Nice spot but the food wasn't the best. We ordered fillet steak which was very small, pumpkin tagliatelle were lovely but were floating in butter and heavy cream sauce, sea bass fish also was very oily too much butter& oil, heavy cream in every single food we ordered. No vegan or vegetarian option also if you have lactose intolerance there is no option either. 3starts as the wings were nice otherwise I do not recommend 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️

I went here for Afternoon Tea on the weekend and had a lovely time. Food was fresh and yummy especially the scones! There was about 4 variations from the original afternoon tea menu which didn't bother me but if you were a picky eater, I do think someone should have informed us before we ordered.

Myself and my Mam went to Goodwins for afternoon tea. Louise the manager looked after us very well and made us feel very special which added to the whole experience of afternoon tea. I would recommend afternoon tea at Goodwins.

Probably the best burger I've had in Ireland without a doubt. Just right! The wings were the right size portion and the sauce on the right side of spicy. Salmon was baked to perfection with the correct complimentary veggies and a sizely portion of mash potatoes. We will definitely be back! ❤️

Great food great staff. Recent trip the food was good. Only issue we had was the website showed the Sunday offer, it showed 19 euro for 2 courses on the website with 5 euro extra for Sunday roast and a bit extra again steak. When we got there it was 25 for 2 courses and 6 euro for Sunday roast and 11 euro for a steak! Big jump in price and a shock when we were at the table.

Delicious night out. The steak was cooked to perfection and the wine recommended to go along was as perfect. Very impressed with the new change, beautiful ornate and cozy atmosphere , the staff is very friendly and extra shout out to Louise!

Went for dinner her last Saturday, good was absolutely disappointing. Out of 4 starters, 3 were prawns which were dodgy didn't look like fresh prawns they were 'mushy' inside. 2 people ordered the same thing off the menu but they didn't receive the same thing on their plate, how is that possible? Asked for medium lamb came in rare with blood in the middle. It took ages for drinks to arrive. In fairness they did apologize,but that doesn't make up for it. Also because its an open kitchen we kept getting dirty looks from the chef. I felt as if the food was rushed, chef wanted to get the food out as quickly as possible,but it's the quality that's important not the time. So overall very disappointed as we were really looking forward to out meal, and it wasn't cheap either,paid over 200 euro for 4 people. Not sure if I'll be back anytime soon.

Great service, atmosphere and food. Our first time there but we'll be back. The Arancini was so good.

We have gone back to this beautiful restaurant food is top quality. Atmosphere and staff are very good at there job. But I have yo say Louise Byrne manager is an absolute lady she will go out of her way to make your evening very special. Guys try out this restaurant even go in and see the service Louise provides for you I grantee you eill not be disappointed. She funny, and brings a great atmosphere with her staff and customers which is lovely. Thanks Louise for everything Lorna and Mark.

We had a nice meal at Goodwin's Steakhouse. He ordered off the early bird menu which makes things a bit cheaper although steak is an eleven euro supplement. Our starters were Ox tail arancini and hot Wings. The wings were really good, my wife enjoyed the arancini. We both had steak and they were good as you might expect from a Steakhouse! We would recommend you give it a try if you are in the Drogheda area.

Delicious food and very friendly staff ☺️. The prices are reasonable. It gets very busy so you have to book in advance and can only reserve the table for 2 hours. However I will be back to try more of their food ☺️

We had Sunday lunch today , tomato soup was very nice big serving with very nice brown bread mains were turkey and ham and roast beef both were really good with creamy mash and lots of fresh veg. Was a really nice experience with desserts , very warm staff that couldn’t do enough. Well worth the journey from Dublin made our day .

First of all, I’d like to commend the extremely friendly staff for following all of the COVID guidelines- they were all fitted out with PPE and everything was very clean. I would feel very safe if I were to return when restaurants reopen! The atmosphere was great as it was lovely and peaceful and the decor was very modern and stylish. The Christmas music in the background was a nice addition to the evening! The food itself was lovely. We chose a deal with Groupon for 4 people which allowed us to have a 2 course meal with 1 bottle of wine per 2 people for an excellent price. With the deal, I was able to get the Goodwins Burger which was delicious. I also got a Chocolate Brownie which was equally as good. Overall, I would definitely recommend a visit here, we will certainly return!

We went for fathers Day , the meal was fantastic, wings , steaks and the sherry trifle was to die for, the waiting staff a young man and the manager Louise could not of been more helpful, amazing service across the board . We'll definitely be back

Food was nice. Staff was standoffish towards my family , we waited 15 minutes for a menu , 20 for a drinks menu. Our order was taken very abruptly and hurriedly, . Definitely won’t be returning
