Waited over 15 minutes for someone to greet me at the door and be seated. Waited a long time for someone to come to take my order and to be served. Chicken wonton tacos didn't have flavor. Onion rings kinda burnt. I had the whiskey bacon cheese burger, it was big mess piled on a bun. No exciting flavor. Only things that were good was the tall glass of Modelo and the atmosphere. Very disappointed. Wait staff didn't have a positive attitude, weren't thrilled to do their job.

I'm going to try to put this in the most polite way possible. I will not be returning here. When we arrived, the restaurant was not busy at all. There was plenty of staff. However, our service was far from prompt. It took approximately 2 hours for our meal start to finish. The quality of our food was mediocre at best, nothing that my wife and I couldn't make at home easily. During our visit they ran out of shrimp which the manager did his best to substitute for. The manager was polite. Our waitress should have been far more attentive due to the restaurant not being very busy, just felt like she didn't care. I overheard the other table near us making the same comments. We ran out of drinks and had to summon her on multiple occasions. I will not be wasting my money and more importantly my time to return here. Takes way too long for a meal, and I felt more like an inconvenience than a paying customer. Sorry for the negative review, but it's an honest one.

The last time we were here was for my brothers birthday. We drove 25 minutes to get to the restaurant. After walking in, we waited 10 minutes to be seated at the hostess booth. No one showed up. There was a bartender working, but she just kept staring at us as she talked to a customer. Never offered us assistance in any way. We left and ended up ordering Dominos. What a great birthday dinner. We’ll never come back.

I get it,, Short staff. But when the waitresses are just hanging out and talking is frustrating, they probably needed a break. No clean tables, forgot about meal and didn't come out for over 35 minutes after our group was finished eating. I had Fiesta lime chicken. I ended up taking home because we stayed a long time already. Hope they can find more help. Wings are amazing. Our waitress was friendly.

It was ok. The rice on the wife’s fiesta lime chicken was very salty and my fries were really hard once they cooled. My cheeseburger was good. Almost reminded me of a Bob’s Big Boy sandwich. Food and atmosphere was ok.

My sister and I were out and about so she decides she's hungry. I'm not really but I love their French Onion Soup and Garlic Bread Sticks. My soup was such a let down😞 it tasted sour. I tried just the cheese no that's ok. ok just the soup yep that's it. So the waitress took it off and gave me more bread. Cool. Sis said I'm a cheap date. lol. My Sis had the Chic bacon Sandwich with FF. Sandwich was great she said. FF ok. Good portions. Great service and friendly. Stopped in at around 4pm on a Sat. About 10 tables Nice clean. We will be back.

It started out great, but then again, every time we have gone here, something happens. Waitress was nice until I let her know our pasta dish tasted spoiled. She then got snippy. I just asked if she would take a portion of the charge off because we didn't eat it.

They were short handed, but the manager waited on us herself, and her service was fast and excellent. We enjoyed our meals and will be back soon. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone, food is always good.

Ordered the chicken Alfredo. It had almost no sauce and when I pointed this out to my server, she asked if I wanted more sauce. I said yes, got my check and saw a $3 charge for a 3oz portion of sauce(it wasn't even 2oz, I work in kitchens). My pasta was cooked about a week ago.

Got seated right away. And waited on. Food was delicious. Waiter was awesome! And there should be a tip jar at the door for the greeter. He was at his spot the whole time so when people came in they got seated. And got the tables cleaned right after people left. We will be coming back

Ordered a brownie nothing like the picture. Highly disappointed hardly any brownie to eat. Got to go. No silverware to even be able to eat the ice cream.

Kenna was my fiance and i's bartender/server and she was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. She made our evening! Yes maybe the food could've been hotter, but she made up for that with her beautiful personality and customer service. Tim the Asst. Manager also stopped at our table to make sure we had a great evening. It was great to see him make his rounds to everyone seated in the restaurant.

Short on staff. Troubles with running credit cards. I overheard that and I thought well I don't have cash on me. But I didn't think too much when I saw the manager working on the machine. Then we had 2 for $30 with a free appetizer.. The Oriental chicken salad was $12.99 each. But if you get the 2 for $30 You're paying $4 extra on the 2 salads, which technically pays for half of the appetizer. Ok. Then it took forever to get our bill.. She 1st gave me somebody else's bill of $46. I said wait a Minute our lunches were 2 for $30 Plus a $3 lemonade which was flat. She said she would bring a new lemonade but never did. Then she gave me the Correct bill and it said $32 for our salads versus $30 on the menu. She has the manager if the prices went up and he said yes but the menu didn't reflect that. Applebee's has always been a go to. But we were really disappointed. Deb T.

Think twice before ordering from this location. What's supposed to be tomato bisque, is not. It's extremely salty and they actually put the croutons in the soup and a lot. It was mushy, salty, and terrible. It was tomato soup not bisque. They call it that to get you to buy it. It's normally my favorite, from.other places. The forgot to give us the chocolate cake too. I ordered the salmon with mashed potatoes and just as terrible. The salmon was so over cooked and dry, I couldn't eat it. The amount of blackened seasoning was beyond to much. Again, went in the trash. Mozzarella sticks were dry and old. Another item in trash. Dog wouldn't even eat them. The shrimp was so fishy, it had to be old and they forgot the cocktail sauce. All together, $60 went in the trash. It's sad because Applebee's used to be good. This location doesn't care what they give their customers. Or the cook needs to be fired. Absolutely disgusting I got the chicken shrimp so over seasoned you can barely eat it. It took 6 minutes just to be asked what we wanted to drink and 5 for them to be brought to us. I do not recommend.

Not good service, but they were pretty busy. Everything took so long, but it was our first visit to this location so maybe its not a normal thing. For example we asked for one soda to be refilled as the food was set down and it came 10+ minutes after we finished eating. I don't like to leave bad reviews but we were there for almost 2 hours for only two people.

Stopped in for a late lunch around 2:30 on a Friday afternoon. Our server was very attentive and our food was pretty good. We enjoyed the fact that it wasn't busy. Nice change of pace!

Took someone who is elderly that we haven’t seen for awhile for a dinner. It wasn’t that many tables (2-3) and food took forever. Spinach and artichoke dip wasn’t well portioned, a whole plate of chips with a little bowl of dip. We had 5 people. It was rather embarrassing. What he ordered (a bowl) was too spicy for him so he didn’t eat much. Riblets were all bones and little splinters of bones. Two of our sirloin and shrimp dinners were both done well (suppose to be med rare) and came out without shrimp. Sent steaks back and waitress said shrimp would come out. Everyone was done eating when the steaks came out so we had to put them in to go containers. What was suppose to be a nice get together and dinner was a embarrassing mess. We haven’t been there in a very long time and I doubt we will be going back again!

I’ve eaten at Applebees in West Bend many many many times… it’s always fantastic and their wings are sooo good! Ordered tonight and there was a small, understandable mistake. You know what they did? Fixed it, apologized, and left me the sweetest note ever! Messing up is life, but I think they handled it so well! I know how awesome you guys are, and tonight you proved it even more. Thank you!

We had a great experience, went before the dinner rush, food was good and fast. Bartender was doubling as our server. By the time we left, after 5:00 there was a waiting line and several more servers working.

My mom and I took my grandma here for her birthday and it was excellent 👍. We all enjoyed our food, the atmosphere was nice(the Packer game was on so can't argue there lol) and our waitress was kind and attentive. She even brought my Grandma a birthday sundae for us to share ☺️

Good food at reasonable prices. Negative customer service experience that should have been resolved with training upfront, but was addressed by a manager at the time it occurred. Our waitress Tiffany charged an arbitrary number to our gift card and put the rest on credit, rather than using the gift card first and charging the remainder to credit. This was clearly a minor training error that could have been addressed professionally. However, when asked about it, she told me it was "my responsibility as the cardholder to specify how much I wanted charged". The shift manager Stephanie was very helpful in ensuring my cards were charged appropriately and addressed the situation with the waitress. 4 stars simply because there clearly needs to be additional training, both in how to perform transactions and how to speak to customers. There's no harm in making a mistake, but professionalism from waitstaff is a bare minimum expectation. Thank you to Stephanie for handling things appropriately.

Im going to be very honest here, about a year ago we went in here and from our service to our food it was the worst dining experience we ever had!! ( ps im a former server myself), at that time i told our so called server to get her manager. Right away this amazing, kind, friendly, funny manager named Tony comes out and we explain everything to him, this man was so upset himself that he bent over backwards to make us happy and assured us he would be talking to our server and the rest of his staff. We were VERY impressed by his attitude, his perfessionalism and his humor. We promised him we would give them another chance. About 6 months later we did and it was somewhat better. Then tonight as my boyfriend and i were deciding where to go for dinner we decided again to give applebees a try. I was really craving that awesome oriental chicken salad!! :). Well here is the kicker.....we were VERY VERY impressed with our server Mel, the bartender Kenna and the on duty manager Tim!! Oh and those two awesome cooks in the back!!. Our service was better then I've received in higher end restaurants, we tried these AMAZING chicken won ton tacos, two new drinks and bf got a mexican bowl that he said was one of the best things he's had to eat in a long time!! I, of course, got my oriental salad and Mel even brought me a tortilla shell to make a wrap! ( they used to have it as a wrap but right now just have the salad). Tim heard what had happened a year ago and even came over to talk to us about it. All three of them were just down to earth, friendly, amazing people that you can tell truly take pride in what they do and want people to leave full and happy!! Well guys, you did it for these two customers so thank you!! Can't wait to see you all again!! To everyone else, go show applebees some love! Its definitely not like it was!! 🥰🥰

Staff always helpful and friendly; good food (the steaks actually ARE quality cuts, and cooked right-on to order). Enjoyable, hifi pop music - not too loud, full bar, sports in the TVs (and never movies), THEY SERVE TIL 11:00pm - including SUNDAYS.

Great food and great atmosphere. Not only was the service great and the staff sweet but the other customers there were friendly and kind which you don't find in many establishments. The staff was very professional but also open to conversation. The manager, Tim, talked to my parents about their jobs and his experience and even gave me life advice about what to do with college. Great place overall.

12 people in the entire place....we ordered the spinach artichoke dip, less then warm when it came out. Our iced tea was on ice but warm when it got to us. My prime rib sandwich tested great just wish the meat would have been on BOTH sides of the bun.....our waiter was good and attentive.

Service was okay/good from the waitress, but put a group of 7 at a very small table when they had plenty of other open ones, we had to move a table to add ourselves. All of the chicken was very over done. One of the dishes was completely missed the gravy. All the condiments were in small disposable containers, which is fine given the current situation we are in, but you got one small 2 ounce container only half full of ketchup for a whole plate of chicken tenders and fries?! I honestly would have rather stayed home to eat and spent less money...

1/5/2020 Arrived around 10pm. We sat down and ordered and food. Drinks were served immediately. However after the first round of drinks the bartender was clueless and didnt ask or notice that we wanted another. Food also came out pretty slow which is understandable because it was late and it was pretty busy .The food was lacking flavor. We ordered a stir fry asked for soy sauce they didnt have it, we also ordered a chicken and shrimp skillet. There was maybe 5 shrimp the size of the size of a dime on my order. i The professionalism from all the waitresses and servers was extremely lacking. At the end of the night they were grabbing each other and running around while there was multiple table still seated in the restaurant.

This has always been our go to spot for work after a very long day but the last few times we were there, the bar tender has been extremely slow, we have waited over 15 minutes for drinks when it’s not busy in there at all and the last two times, the manager has actually come to apologize and take our food order. We typically sit at the bar since we can get seating right away in the event they are a little busier but as a bar tender myself my eyes are always alert when new guests are approaching the bar. The same bartender we’ve had these last three times rarely looks up from what he’s doing, he’s always head down while making drinks and will buzz right past you.

We waited almost an hour for our food! When we finally got our food it was as if it was sitting for a half an hour, our son said McDonald's would have tasted better. Never again will I spend money at Applebee's

This spot never disappoints. They have fresh food for affordable rates, there no long wait even when the spot is loaded.

Need to get back to the basics and train the wait staff on being attentive to customers. Great service trumps average food and puts more tips in the bucket. You can do it!

Food has improved since our last visit. Update Feb, 2020. We waited 20 minutes for a table when there were clearly many open. Staff standing around instead of cleaning tables. Sirloin steak with shrimp was pretty good. I however could not believe how dirty the dining area was. Food, napkins and straw wrappers all over the floor. Employees who were not busy, including the manager were standing by the front door throwing pencils into a cup. (Playing games) If the dining area is that dirty I am afraid to see what the kitchen looks like. Will not be returning to this Applebees.

The service was horrible. They were understaffed or the staff quality wasn't there and our server was definitely suffering because of it. The food itself wasn't that great either . The ribs were over done and steak was undercooked. It took forever for our server to come back to at least give us boxes even though we saw about 4 servers standing by the host stand doing nothing and the manager dancing around instead of checking on their customers. Would never go there again.
