Our experience with Lakeview Surgery Center was great. All of the staff who attended to our family were professional, caring, competent, and attentive. Our nurse, Amy, at the clinic was excellent. She was proactive with our insurance, helping us avoid delays in surgery. Cindy, our nurse at the facility, was positively amazing. Very kind and a such a welcoming person to bring us into the procedure. Our anesthesiologist and our doctor (Dr. Stevenson) were both fantastic. We were very pleased with this facility.

Update: A few folks reached out to us but have taken no action. The wife is having surgery again in a few weeks and we specifically have requested another location for that to take place. We have 100% taken our business elsewhere. ____ The on-site staff are great however we will never work with Associated Anesthesioligists again and this surgery center only works with them. The wife is having surgery in September and we have opted to go elsewhere just to get away from Associated. We reported numerous billing issues and went to the administration for Lakeview and nothing was done in regard to their predatory billing practices. They refuse to send bills, or claim they did, then file a small claim to collect and then want paid for their trunk slammer attorney and a process server who will dent your front door beating on it because clearly you're ignoring her when you aren't home. If they would send a proper bill - they would get PAID. Apparently Iowa law says they don't have to.

I just had to share my amazing experience here at this center today. My procedure was breast reduction and, I have never meet such amazing people in a very stressful situation for me. I’ve been wanting this surgery since I was about 12 years old, and was very very VERY nervous (cried a little bit). They really made everything so easy and comfortable they did nothing but make sure I felt good and I was full prepared and informed about my surgery today! My anesthesiologist (didn’t catch his name) was fantastic had my out like a light ,which was amazing, and talked me through the whole thing and chatted with me up with life stuff so I was distracted. Kathrine Billue, my surgeon, did a fantastic job totally under promised over delivered. Not even been a day and I can already tell I’m gonna love it! Thank u all so much I couldn’t be happier with the results and the treatment!!!

Find an alternative surgery center. Their anesthesiologist like other reviews have stated won't bill you and they sue you when they won't send a bill to be paid. Find a different surgery center.

This is Berry Ross, using my partner's google account. I had a great experience for a hernia repair surgery here in September 2020. My surgeon was Dr. Jeffrey Dietzenbach and he and staff were very thorough, informative, and personable. Just want to report experiencing wonderful results from the surgery. Great job, thank you!

Was supposed to have surgery there in two weeks. Got a call from them stating I have a bill from ten years ago. Um thats news to me. Said if I didn't pay it I can't have surgery done there. I don't have that much money, I'm on disability. I asked if I could do a payment plan. Nope you can't has to be paid in full. Didn't even tell me what the bill was for. I had to call back to get the information from a different billing lady. Said a doctor I don't remember having. Just plan rude the whole time like I dodged the bill. Stated it's in collections, I know the agency I have dealt with them before. So I called them, come to find out on the billing they had my address put in wrong. So Lakeview never sent me a bill!!!! So I am getting treated like dirt for their errors and have to pay almost $600 in interest and fees from the last ten year's. Find a different place for your medical care and if you can't get a print it out before hand off your medical bill so you have it. They are slimy!!!

Every single staff member, from the front desk, to the nurses, to the surgeon and anesthesiologist, was pleasant and comforting. My daughter had her tonsils and addenoids removed and we were nervous initially. However, the amazing staff made for a great experience!

My son had surgery for Deviated Septem this morning. The staff both front and back of thous staff amazing the surgeon Dr.Bertroche did an amazing job with my son and mrs Linda up frount went above and beyond. She even gave me her husband donut.. thanks Linda. Mrs Cindy my sons nurse one of the kindest Nuses that I have ever encountered. The whole staff has a had a kind way of making you like we where apart the family..I am so grateful for care and love my son and I both received today. Thank you all.. 💗
