Unsanitary, not clean and extremely rude staff. Came in for a turkey burger. Was overcharged. I watched workers (not pictured) with NO gloves and no hair nets talk on phone, ring up customers at cash register then take his disgusting hand and stick it in a cup full of soda to remove ice so he could ice cream for a root beer float. I will not be back and I'm calling the health department and reporting to the BBB.

The turkey club sandwich is not quite a club but more like a BLT with Turkey. It had very little bacon and almost no turkey. It consisted of mostly lettuce. For $13.29 we expected better. We come here for burgers and love them. The staff are also great. Updated April 2022: The fries have changed. They are now thinner with less flavor. Veggie burger was half the thickness than previously.

The food isn't over the top but definitely hit the spot. I was at one of the bars close by and stopped in to grab a quick bite and this place did the job perfectly. Such a cool atmosphere and quick service. I'll definitely come here again. I love the old school diner vibes.

What can you really say? This place has been around for ages. Great burger, simple, cooked just right, never frozen. Fries and onion rings very good. Pastrami melt to die for. Must try fried zucchini. Pretty good amount of parking but people seems to struggle with driving in and around the restaurant, be careful. Highly recommended.

We had the quick dinner in the very late night. I’m so glad they open so late and still very busy. Good business. We had the avocado burger and chicken burger. Served very fast. They still have the outdoor seating area. Since they had the full house so we chose to sit outside. Both of the burgers were very good. Juicy and good size. It’s very reasonable!

Really liked it here, even though we took our meal to go. The burgers here are super juicy and pretty decently sized but they’re also a bit watery (?) can’t really explain it. The service was great and we loved the overall aesthetic of the restaurant. Loved the fries, they were perfectly crispy and just the right amount of salty. I liked it :)

I was able to order a few items off of the menu. I got a turkey burger, hamburger, and fries. Everything tasted very average, nothing to write to home about. It tasted pretty bland (lacked seasoning/flavor). The place seemed somewhat busy but in my humble opinion, it had to do more with the location (accessible) and not because folks were rushing in due to its great tasting food. I will definitely not be coming back at all.

Had the cheeseburger and it was OK. Nothing special,to it. It was just a normal,ordinary Cheeseburger. Didn’t have much flavor. Nice place and the customer service was OK.

The egg and bacon sandwich was the best ever! The chili cheese fries are sized perfectly for sharing. My companion loved her hamburger -- medium, just like she wanted! Good prices, great service, patio and inside dining at a convenient location with on-site parking.

Place has so much unused potential. The pics online make it look much nicer than it is. It could be a very cute 50s style diner but it's just a cheap menu full of frozen fried food. Place was not very clean or kept up. Wish people would take pride in their companies, makes it hard to shop small business when they don't seem to care. Wish them luck and if they ever remodel I might come back.

Don't waste your time nothing to write home to Mom about the eggs were runny and they gave me one pancake I'm glad because it was about 3 in thick soaked up the one and only little pancake syrup they gave me. I think I should have ordered it for dine-in not take out. Plus it was $15 for a breakfast that was not really that good.

Well prepared American fast food with a large breakfast selection and Mexican grill. The burger and fries were high marks on a common dish, but I suspect-- based on the size of the menu and a glimpse of my neighbor's quesadilla-- that there are hidden gems away from the usual suspects. The venue includes tables and bar seating, the decor is simple, and the booths come with a tiny jukebox that left me puzzling whether to walk like an Egyptian or play a pretty woman.

I would never spend another dime here. I went to buy my mother a tuna melt with fries when my order was called I asked for ketchup he throw them in the bag on top of the fries. Which was very disrespectful unsanitary his attitude was not exceptible he had a bald head with a goatee. The sandwich had a hair on it. Won't ever be back i work at cedars sinai medical center we order lunch from here time to time. I will be telling my coworkers. I see the owner replies to this review. Well first of all it was never offered to replace my fries second you are guilty just by the way you replied to the review. I would never eat nothing from here again and I'm pretty sure mine is not the first complaint about you're employee. Look at the reviews about hair in the food?. Kick rocks

First time trying Astro burger and pleasantly surprised! Came here for the first time and was helped by 1 work. Amalia. She is very attentive to my order and made sure it was correct. If it weren't for these 1 employe I don't think I would go back, Because the environment outside smelled very bad and was not pleasant at all

Cheap eats - decent food quality that I can't deny that makes it a good deal. The fries, onion rings, zucchini fries were tasty & not oily. Battered fish wasn’t oily neither but has more batter than I personally prefer. My guy loved the veggie burrito! Good portions for the price & fast friendly service ~ will come again

This is always a great spot with fresh cooked diner food. Fast service with indoor and outdoor seating. Prices are reasonable. The breakfast burrito here is enough for 2 meals unless you are very hungry. No fancy ingredients but tastes great. Only thing is this place does not have any salsa it makes, it's Tapatio or Tabasco only.

use to live right down the street from the place and was a regular. live a few miles away now, but still a regular, though now a monthly regular as opposed to a weekly regular. the food is awesome, the variety of menu items astounding and everyone who has ever worked there seem to be friendly, patient and helpful. prices are a little on the high side, but generous portions and always delicious.

Ordered to-go, place can get busy for lunch. Had a steak sandwich, fish and chips and a pastrami. The steak sandwich was good but the meat was tough, it was a solid cut of meat which I did like. The bread was perfectly toasted too. The fish and chips were OK, they give you more fries than you'd know what to do with (maybe just my case!). The food was OK but for the price I'd consider looking elsewhere. They have parking on the side and around back, and patio seating. Cool vibes if your looking to stop by maybe get a milkshake.

We’ve come here many times over the years that’s we’ve visited LA. This place is a charming, no frills joint in the heart of West Hollywood that serves delicious burgers, fries and much more. We both ordered the Avocado Bacon Cheeseburger on a lettuce wrap and it was so delicious!

Great food, fills you up. It has a retro feel to it. The avocado bacon 🥓 burger 🍔 is just as delicious as it sounds. Nice big juicy fills you up and the onion rings are awsome.

The cheeseburgers are delicious the strawberry milkshakes are yummy. This place is so much better than in n out the meat just takes so good. Coming from a person who loves in n out. Astro burger is a go to.

I love diner food! Diners and cafes are the only eating establishments where approaching a stranger to ask if you can sit with them is not gonna generate the disgusted and offensive attitudes that people get when you approach them at say, a Black Angus or, a Chillies. Astro-burger is this type of environment. Outdoor seating under a heavily shaded patio awning, lots of seats and tables. Large menu of actually cooked and actually delicious foods. Staff is great, hard workers, always active in there.

Great burgers. Chili fries were delicious. Large menu they serve breakfast too. Everything is separate so total is pretty large. Worth it I say. Outside dining. Located in great spot with shade.

Great place, great food. About the only place open past 9 p.m. on a school night, which seemed odd for this thriving area. In any case, this was my idea of an old fashion LA hamburger stand that you might see in the movies being made just up the road.

Yea the food is always great and nostalgic but the attitudes are disgusting. I called in to place a phone order with my husband and wanted clarity of the chili was only beef or an option for turkey chili which is a plausible question, the girl on the phone either just wanted to rush us off the phone or didn’t understand why I would ask that question and answered beef like I was dumb. She’ll understand if she starts having health problems in the near future and receive the same energy when having to ask a question about food options or ingredients Get y’all customer service together if you don’t want to work there and feel a question is dumb or your too backed-up and can’t work fast enough while answering a question to the people keeping your location open for all these years then child don’t work there.
