This required more than just selecting a new setting as I needed an arthritic shank to be able to remove the ring. Eric helped me tremendously with my first ever purchase of a piece from Tapper's. He was collected, eloquent, kind, respectful, and most importantly knowledgeable. He gave me a hundred options to choose from (giving me lots of info regarding the dainty jewelry I was looking for and the rainbow trunk show) and never pressed me to choose. Eric was easily the most down to Earth person I've met in a jewelry store. Always an amazing experience with Eugene at Tapper’s! He really has the best service. He is quick to respond, always accommodating, will make sure you get your jewelry repairs ASAP, and is so personable. My only complaint about Tapper’s is that I had a broken clasp on a bracelet and they price they wanted to charge was really expensive relative to the bracelet’s price. Highly impressed with the customer service experience at Tapper's. The staff went above and beyond for me, especially Lia. She was so understanding and supportive regarding an issue I was having and assisted me in securing a great solution. I had an incredible experience with Alec at the West Bloomfield Tappers. Long story short, I was let down by another jewelry store the day before I was supposed to pick up a ring for our proposal that I had been planning for months. I was only planning on checking out the Tudor and Grand Seiko watches Tapper's carried, but I ended up having many enjoyable conversations about watches with Alec and George, who work there. I can tell Alec and George are true watch enthusiasts - who may wear multiple watches throughout the day, have wonderful watch collections, and spend time researching and appreciating watch designs. They never sounded pushy or tried to sell me anything. Instead, they just browsed the watches with me and shared their stories and knowledge of those watches. What added to my experience was that they have a bar and a beverage menu inside the store. I purchased a limited-edition Grand Seiko GMT watch, which is absolutely fantastic. I won't hesitate to come back to the store and chat with Alec and George over a drink. 5 stars.

Tapper's Jewelry is now my new jeweler. Been a widower for some years now, and held onto my wife's wedding ring. My young adult children did not want their mom's wedding ring, and I had no intentions on just having diamonds in an unwanted band simply sitting and collecting dust. The Designer "Steven Tapper", designed an exquisite ring for me, to include my and my wife's diamonds, right at his desk, so I was already impressed with how his mind worked, based on our 20 minute conversation, that produced his layout results. I initially felt that the cost was a bit high, but I took that chance. The customer service, attention, and end result of my new ring, combining both my and my deceased wife's wedding diamonds made it sincerely worth every dollar spent. Recently I had a "special birthday." My husband took me to Tapper's and I selected a beautiful gold and sterling silver necklace by jewelry designer, David Yurman. It was unique because the chain on the necklace was totally adjustable to any length I wanted. I am so happy with my new necklace. The outstanding customer service at Tapper's make it my "go to" store when my husband or I am looking for something special.

Deanna was wonderful. I used the text platform to communicate with her initially which made it easy and then I came into the store, she knew what I wanted, she was kind and patient. As far as customer service is concerned Deanna and the entire team were on top of it. I think I was asked if I wanted a water or a beverage three times while Deanna wrapped my gift. I have to tell you the biggest gem in your store is Lia! I've had many salespeople, but she is by far the best. I have a hard time walking so she gave me a chair and brought the jewelry to me to look at, and when I explained to her what I was looking for she brought me the exact pieces I described. I can’t recommend this store highly enough. I came here because I noticed a speck of dust in my Tudor timepiece. It was a minor thing, but once it catches your eye it’s hard to not see it. The watch technician Jalil immediately helped me inspect it and confirmed that they could help but it would take a week or so with their current backlog of repairs/services. Today happens to be my birthday and I explained that I’d like to wear it today so I can come back another time to get it serviced. Jalil went above and beyond to ensure that it was done within the hour! I’ve never had a better experience at a jewelry store. I was offered coffee and freely browsed until the repair was done, it was one of the best ways to spend time. I can’t thank Jalil and Suzanne enough for their time and care. Really made me feel special, will be a returning customer.

I was cheated by Tappers on a 21 kt. Gold bracelet . They gave me $350 and told me that they were going above and beyond for me. I had 5 bracelets all alike that were my grandmother's from the past. I next went to Troy Jewelers on Rochester Road and was given $400 each time that I sold 1 as I needed money from time to time. Jacob and Tony the owner's of Troy Jewelers told me that these were 21kt. each and treated me with respect. Don't SELL anything to TAPPERS.
