I’ve been coming here for 2 years but only because there are no good gyms in the area which explains why this place is always packed. Take that into consideration when you are consistently waiting for machines, benches or other equipment to free up. A routine that would typically take me 45 minutes usually takes me almost an hour and 15. This place is full of young children which is a huge annoyance. They come in groups after school into the evening and hog equipment. There used to be a rule about underage kids which apparently no longer exists. Speaking of equipment, everything is pushing 20 years of age. Nothing is up to date and on any given day you will see many stations that are out of service. Dumbbells and plates are scattered all over the gym. Worse of all, it smells and does t look clean. You see people pouring sweat all over the equipment and it doesn’t get cleaned for god only knows how long. Nothing is in its place and you have to constantly hunt down weights. Don’t waste your time or money here. It’s just a corporate cash cow that they refuse to pump any money into to get it up to par.

Open time is 5am, yet here are customers 6am waiting outside. Hot tub in desperate need of cleaining as well, cardio machines are out of order and dont repair promply.

Great place! The staff are friendly, and I've made a few friends already. Shane is knowledgeable and really helped me with all my needs. Best trainer I've ever had! I reccomend Shane for anyone who wants to begin training. The place is clean,, and they have a pool, hot tub, and sauna! God bless them all. 😇

I signed up here because it is one of a few gyms with access to a pool. The problem is that the pool could be a little cleaner. Looks like it is never vacuumed with dirt accumulated in the corners. And I have gotten other people's hair in my fingers while swimming. The gym is beautiful but not well kept. So many of the treadmills and machines are out of order. Some of the lockers are broken. They put the sign on it scheduled for service, but it never actually gets fixed.

I’ve been coming to this gym for a while and have been having problems recently specifically with the pool. First off the lifeguard is VERY rude. I went swimming yesterday and while I was swimming he opened the fire exit door. It’s winter, freezing and I’m in the pool close the door! Plus the pool closed at 6:30 that night, kicked us out at 6:20 cause he wanted to leave. It’s just 10 minutes but still I could have used that. All these issues with the pool and recently a lot of machines are broken and never get fixed. Seriously considering my membership.

Gym was pretty good until they removed all the paper towel dispensers and water bottle refill station from the floor. I would also recommend that they clean the pool more often as it does not compare that well to some of the other LA’s I’ve been to. As it’s pretty salty

Love this gym. It has everything you need at one location. Joey helped me with my membership and a tour of the facility. Can’t believe how big the gym is. There is something here for everyone. Go see Joey, he was great to work with. So many amenities and super clean.

I love this gym but lately they’ve been neglecting the cleaning and it’s not cute this is just an example the floor for the classes super dirty full of dust I mean come on now do better with the cleaning

Dirty gym. I never seen mirrors so dirty at a gym it's crazy. Hand prints and spit from people lifting which I understands happens but they should be cleaning mirrors often. The weights are also all over the place (on the floor, or part of the gym) and if they happen to be in the dumbell or barbell area they are not even in the right spot(40s where the 15s go, 25s in the 50s?!!) . The locker rooms however are extremely clean. The gym has a suana which is great but not worth it for me to go to such a dirty gym. The biggest for me personally is that a gym has to be clean and organized this isn't it here. I even tried to give it a 2nd time and it was even worse then the last.

I signed up at this gym mostly for the swimming pool. Unfortunately the pool is closed, sometimes multiple times a week for different reasons - staff not showing up, technical issues etc. Don't advertise amenities that are not offered on regular basis. All I get is an excuse that the pool is managed by a third party which is not a valid excuse. There are many times when I get to the gym early in the morning, only to find out that the swimming pool is closed. No notification is ever sent out to the customers, which indicates to me there is no respect for my time or money. Also, the manager doesn't bother to call me when I asked to be contacted to discuss this matter.

disappointed with this location. I think I spent more time tracking down weights that were scattered all over the gym. went at 9pm thinking I would beat the crowd but I was wrong. I think that has to be the fact that nobody sits at the front desk at night so people just walk right in with their group of friends. gym has great equipment but the first two machines I sat on were broken.

Shady, predatory business practices. I go in today to cancel my membership and am told the following “oh we can’t do that the manager has to be here you can come back (whatever days and time she said.)” yeah let me call in to work and say sorry can’t come in have to cancel my gym membership. So quick to sign me up and take my money, but when I want to cancel suddenly I have to come in and talk to a manager. Unreal. I thanked her, (for nothing) and left. Called corporate number and had it cancelled in 5 seconds.

I signed up at la fitness Lindenhurst a bit ago. I loved the gym the first time I saw it, the atmosphere, the look , the amenities and the staff are outstanding. Shane greeted me with a smile and even cracked a joke when I told him I came from planet fitness. He was such a kind gentleman and convinced me to join the first day I saw the place which wasn’t my intention. Rich and his front desk staff always make sure to say hello when I come in and take care of all the issues in the gym. All around beautiful gym and great people. Highly recommend

I signed up at the Lindenhurst La Fitness and I was instantly greeted by the general manager Shane. He made my experience quick and easy, giving me a tour of the gym and all other essentials. I was impressed by the size of the gym and all that is has to offer. Shane did a great job of making me feel in a comforting environment. I have been looking for a gym that meets all the aspects of the experience I’m looking for, including lifting weights, cross fit training, and hitting the heavy bag. I love that they have classes included in there membership. Shane definitely hooked me up and I highly recommend to deal with him when looking to be a part of a gym membership here this!

Been going here for a year now and this is one of the best gyms on Long Island by far. The gym is always kept clean and well staffed I never have problems with dirty machinery and the weights are always organized. All the staff is amazing especially Shane he helps me all the time when I have questions or anything like that he is the man to see.

After taking a 2 year hiatus from the gym, I decided to check out LA fitness with a friend. After going 2 times and following her work out routine, I decided to sign up. Shane greeted us both times we came in and gave a great tour when I was curious about joining. He answered all questions and was extremely patient, professional, and pleasant. Yero does a fantastic job as a trainer. He walked me through the correct workouts for the results I wanted. He was patient when I needed a break and I highly recommended him as a trainer! Overall, the gym is clean, the staff is attentive and I highly recommend this location.

The pool is disgusting. It doesn't work all the time. Made my skin peel. It's slimey. And there is a dark slime on the wall between the water and the top of the pool. After I take a shower there, I feel like I need another shower. The pool was the only reason I went there. No more for me.

Went here for a little bit and was not impressed. For almost 40 dollars a month with a 150 dollar down payment you get an overcrowded, outdated, smelly gym. For a couple days straight I literally could not get on some machines I wanted to and the locker room just seems old and smelly. The nearby Crunch and Planet fitness both have better crowding, better machines, and much better locker rooms. A positive about this gym is the smoothie bar. I got a Strawberry Banana smoothie and honestly it was fantastic. I would however not pay 35 per month and 150 dollars down for a good smoothie.

Was in the sauna and noticed a paper towel that was on the floor for over 4 days meaning it hasn’t been washed down or cleaned…disgusting. Dirty smelly gym with 20 year old equipment…most treadmills are broken. Don’t waste your time or money.

Nice people, always clean and neat. Plenty of weights of all sizes. Plenty of cardio and multiple area for weights. Thanks Shane and Yosuf.

Customer service is always great. Shane (the manager) was very helpful in getting me signed up again.The gym is pretty clean and there’s always enough equipments to work with.

I just signed up at the Lindenhurst La Fitness this morning. I was greeted my the general manager Shane. He made the whole experience knowledgeable and easy. I got a tour and was really impressed by the turf area in the gym. I have been looking for a gym with turf and was happy to see they had it since I used to do CrossFit. I love that they have classes included in there membership. Shane definitely hooked me up with a really good sale. I highly recommend if you’re reading this to ask for him when you check out this gym!

Shane is an amazing personal trainer. He has such great people skills, he knows how to make you feel comfortable. But at the end of the session you will hate him in a good way. I definitely recommend him!

This gym is pretty dead at times which is a plus. Larger juice bar with more selections than other LA’s on the island. Standard equipment nothing really different than others. Being clean is a big plus

The issue is that with that amount of people going and paying at least $30 a month (if you pay less than that it’s a steal) how are so many cardio machines always broken? It’s always the same ones! Replace them already. And if you think your machine works you better test it before you get on. Same with the weight machines, you always have to check if you’re missing a hook or pin. Still gonna go here but if a better gym opens nearby, I’m outtt

Giving them a four because I want LA Fitness to strive to do better but it’s actually a pretty nice gym. Lots of muscle bound dudes (named Moose no doubt), women wearing work out costumes so tight that it leaves nothing to the imagination (not complaining) oldsters trying to maintain some semblance of fitness and fatties who are there because the doctors told them to lose weight (they never will so why bother). So basically it’s every gym we’ve all been to, but it is clean and they have good equipment and classes and there ya have it!

I have been going to LA fitness for a couple of months now. The service I get here is amazing. The staff and manager are super friendly. Shane the manager gave me a tour of the gym and he motivated me. He has great customer service.

This gym is amazing. It has great customer service and any questions I had the staff was very patient and willing to help. Especially Shane. Shane is great, and is a big part of my enjoyment at Lindenhurst LA fitness. The gym is always clean and the workout environment is always great.

I've been going to LA Fitness since 2018. The staff are friendly, the manager is attentive. Classes are spectacular especially the instructors and I've made so many friends. I generally feel safe in this gym and I would recommend this location to my friends.

When I signed up for la fitness with the general manger Shane I knew this was the place for me to go to . He made everything very easy during the sign up process and was super polite! La fitness is the best and I love every machine in the gym. If your thinking of signing up to la fitness definitely talk to Shane the general manager when you get there he will make sure you are all good .

I just recently signed up at La Fitness in Lindenhurst and had the greatest experience dealing with the general manager Shane! He offered me a great deal along with giving me an entire tour of the facility. I’m really looking forward to signing up for the classes the gym has to offer, as well as utilizing the turf area. Shane has a great personality and amazing sales experience. Definitely the one to go to when signing up here!!

I’ve been to LA Fitness facilities all over the US and this is by far the cleanest LA Fitness I’ve been to. The staff is awesome and the members are amazing! I’ve made so many great connections with people working toward the same goals. Brian, the GM, always puts a smile on my face when I see him. I truly look forward to working out because of this place!! 5 Stars!!!

Great staff and atmosphere at this gym. It is lively and usually crowded but there are enough machines and functional space to accommodate. Love the juice bar !!!! I see a lot of good-looking people at this location 👀

LA Fitness in Lindenhurst is an amazing place to be. I am a Recruitment Officer for a Police Agency here on LI and Brian the manager has let me and my team come in all the time to promote our agency and our exam. The staff is so welcoming and the members are fun and kind. The gym is clean and has a lot to offer! A few of our Officers are members and they love it here too! Go check them out!

I wish I could give zero stars. Every single machine does not have pin to use the machine. Absolutely no one puts their weights away. It’s an actual mess and I haven’t seen janitors clean the gym in months. Also what is the age requirement to work out at the gym because there are literal children running around as if it’s daycare. Not only can you not use machines because they don’t work, you cannot use the machines because the gym is so packed. I go at different times and still the gym is packed. Is there not a max capacity?? Also, there’s so many different staff people they must hire a new person every day. People are barely at the front and hide at the little desks on the side. All I ask is for a nice gym to workout in. I’m definitely paying enough to get what i’m asking for!!!!! Step up you game Lindy 🙄🙄🙄

This club has been trash as of late. Multiple broken machines or the pins for the machines are missing, rendering most equipment useless. Weights are left everywhere. If there's a spill there's a good chance it'll stay there all day even though there are multiple employees. The locker rooms smell terrible and today there were feces all over the men's locker room. One of the men's bathroom stalls is broken so the wall separating two toilets freely swings back and forth. Definitely a decline since I signed up two years ago and there are no signs of improvement.

Beautiful gym, managed very well. Shane took care of me and my wife and signed us up. He was very friendly and very accomodating.
