This
park
is
very
nice
and
could
be
outstanding
if
a
walking
path
and
handicap
access
extended
beyond
the
upper
parking
lot
to
the
picnic
pavilion.
The
lower
part
of
the
park
along
Ashbridge
Street
has
a
very
large
baseball
field
that
is
well
maintained
with
bleachers
and
two
picnic
tables.
In
the
upper
part
along
Hoopes
Lane
there
is
a
smaller
field
with
a
backstop
that
would
be
good
for
wiffleball
and
kickball.
The
park
has
some
play
equipment
but
not
a
full
playground
set.
It
has
a
weird
back
to
back
basketball
setup
that
makes
playing
a
basketball
game
impossible.
In
addition
to
the
picnic
pavilion
there
are
several
picnic
tables
and
barbecues
scattered
in
the
upper
park.
The
park
has
restrooms
and
lots
of
open
play
area.
The
park
has
four
well
maintained
tennis
courts
along
Locust
Lane.
The
park
is
over
16
acres
of
land
and
with
many
great
trees
throughout
the
park
that
would
be
enhanced
by
a
walking
trail
for
the
community
to
use.
