Truly 1 STAR. 5 for attention. Was at a friend's birthday party, was served the driest cake that I have ever had. The absolute worst. Come to find out it wasn't what was even ordered. So, we got a sample of what is served as a vanilla cake with a super sweet frosting 8 inch 2 layer for $40. Next day my friend goes to the Louisa's to tell them of there mistake and Louisa herself told my friend that was the order. No, it wasn't because before it was served the birthday girl said what the cake was going to be she ordered it herself and spoke to the son also telling him what she ordered. With a bit of an attitude Louisa offered a new cake no charge. It was undercooked and doughy. Don't waste your money.

Thought about having some Fried dough but not sure who served it. I have to say that is really awesome fried dough and I had both sauce and powder sugar and I felt like I was at a carnival. Excellent service and nice atmosphere. Definitely going back!!

Just had lunch here, it's a classic Italian deli with prime location right by the ocean. The lady inside was very sweet & welcoming The rice balls are huge & absolutely to die for, stuffed with meat, peas and cheese with a generous drizzle of marinara. I'm not big on sweets myself so I didn't get any of the bakery items however my partner got a mini cheesecake from here which he said was out of this world. We'll definitely be back!

Family oriented and delicious bakery goods. I went in there before valentine's day and the son was boasting about their cheesecakes and there's reason! Told me jokingly I would come back and get my sisters birthday cake here in a few days and I did! This time I got ahold of Louise and she made it really easy to communicate put alot of detail in the cake and finished and called me exactly at the time she said she would. ALSO: the cake was alot cheaper than what I would have thought for it looking and tasting so good. I got to try their wings next! Support local businesses especially ones like Louise's that give you that personal and friendly feel we used to have!

We are regulars with the young grandkids. The Best subs, fresh and made with great care, apple crumb to die for, great homefries with breakfast and we love the italian flag, pignoli and cake pops!

The cake was good but I did not get the white chocolate mousse and it was supposed to be two layer and i ask for the happy birthday in rainbow colors

I ordered an 8 inches Italian Rum cake for my dad's 80th birthday. They made an 8 inches Italian cream cake instead which cost $72! They had also left a message to pick up the cake at a later time on a wrong cell phone #, so not only did they write down wrong cell phone # but more importantly, the wrong cake order was taken. No apologies, nothing! Cake was dry and so not worth the $$$! I will never go back there again! I looked at prices of other items, and they are all high!

I lived a good part of my life in West Haven.. 30 plus yrs ago..We used to have a bakery called Romano's in Milford.. Well I spoke with Louise WONDERFUL Lady! She made My Valentine's Day gifts with that Italian LOVE My Nona did.. I can't thank y'all enough ❤️. Florida is nice but the food will never compare to HOME 🏡. There Fried Dough Is Delicious And They Give You Speedy Service. They Don't Sell Pizza, But Nevertheless Their Atmosphere Is Nice And Done Up. And They Just Got Remodeled. I Founded Louise's Homemade Food And Baked Goods More Than 30+ Years Ago.

Excellent food and service everyone is treated like family! Google has their Sunday hours listed as open until 6 PM but they actually close at 2 Pm in case you decide to go on a Sunday!

As a Canadian, I have no words to describe the heaven that is the tender work of Mr. Mike Martone and his family recipes. One bite out of his tiramisu and you can tell he respects his mother's legacy and puts so much love into his baking. A true chef with so many great stories and talents, please give Mike a visit if you want to indulge in some of the finest desserts and sandwiches you will ever taste. You will not be disappointed.

My girlfriend and I popped in so I could get a slice of pizza, as I didn't realize they were a bakery, not a pizzeria. The owners were kind enough to direct us to a nearby pizzeria. Later in the day, I came back to get some pastries to snack on since the owner were so nice. The food was wonderful.
