Cute little bakery! Got the cheese croissant and it was light and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Nice flavor, hint of rosemary. Little cramped inside in terms of seating (3 small tables) but air conditioned. Tons of seating outside. Friendly service!

I loved it!! I was super impressed with the Pain Suisse au Chocolat. It was fresh & light, and unmistakably French. You know if you know. Honestly, I wanted to take home everything in the pastry case. It was also a good quality double espresso that went so well with that chocolate and pastry cream filling. I think I'd be their every day if I lived nearby. I'm kind of happy that it's not too close. What also stood out to me was the café décor, and the amazing service. There is limited seating indoors, but I can totally see myself using the café seating outdoors when it's cooler. The pastries were also affordable for the quality. If you go early, then you may snag a bag of day old pastries for $10. I'm kicking myself for not getting one, but I just didn't want them to sit in the car all day. However, I will make a special trip to get a bag next time. I especially want to try the cheese croissant and one of the Emile Vergeois juices. They have so many yummy flavors. The William's Pear and Madagascar Lychee flavors were calling my name. I can't wait to go back!

The best croissants I've ever had. Extremely delicious specialty French pastries. Pricey but you'll be transported to Paris. Quickly runs out of popular items. A must try.

Just wanted to give a shout out to this AMAZING bakery Bakery-X LLC. After seeing a post yesterday, Hubby went this morning to grab us some breakfast and WOW! 🤤 Thank you so much! Crispy, fluffy, delicious, buttery taste and authentic French. Took us back to our years living in Europe. Will definitely be back ❤️.

Great and super affordable rice pudding. Baguette was alright. Nice quaint interior and outdoor seating. Need to go back and try the croissants from all these reviews I’m reading!

We had high expectations from all the long lines and overall did not disappoint! We got there early morning on Sunday to avoid the wait. + The owners were very friendly. + cute decor, atmosphere, very French ~ sustainability: minimal waste of only paper (interesting spoon that came with the mug, on tray) but shipping flour, butter and chocolate from France is not necessary for a great taste + good croissants but can’t tell it was the best of my life (compared to most coffee shops in major cities), would be nicer if they heated it up a bit

OH MY GOODNESS, this little French bakery is everything!!! My family and I discovered this place about a week after they opened @ The Krate and we could not be happier. We have been there twice and have tried multiple croissants (plain, chocolate, and almond - my personal favorite), sandwiches (chicken salad, ham and cheese, and pesto with roasted tomatoes and mozzarella). We also tried their Mango nectar that is also imported from France. It was absolutely d-e-l-i-s-h. But if you are a butter connoisseur, you HAVE TO get their ECHIRE salted butter (a famed artisan French butter, from the milk of cows of the small village of Poitiers and La Rochelle). I promise you, it is worth the price. Their lattes are so tasty - highly recommend! Service by the entire team, and especially by the owners, Xavier and Bridgette, are top notch each and every time! We will be regulars for sure. Please give them a try even if you live far. It will not be a waste of your time!

I've been a few times now and had savory and sweet pastries. Not tried coffee. They sell bagger coffee and french flour bags. But I really appreciate not overloading with sugar :) the owners are very courteous!

We had a great experience here. The croissants were delicious and had a great, subtle sweetness to them (perfectly French!). We also got the chicken salad on croissant, which was really refreshing on a hot day. We also enjoyed watching them make all the croissants. It is such a manual and long process, so I appreciate them doing it so authentically. Looking forward to our next visit!

I stopped in with a girlfriend who had just visited last week and enjoyed it. I spoke to the owner, Xavier, who was very friendly and told us of his history in the south of France and Paris. The decor is adorable and reminds me of my time in France and around Europe. I decided to try the pain suisse which was tasty and light. I also had the organic pear juice that comes from the south of France. It was very refreshing. It’s always nice to have a taste of Europe while back in Florida. I’d highly recommend visiting. Merçi Xavier!

Not certain if I love the food or the service more! I had a chance to meet the owner during my first visit, and he took the time to explain all the items & the story of Bakery X. It’s a great addition to KRATE & the Wesley Chapel community. P.S. Get the Ham & Comte, you’ll thank me later!

One of the best bakeries! The owner is very friendly and generous. I love the presentation and ambience, and everything is top quality. It's great that the bread has no preservatives, so they sell them freshly made everyday. Highly recommended!

We tried a variety of pastry and they were all amazing. The quality of the dough is excellent! 10/10 recommend! I will definitely visit next time I am at the Krates.

Great new place at the KRATE!!! Best French pastries 🥮 and croissants 🥐 in town. We will definitely go back every time we come in town. They were sold out 2 hours after they opened but we waited until the next batch that came out of the oven. A must if you’re close by!!!

Lovely buttery French pastry. It is not inexpensive but if you want to treat yourself to a really good flaky croissant, this is a good place to do it. My cup of coffee was nice too

Highly recommend the mystery bag. For $10 we got six pastries which still tasted super delicious. I don't even like pastries that much but they've got some real freaking tasty dark chocolate croissant type thing.

This is the real deal. French owned, and it takes 3 days to make the croissants! We got two of the savory croissants along with a pile of chocolate croissants for breakfast. We happen to live lychees so we loved the lychee nectar drink.

As authentic a patisserie as we have found in the US. The croissants are light and flaky, practically melt in your mouth. Service is exceptional. Ingredients imported from France. This is a too well-kept secret.

X Bakery at Wesley Chapel gave me the opportunity to taste fresh baked croissants, and French pastries, all done on the premises by Laura and Xavier “X” The truffled butter with the croissant my favorite! My best option for breakfast in the area.

This place deserves so much support due to its fantastic baked goods, friendly and helpful staff, and spot-on coffee. The only reason I could not give 5 stars for everything is that the KRATE structure and environs simply limit the business' ambiance. They do well with the space they have, though. I have enjoyed the outdoor seating on visits.
