to this place for a while and I’m glad we finally did. Although we’ve see numerous great reviews on the food / atmosphere our sole purpose to visit Florida avenue Brewing Co. was the brewery tour. It was phenomenal, our guide vibed with us the whole time and was very informative. 🏆 for him and his awesome educating skills.

If you're ever near Wesley Chapel this place is cool! The place is huge and has tons of indoor and outdoor dining. The food was upscale, fun and creative, the atmosphere is trendy and of course they have beers galore along with mixed drinks! And the staff was funny and knowledgeable. Yup, I'd definitely go back and bring along a bunch of friends. Oh and they have these straws that are lemon and a bit sugary and edible! So fun!!

Great place was my first time going. Super busy but our server was amazing I think her name was Erica. The drinks were great a little pricey but they were good. The appetizers were on point and better than the meals, I got the fish and chips and it came out cold. The manager apologized and took care of the meal. I was hoping for a better experience but will consider coming back another time maybe during lunch.

This place is massive and great for large parties and kids. Their drinks were good, food was decent, and service was great. The Limoncello Gin Fizz was amazing.

We had our daughter’s sweet 16 birthday in one of the private event room. Not only was Amanda very helpful throughout the entire process (from start to finish), but people were impressed with everything as far as how big the private event room was, the food, and the service, etc. It was such a great experience and atmosphere. Will definitely be recommending this place if people are planning a party or event!

Great service, delicious beer and cool atmosphere! Make sure to call ahead for reservations as it gets busy. Really liked the IPAs we tried and the sour ales were excellent. Food highlights were the buffalo chicken flatbread, cheese curds and any of the salads (26th grilled shrimp or chicken). Service was very attentive and helpful given how busy it was showing up at prime time for dinner. Looking forward to returning when back in town! 🍻

Amazing beer garden and local spot. Food was good, beer was even better! Big fans on the patio kept it nice, plus looks like taps outside also (maybe for events or busier days). Even if you are staying a few exits away on 75 or 275, worth the drive!

We love coming here and sitting outside (when the weather is nice). The food has always been amazing and the drinks are good as well. I like their beer flight and also their own brewed beer. We had almost everything on the menu but this time we had the fish and chips, I believe it was the western burger, some tator tots and their truffle fries. Great atmosphere to hang out and watch some sports. They get pack so parking sometimes can be a pain in the butt but overall it's worth it.

Five stars for Sarah who made this a great experience this afternoon. I popped in with a need for wifi and power, she ensured that I had a comfy seat and got me sorted. I managed to go through two beers and a "happy hour" order of wings during my time here. Comfortable spot, good wifi for the laptop and excellent beers. The wings were pretty good though "hot" was not actually all that spicy. Flavorful though. Definitely worth returning to Florida Avenue.

One of the best breweries I’ve been to in along time. I’ve been drinking their Luminescence Hazy IPA for a few years so we had to try the brewery when we drove by. It did not disappoint. I, of course, ordered the Luminescence for my first beer and my wife ordered the Bruja Mala New England IPA. Both were excellent! I ordered the Prime Rib Cheesesteak on the advice of our server Brandon. He was 100% correct on that suggestion. It was unbelievably delicious! My wife and son ordered the lunch special combos. My wife got the BLT with a caesar salad and my son got the BLT with the BLT salad. Ridiculous. Even my daughter’s chicken tenders were to die for. We ordered one more round before we headed out. I got the Flying Coach Brown Ale and my wife got You’re My Boy Blue, which is a blueberry fruit ale. Both worth having again. They were excellent. Then we shared the Rollin’ Dirty Red Ale. Which was a good, light Irish red to finish on. We will definitely be back. Unfortunately not soon enough. Brandon was an amazing server! Super friendly, great on his advice and very knowledgeable. You have to stop here if you’re close. You won’t be disappointed! Cheers!

I just moved back home after spending some years in Miami and have to say that this is the best surprised from moving back! The brewery is within walking distance from my house! This place is amazing! First of all the location is gorgeous (props to whoever was involved in transforming the sports facility into a top notch brewery), second everyone there is super kind and helpful, and third the beer and food are dreamy! A must visit for everyone is Tampa / Wesley Chapel - I can’t wait to host happy hours and have multiple events for family and friends!

Amanda and Olivia did an amazing job on planning our event! They made it so easy and we’re so supportive through the whole process. I highly encourage everyone to consider having their next event here!

Florida Avenue is more than just a location; it is a place where the community comes together to experience the best of what the Sunshine State has to offer. From its humble beginnings in 2010, this craft brewery has grown to become a beloved establishment in Tampa, serving up some of the most memorable craft beer experiences around. When you walk through the doors of Florida Avenue, you can expect to be greeted by a warm and friendly staff who are passionate about what they do. Great spot in Wesley Chapel for a get together! We enjoyed the fish and chips, Philly cheesecake egg rolls and other meals. Definitely a great addition to the neighborhood. We are not beer drinkers so I can't comment on that aspect but the service was great and it was a nice friendly and welcoming environment. The pin ball machines were also a great find! We played several rounds and had a lot of fun.

For Saturday evening we were looking for a place to have beer and food. We were total 5 people. Since the place was full with people we got seated on the bar. We were greeted by our server with the menus. From the menus we first decided to order sampler along with the food which included Cheese Curds, Bavarian Pub Pretzel and Buffalo Cauliflower. For the sampler we ordered Dead Parrot, Tangerine Splash, Florida Avenue Brown and Never Too Late for summer. We first got the sampler. From the sampler we first had dead parrot which is the light lager beer, then we had Tangerine Splash which is a wheat beer m, Florida Avenue Brown which is a brown ale coffee Flavor beer and Never Too Late for summer which was a traditional german beer. From the sampler tangerine slash was our favorite beer and everyone was ordered the glass of tangerine splash. We also got our food with the beers. The food was delicious and we loved the food. The atmosphere was electric and amazing too. Definitely a chill out place to spend time with friends have amazing beers and delicious food to eat. The service was also good and amazing experience.

Great Beers! On a Sunday afternoon, this brewery had a healthy crowd. We were seated immediately and there was no fuss made when we requested to change tables. Special shout out to Dani for the awesome service! We were here at an odd hour, so we just did some apps and they were decent! The truffle fries however weren't the best we've had, there just wasn't enough truffle oil and what upset us was that the basket of fries had some freshly fried chips and a few that were so cold they might've been from 2 days ago!! The Buffalo cauliflower was good though - we enjoyed it!

Socially distant tables. Tasty drinks and food. Great service. Update- After several visits, I can safely say though atmosphere is great (tables, bathrooms are all clean) and food is okay (usually hot and made right, though the menu seems limited), the service continues to decline. Servers are not very attentive and bar service is slow (but beer and cocktails are tasty and creative).
