When I moved to Fargo, I initially went to West 13th Salon to get my lashes done by Margee! During one of my lash appointments I was talking about my issues with my hair and she recommended making an appointment with her for a consultation! Margee has now been doing my hair for almost a year, she does an amazing job and is very personable. My hair has never looked so healthy using their products! Jessica was PHENOMENAL! She was so thorough in her consultation - by the end of it, I really felt she knew exactly what I wanted down to the minor hints and hues in the color. She knew all of my hair concerns and what I wanted to avoid. I asked that she match my dark brown roots to my blonde ends that were sun-dyed from last summer, and do it in a way that wouldn’t grow out without any stark lines. She was somehow able to get an EXACT color match and tone without needing to dye the ends of my hair. I still don’t know how she did it - it’s like she read my mind! Her end result looked like it could have grown out of my head that way. Jessica also took the time to style it how I normally would. I knew my hair would look good after I styled it myself. On top of it, Jessica was such a lovely person to talk with. I never felt a lull in conversation through the entire appointment. Best hair appointment I’ve ever had!

I had Olivia cut and color my hair she was amazing! She asked me questions and helped me decide what colors work best. I love the way my hair turned out

Jess is amazing! I went in for a lived-in blonde look and she NAILED it! Also, the shampoo/toner/conditioner part was heavenly! Loved the massage! Will be coming back!

I went in to get my hair cut, I didn’t want it to be super short, my hair was already kind of short as is. I saw Amanda and she was very nice, however after my haircut I was unsatisfied for the price I paid ($100). I had a reference picture and it’s very different from the outcome, and it was just a hair cut…the cut is uneven and very choppy. I reached out to them about being unhappy with my hair, and they told me I could come in and get it fixed. I told them it was already so short that I really didn’t want to risk getting it fixed and cut shorter. I asked them if I could receive some sort of refund or partial refund to which they said no. Overall, I would say that it wasn’t a great experience, although my hairdresser was very nice, a haircut should be simple and easy. I think that they could have done more to make this right for me, especially considering I just moved here a few months ago and I was looking for a trustworthy hairdresser and she was my choice. Would not go back.

I have been coming here for hair services for the past 5 years. The staff are wonderful and I appreciate the skill and detail I have been treated with ✨✨ I also love their products and care/concern for the environment :)

Going to a salon is always risky - you give the power of your look into a stylists hands. West 13th Salon is incredible when it comes to services and customer care. I was amazed that they walked me through every step and even explained how to use certain products (life-saving). I recently got a balayage service done by Olivia and she did a phenomenal job! I will be back and I’ll be telling friends to head on over as well✨

I am very impressed with this salon. I was worried because I have never tried it before but their online booking was so easy I decided to give it a try. The lady did a quick consultation, listened, and gave suggestions. My favorite haircut ever! She made my hair look so pretty and did the cut down to get rid of split end shafts! She curled it just like I liked and was super communicative, friendly, and smart!!!
