A
truly
awful
place
to
live.
I
didn't
have
the
misfortune
of
experiencing
the
Beckon
Collective
as
a
renter,
but
was
a
frequent
visitor
and
spent
many
nights
there
with
friends.
The
place
looks
'nice',
but
was
built
so
incredibly
poorly
that
there's
practically
no
soundproofing
between
apartments
beyond
thin
drywall,
however
management
tries
to
spin
it.
If
you
like
hearing
your
neighbor's
alarm
in
the
morning,
phone
conversations,
or
your
neighbor's
tv
or
dog,
this
is
the
place
for
you!
Many
times,
there
were
residents
in
the
courtyard
well
past
posted
hours
(as
in
well
past
midnight
or
even
after
1am)
drunk,
screaming,
and
partying.
Management's
response?
"Call
the
police",
which
is
ridiculous
and
outside
of
law
enforcements'
jurisdiction.
It's
management's
responsibility
to
deal
with
noise
complaints,
and
they've
failed
admirably.
As
other
reviewers
have
said,
it's
a
frat
house
-
it's
impossible
to
enjoy
weekends
there
due
to
residents
partying
and
screaming
in
the
hallways.
It
is
literally
impossible
to
sleep.
Under
the
old
management
company,
the
building
was
spotless.
Now,
the
common
areas
aren't
maintained
-
the
carpets
are
stained
pretty
much
everywhere,
there
are
patched
(and
unpainted)
holes
in
the
walls,
broken
amenity
items,
and
the
dumpsters
in
the
parking
garage
are
constantly
overflowing
to
the
point
where
it
smells
god
awful
when
walking
past
them
to
the
elevators.
If
you
value
your
sanity
stay
far
away
from
this
place.
**Edit:
I
agree
with
the
other
reviewer
who
said
that
mgmt
was
basically
bribing
people
to
leave
five
star
reviews.
Don't
trust
them.
I
thank
God
every
day
because
I
don't
have
to
even
visit
that
place
anymore.
