Always fun to sit and play some board games here with friends. They also have a nice vegan burger if you need the option.

Amazing board gaming hub and café, never have a bad time going here, all the people who work here are friendly and knowledgeable, and always keen to answer any questions you may have. The murals on the wall are fitting and well done, they are also a WPN premium store and thus have promotions on MTG, but they also have other TCGs avaliable. You may also rent boardgames to play here while you indulge in a snack and a hot drink from the café

A great place to eat and drink with a wide selection of boardgames for beginners and pros. Lovely, friendly atmosphere, very relaxing with good coffee, beer and a record shop, what more could you want.

If you're looking for a place to go with family, friends or even by yourself this is the place to go. You won't find a place more welcoming than Asgard Games. Staff are always at hand to answer any questions and Vince has a fountain of knowledge to pass on regarding any games, table-top or card based. Food and drink available which is delicious and well priced!

Great place to chill out and play games. They have a huge collection to choose from, updating regularly. Not a lot of food choice but there's a bar. They have bands on sometimes, as long as you like indie/rock music. Quiz nights, too. The last one was on Starwars and there was another on Harry Potter. I recommend the hot chocolate, it's served in a jar, I'm easily pleased 😋.

What a lovely place this is! Really nice staff who are approachable and fun. Great selection of board games, miniature paints, wargaming scenery & tons more. Food: We had the nachos and the were GOD TIER. So good and not oily at all. Tons of flavour and a fresh taste. Drinks: Great selection of soft drinks, alcoholic (draught too!) & hot drinks. Games: £2 gets you access to all their games, of which there are a LOT. categorised by complexity and even complete with their own menu to help you find one you might be interested in. We played a great trio in the 4 hours we were there for. We will absolutely be back regularly and I recommend everyone else gives them a look too, you will have a fantastic time. Hopefully we can get a regular group going there soon and play some campaign & legacy games! We had 5 drinks, 2 lots of nachos with pulled pork, some pumpkin bites & a doughnut and it came to £37 including the board games charge. Great price for 4 hours of entertainment including food!

Fabulous time! Booked a table and stayed for a few hours. A whole library of games to take back to your table and play. Food was good and everyone was very friendly. Will definitely be going back, loved it.

Update to say this excellent game space is still fantastic. The staff are so friendly, families and friends can pay a small charge to play and try out board games. The food is nice and the serious big gamers play on boards out the back. A really important part of Walsall community, oh and the loos are super clean! All you need ❤️ now there's beer and hot food, and a massive selection for gamers from casual to very serious gamers.

Excellent venue and fantastic staff. I ran an event here the first weekend in October and the staff could not have been more helpful. A huge thanks to Tom, Vinnie, Ray and all the front of house crew for the excellent service they provided for our players

A delightful venue in the centre of Walsall. Attended for a weekend gaming event - the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive! The cafe serves great food and drinks, there's ample gaming space, lovely high ceilings, and clean and tidy throughout. Also has a newly-added record store, which looks well-stocked, and a gaming shop with a good selection of board games and miniatures. Would come back in a heartbeat!

The best gaming space in the West Midlands: clean, fun, and the food is good too. One of those rare gems where a lot of things have come together and been done very well.

Awesome place, I still think the cost of the food is a little high but I'm on benefits so prices are different for me. However I have tried their £6 mac and cheese fries and they are the best I've had in decades, albeit sometimes the mac n cheese part is not hot enough to my taste. While I cant afford their £9 burger I've seen people in by group with it and it looks amazing! Perhaps they could introduce one or more budget foods.

What can i say about asgard games other than it is a truely exceptional venue. With food that quite literally will make you drool. The board game selection is amazing and the service is excellent. Booking a table couldnt be easier from the website or at the cafe counter, and i have to say the drinks on offer are very good and the mead is a real treat. I use this store at least once a month for my main Dungeons and Dragons campaign which we have never once had an issue. I cannot recommend this store more.

I visited Asgard Games mostly for the shop section and enjoyed browsing the board games and other gaming goodies they had in stock. I definitely would like to return in the future to visit the game space / cafe. Friendly staff and overall a nice visit.

Brilliant place. Great food, good selection of games and plenty of space. Toilets were nice too which I find is a rarity for gaming spaces lol! Staff friendly and helpful on the phone & in store

What's not to like! The staff are friendly, there's a massive selection of games in the library, from casual to complex, the staff are happy to help you choose games if you're unsure, there's lots of space to spread out so it doesn't feel cramped. The food and drinks are good and reasonably priced.

What a great place! Really nice atmosphere, very welcoming, friendly staff. The food is so good! Amazing American style burgers, that are real patties, with fresh salad and brioche buns. Highly recommended! Also, their Mexican food is also super good! Burritos, taco's and quesadillas! Excellent!!! Please, come try this place, you won't regret it!!!
