The Parrish Art Museum is an unexpected space and the grounds it stands on are just interesting. It sound silly to say out loud but, when we visited, the grounds happily did not meet my expectations. They reminded me more of a nature preserve than the opening fanfare to an art gallery. Oversize doors lead into a large foyer and to a lobby that actually takes a moment to cross. The works and displays are well shown. Some of the pieces occupy entire walls and each of the smaller gallerys are themed for a given artist, technique and/or period. The a small cafe and gift shop are unobtrusive and are found to the left and right of the lobby, respectively. The people working at Parrish Art Museum are professional, helpful and very, very patient. I'm not one to make a special trip a museum or gallery though I usually enjoy myself once there. I enjoyed my time at the Parrish Art Museum. It was fun to check out the exhibits but also fun to watch the other patrons as one piece or another caught their eyes.

Housed in an old airplane hangar, Parrish Art Museum is a clean, open space housing some interesting artwork. The exhibits are cool and on a weekday, the Museum was not very busy and there was no wait to get in. Bought tickets at the front desk and off we went. The gift store is small, but also has some cool books, stationary, and other artsy knickknacks. Would definitely stop by if you're nearby. Great stop in the Hamptons.

Is always a pleasure swinging by the Parrish Art Museum. The building is a design masterpiece - from the context to the structural details and it's worth the visit alone. The collection here is small but always changing and you can easily spend a couple of hours around.

Pretty sure my blood pressure dropped pulling into the parking lot. Architecture seamlessly blends into the wild landscape at the Parrish Art Museum. It was refreshing, and refreshingly quiet. Inside I was treated to temporary exhibits including: Audrey Flack, Frida Kahlo and Mel Kendrick. It was nice discovering paintings by William Merritt Chase (This museum carries the largest pubic collection of his work.) The cafe was closed due to renovations, but reopens in March. Can't wait to return and see the mural being painted inside...and I'm told the cafe will carry bakery goods by The Blue Duck Bakery Cafe, which only makes it imperative I return :) Lastly, parking was free and easy. The museum is on one level, so super easy to get around if there are mobility issues. If you're on Long Island, I highly recommend a visit!

Cool building, but the arts inside were not interesting to me, and I love art museums. This one was dispointing.

Spacious place for local art. A great spot to walk and think, amazing collection of student work, amateur but nice to see how kids think and express themselves…9/11 photo memories, very sad so if you lost someone during that time, don’t look at those pictures. It’s hard to remember that day for so many people. Just be aware. Nice mini book store is there too. Cafe. Students enter for free

Nice Museum with a stylish architectural design. The docents are very friendly and know a lot about the art that’s on display. I recommend that anyone who is passing through visit this museum and I will definitely go again.

This is a large art museum now in its tenth year. Galleries are spacious and there's a small but well appointed gift shop. A great cultural addition for the east end.

Great art museum with fabulous architecture by Herzog and de Meuron. Great current exhibition on the early Lichtenstein.

Enjoyed weekend here with my girl friend, to check autumn day. Really nice, it took me back to Nordic countries where I lived around 5 years.

Very nice museum. I went here once about five years ago and I could say the collection definitely changed which is a good thing (in most museums I don’t want to see the same thing over and over). It seems like there is good diversity among the art and there was an emphasis on local. Definitely will be back when things change around again at some point!

It’s a wonderful space, both indoors and out. Bright, airy and a perfect venue for art. The changing exhibits are always thoughtful and provide an opportunity for Long Island artists to really shine.

Enjoy coming here quite a bit. I enjoy the building's architecture. There's usually some interesting exhibits. The staff is always very friendly. Head next door to Duck Walk for a glass of wine afterwards.

Great exhibition and beautiful building, location, and surroundings. If you're near Southampton this museum is a great spot to spend an hour or two. Get away from the beach or get out someplace warm come winter. You'll also find a nice little cafe with drinks and snacks. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, peaceful museum. Art was a bit out there, but overall liked it. Museum shop had some great things, bought a cool modern plastic necklace !

A gorgeous space filled with barely any art. Art has no artists statements so it’s difficult to connect or feel interested. What little information there is is accessed through QR codes in an area with little available internet connection. Such a misuse of such an amazing space and not worth the price.

Enjoyed the exhibit, Women Artists on Eastern LI, 1950 -2000. Exquisitely designed building by Herzog & de Meuron.

I recommend this place if you like architecture or pass nearby. The quality of the building is very high (Herzog and De Meuron did a great job) however the art displayed is not as good as the building. It’s interesting but I wouldn’t go only for the art art least from NYC

😠 Stopped in and purchased a small bag of their lemon crinkle cookies , they were totally stale, old, and for $10, for a few cookies, I’d expect them to be fresh. Ironically the bag says fresh market. Yea not so much. Garbage!

😐 I'm not sure what to make of this wine-tasting experience. Just to be clear, I wasn't expecting a high-end Napa-grade winery. I went in with the right expectations. And also I understand that each bottle of wine here is roughly between $20~$30 and their Reserve Cab comes in at around $50. However,...
