I had my very first empanadas from this place. I expected them to be good, but they were BEYOND AMAZING. They're crunchy, but gooey on the inside, filling, and also super cheap!

Food was so so amazing! We got the cheeseburger and chicken and cheese empanadas and the family style nachos. The food was so fresh and had the best flavor! The staff were excellent. Will definitely be coming back!

Hands down the best empanadas in New York. There are so many flavors! The chicken empanada and loaded potato empanada 🥹🥹🥹 Also! The RASTA PASTA 🤯🤯 You have to try it. It’s a little spicy, but it’s delicious. They are a family and locally owned small business. Absolutely fantastic food and service. Extremely friendly and highly recommend. If you want some authentic food and the best empanadas around, Vicky’s Casa del Sabor is the place!

The food was amazing! So many empanada options and all were delicious. We loved the el filly, the beef and cheese, and the jerk chicken ones the best. The yellow rice was awesome too. The tostones were great, my 14 month old kept stuffing his face with them! Quesadillas were excellent too! Large portions. Definitely check it out!!

The staff was so friendly to me and the food tasted homemade with lots of love put into it. While I was there several customers came in and the staff warmly greeted them by name, which is always a great sign. Overall this place made me very happy

The food is very good/authentic. They have different size platters (tins) where you select your choice of meat, rice, beans, etc., generous portions, reasonable price. My usual-Pernil w/skin, rice, black beans, sweet plantanos, or a foot long Cuban. The tamales are also good. I'm particular about pastry shells so I haven't tried many of the over 20 varieties of empanadas. However, they are very popular with other customers and for catering. There are several tables/booths for dine-in. It's not fancy, but I recommend Vicky's for good food.

Love this place! Delicious and so affordable. This isn’t a lovely sit down restaurant but definitely a take out if you are in the mood for Spanish food. They have so many options of empanadas I recommend you call ahead for those as the wait time is pretty long. Also cash only which is a bummer as I rarely carry cash now. If you’re nearby and want some Spanish food give them a try.

First time here. Came around dinner time (6pm) there was no wait for the line..the food was fresh and the customer service was delightful. Once I tasted the food I was in heaven...they make it with love. I will be returning.

A hidden gem! Everything they make is so flavorful and fresh! It’s hard not to order the entire menu when you enter, and all the prices are super reasonable, even with the prices of everything skyrocketing. The owners and staff are friendly and super welcoming. Remember to bring cash, as they are cash only!

I love love love Vicky’s!! She’s is awesome!!! Love her brother and family who work there! Food is always so damn good ! Pernil is juicy, Arroz con gandujes is delicious, maduros and empanadas like the Cuban are scrumptious! Their portions are huge ! I’ve been going there for over 20 years now!!!

The food is so good and yummy! I had ate every pork empanada! The workers gave me the food nice and quickly! I would say this is 10/10 small business .

The staff at Vicky’s are incredible chefs and more importantly, people. I reached out to them after hours to request a large order of mini empanadas for my daughter’s first birthday party the day after. They were happy to complete the order for us on short notice and the empanadas were such a hit at the party - our guests took down all 90 of them within the first forty minutes of them being served. We love the staff at Vicky’s and I can’t wait to use them for our next event!

Literally couldn’t give Vickys anything lower than 5 stars. Food and service are second to none. Best empanadas you will ever find and the Cuban sandwich is a personal favorite!

If you have ever been here and had the pleasure of eating anything from here, you know that you had amazing food. I have never been disappointed or upset. I have had Erick and Vicky cater countless events for me including my own birthdays. I have recommended them to dozens of people and every person has come back to tell me they thought the food was as amazing as I described it. I will always go here for food whether it is empanadas or a sandwich or a dinner plate. I HIGHLY recommend this to everyone to try and compare to any place you already go to.

So happy they reopened! Our hearts go out to the family. We had the Cubano sandwich and beef and cheese empanadas and Buffalo chicken empanadas. Everything was excellent! Excellent prices as well.

We love Vicky’s! I first started going here as a kid when they bought the place and now it’s one of our favorite spots to go to with my husband and friends. Cash only! Great staff! Every one in the neighborhood loves eating here especially the empanadas. We live in central Islip/Brentwood area (lots of Spanish Delis ) and still drive to Lindenhurst for Vicky’s

This place is amazing. Period. They speak both English and Spanish fluently and their food is out of this world. You should call ahead because it does take a lil bit of time but all of their food is worth the wait. I’ve been there numerous times, but most recently, I went there and got their 16 taco party pack. They gave me a whole extra container of meat (it already comes with 2 containers) and a LOT of soft taco shells. They’re always so nice. Spend your money at this local business because their food is worth every cent!

Food is delicious, prices are reasonable and service is fast. Always a good spot for our lunch breaks at work. Just make sure to bring CASH. No cards are accepted.

Haven't tasted jerk chicken in years. Wandered in saw it and tried it OMG! Please keep up the good work I've never been disappointed
