I made reservations for specifically for an inside table prior to us traveling to LA. When we arrived, the hostess stated there was only a table outside available, when there were many open tables inside. She sat us at the worst table, possibly the worst spot I have ever sat at in my entire life! My boyfriend's chair was on a slope, there were wires all around us and the dead flowers on the table. The server took forever, we nay have seen her 3 times the whole night. When asked for sparkling or flat water, we were brought a bottle of water, so just make sure to state tap water. We were having drinks, too, so there wasn't really a need for us to have bottle water. The hostesses for constantly on their phones, the restroom was disgusting. We were dressed up for a nice dinner and we might as well have gone in our pajamas because that it how we were treated. When we gave our server our honest opinion, all she brought us was 2 glasses of champagne. Seriously? No apology from management, nothing! I worked in the restaurant industry for years, and that experience was unacceptable. I am pretty understanding, but geez, it was bad. Never again! Don't waste your money! Tom Tom was much better!

Once again, if you like Vanderpump Rules you will love SUR. Online reservations make it easy to dine. We went with the steak and whole fish. The food was above average and worth every penny for the typical tourist in town. Interior is one of a kind. The detailed decoration in every room is extravagant. Service was fantastic and friendly. We didn't see Lisa but still fun to be sitting in the same room where they film the TV show. Cheers!

We went there to celebrate a milestone - reservations made months in advance, with the expectation that it would top a beautiful weekend. It ended up being flat. The decor is tasteful and eclectic, especially the interesting chandeliers. The food is palatable, but not memorable, which may account for the darker than needed lighting - if you can’t see your food your expectations are lower. The drinks were not great - they were pretty to look at, but not great. The noise level made it impossible to not add to it by talking more loudly in order to be heard over the other noise. Our server was nice, and friendly (this is a plus, which is why 3 stars are given instead of two). Overall, it did not live up to all of the hype we had heard.

Such a nostalgic place to be if you are a fan of Bravo Housewives series. Really appreciate the super friendly staff (Hanna) and beautiful setting. Really loved the secret garden feel. Unfortunately the food was just okay. I ordered the sauteed shrimp, but it's more like boil shrimp, no char what so ever and I was not impressed. I also feel it's missing a punch of flavor and texture. Maybe adding fried capers with some sliced toasted almonds or roasted corn would be nice addition. Other dishes such as lasagna was not warm enough. Fries were good though. Pricing is is on par with the neighborhood. None the less, it's a cool spot in West Hollywood/Beverly Hill area.

Food decent at best. Actually a disappointment for your pallet. But the atmosphere of the place is cool. Music can be a little overpowering depending on where you're sitting to dine. A couple honeys walking around but definitely not what I was expecting. Peter was nice tho.

Double date on a Tuesday night. Got in around 9pm. Staff was extremely nice. We had a cute table in the back. Our server was fun and lighthearted. Very pretty ambiance. Quick food and drink service. The oysters were tasty. But the other foods kinda lacked flavor. Nothing the imagination couldn’t fix, though. I’d definitely go again. Clean restrooms (womens). Parked across the street but parking may be tougher on a different night.

6/23: Good visit to a place my wife was dying to see. No big-name visitors but an enjoyable spot for dinner. Goat cheese balls were apparently a must-try by us and every table in the same room; lots of cheese with a crunchy outer shell. The risotto special was disappointing: not exactly an insult but it tasted exactly like creamed corn, but for $44. Gabriel was an excellent server and advocated for us when food or drinks were taking a little too long.

I am going to describe this place and 5 words: Fantastic drinks and good vibes 👌 We celebrate out friend birthday 🎂 and staff were very nice. I ordered watermelon margaritas 🍹 😋 🤪 and was delicious. They had really good music too and we danced.

One of the best nights ever. Hannah was exceptional and many delights and craft cocktails!!! Highly recommend reservations and make it by 7. Enjoy the walking around live singing w the DJ spinning!

It was so nice to finally make it to the Famed SUR Restaurant! Im a fan of the show and the place did NOT disappoint! Loved the atmospheric vibe and the staff was friendly and helpful! Especially the Manager, Peter who graciously took picture's with us! Our waiter was great! Can't remember his name, but he had a French accent? The food was next level delicious! I was really skeptical, but it was amazing!

I was in California last weekend and went here specifically because I’m a fan of the show…It was not what I expected it would be…Bathrooms were nasty and it just felt like a cheap version of people trying to be or feel high class…I browsed through and peeped in the kitchen and they had lasagna just out in the open…We didn’t even eat. The hostess was extremely nice and pleasant though…We left…Probably a decent place to pick up a gay guy/girl. Went down to Tom Tom’s after and that place was empty but gorgeous!!! I bet Tom Tom’s would be a nice place to be on a Friday or Saturday night.

This is place is beautiful as always. The food is delicious and the cocktails are the best! They have a great variety of their own unique cocktails. The food portions are good and the desserts are good too. The menu does change it’s never the same but I don’t know how often it changes.. but I think that’s a good thing. They always have good choices..The staff is very helpful and polite and always making sure you are taken care of. I highly recommend for a nice date night with your husband like we did :).. or with friends.

Delayed and then cancelled flight in LA the wife knew exactly where to go. Overall a great experience. Close parking in the garage, a great happy hour menu and great appetizers, entrees desserts and drinks.

Like most people, we came here for the nostalgia of Vanderpump Rules and RHOBH. We came right at opening as we weren’t sure how busy it could get so it was nice to be in and out fairly quick after having a drink. Drink prices seemed reasonable!

First, I'm not a fan of "reality" TV and by proxy Vanderpump Rules. That out of the way, I found the food to be quite good. The value isn't there for that quality, i.e. its overpriced. I was told by my wife that Lisa would have been upset that the flower at our table was wilted and unpretty. I would say, have her care more about where we were seated. On a Wednesday night before Thanksgiving we were placed in the farthest part of the restaurant, one of our party sitting under an elephant ear plant that was annoyingly touching her head throughout the night. Or my chair being in half on a crack in the floor that required me to sit on one half of the seat to keep it from slumping to the right by close to two inches below the chair foot on the left. To be more concerned about the time it took the server to come to our table to ask if we wanted drinks or an appetizer. The restaurant was not crowded. We were shuttled to the banished section of the restaurant but ok, so what, but does that create the service gap? I don't know. Now the good. If grading without a scale relative to cost, those drinks that finally got to our table were excellent. The bread, also delicious. The entrees, three enthusiastic thumbs up. I had moved from a one star, to a three star and by the time the meal was complete, up to four, looking past the transgressions listed above. Then the bill. If you want to hide me, my wife wearing a scarf to cover her bald head due to chemotherapy, me in my ill fitted slacks and bowler fashion shirt and our friend that joined us, have us sit under a canopy of a plant that dangled precariously close and even touching her head, to have me sit at an angle or lean one direction throughout the dinner, then price the drinks and food accordingly. It wasn't so the night ended with three stars. If you're beautiful and wealthy I am quite sure you'll love the place. We are neither poor nor unseemly, but perhaps a slightly different station in life than Sur's target audience. For me, a strong, but still, 3 stars.

SUR is one of the finest restaurants I have dined at since the pandemic. My wife and I have eaten out a lot since covid restrictions have been eased and have found the quality of food and service has declined. Not at SUR! From your hostess to your wait staff, service is top notch. My son has food allergies and they were able to accommodate his allergies. Food was fantastic. The chef does wonderfully at preparing your meal from a variety of menu items. Keep in mind the menu is a bit pricey, but it is worth the cost.

Was very pleasantly surprised! Was expecting the service and food to be average, but everything was DELICIOUS. The goat cheese balls were better than I imagined and my boyfriend and I both LOVED the new corn ravioli. The drinks were delicious and the perfect amount of sweet. I recognized Guillermo who came over and had a conversation with us and was so kind and engaging. I definitely recommend sitting in the Garden for a real SUR experience if you are a VPR fan!

Very disappointed with everything. Food and drinks were just ok. We went on a Friday night and expected it to be super busy being that we couldn’t get a reservation until 9:30pm for dinner. The part of the restaurant that we were seated was extremely dark even with the candles it was very difficult to see the menu and take good photos. We ordered the goat cheese balls and crab cakes to start. The crab cake was actually my favorite of the entire meal. We had two different pastas the squid ink seafood bucatini and the truffle potato gnocchi. The bucatini did have lots of flavor with a lot of heat but pasta was not cooked well and was bunched up. Truffle gnocchi was so bland. The blackberry cobbler was delicious but the smoked crème brûlée was a dud. It was supposed to be great presentation with smoke being released when you open the glass dish but it’s was underwhelming and tasted weird. Definitely a one and done restaurant for me.

Had a great time coming for my friends birthday. She is a huge fan of the show and this place did not disappoint. The food and drinks were awesome and we had even more fun here than the on in Vegas. The staff was super accommodating and even brought the birthday girl her dessert singing and taking lots of pictures. We saw a few local celebrities and Hollywood people. Great times

The ambiance of this place is to die for!! The service was exceptional. Unfortunately the food was just okay and so were the cocktails. I'd recommend it for lunch or early bite but it wasn't so great for dinner. My friends and I were happy to have experienced SUR anyway! Check them out but lower your expectations when it comes to the food.

Came here for drinks on New Year’s Eve. Drinks were amazing and the service was on point. Super cute place with a laid back atmosphere! Next time, I’ll be back for dinner. Came from Arizona it was a joy to visit. The cucumber tequila drink was fire!!

Beautiful restaurant backed with delicious food and drinks! We specifically chose to do the Dine La menu and it didn't disappoint. Love the vibe and atmosphere Sur provides and our server along with the support staff were very attentive. If you're ever in West Hollywood, it's worth a visit!

$10 charge for still water that was NOT mentioned when asked if we would like water for the table. I felt scammed. Food was mediocre at best. I was especially disappointed by the goat cheese balls as I’ve had better in my hometown. We were seated outside & bugs + leafs were falling into our food/drinks. The decor looks like they haven’t been touched in 5+ years. Seat cushions were dingy & gross looking & umbrellas were faded. I was so excited to come & was extremely disappointed in my visit & will not be back. We ordered 3 apps, 2 cocktails & apparently a bottle of water that gave us 2 tiny glasses water each. $115 without tip. Outrageous. You can get a better meal at in n out bc the food was not fresh nor appetizing. Save your money & sadly don’t come just bc you’re a fan of the show.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant with a variety of rooms to dine in. The food and drinks were actually pretty good compared to others' comments. I'm from Maryland, so the crab cake should be bigger but had great flavor. We only had apps, but we would definitely go back!

We stopped in for both brunch and dinner! The atmosphere is so cute. The food is phenomenal. Anyone saying the food is overrated is lying. The food was so good. We got the goat cheese balls OF COURSE lol. And they were so good and fresh! Drinks were so good!

Went for dinner, started with the goat cheese balls which lived up to their reputation!!! my fiance had the seared shrimp which was absolutely lovely the quinoa and sauce that it came with we're so flavorful and light! I had the broccolini cauliflower, it was okay but definitely on the bland side however portions were huge! Now when it comes to the Pumptini we were greatly disappointed, waited quite a while for it to arrive and it had very little flavor all we could taste was vodka but hey it looks sexy at least. Absolutely loved the decor and atmosphere the staff was incredibly friendly as well!

My friends and I took a girl trip from Las Vegas to California and our main highlight was to visit SUR! We had an AMAZING experience! The drinks were unbelievably delicious, the atmosphere was energetic and sexy and the food was exactly as described on the menu! Our server was very attentive and friendly! We were so ecstatic to meet Guillermo. He was so welcoming and friendly. I even got to meet Charli! She was so sweet. I will definitely be back next year!!!

Chicken Picatta : 7/10 : it was great in flavor, but it was a bit cold. Fettuccine : 7/10: although it was Alfredo style, it needed more creaminess it tasted more buttery if anything the butter overtook the flavor of the actual dish. Dumplings : 8/10 they tasted great but nothing spicy at all haha Food took about 20 mins and did not come very hot. I'm assuming they brought everything out at the same time for that reason causing some food to be sitting getting cold. Parking is super packed on the street. You can find parking for 15$ all day in the front of the restaurant

Overall good experience, but not a 5 yet. Starting with waiting at the bar…They took forever checking my ID because I’m from out of town. The manager came out to ask me what’s the problem and I’m like I have no idea I’m just trying to order a drink. Eventually got my drink and it was not bad. Nothing out of the world but pretty to look at. They had a cute outdoor garden area to wait. Our table was ready right at our reservation time. Had a cute outdoor corner table and there were enough heaters everywhere so it felt warm! The fried goat cheese balls were really good and seemed to come out fresh. Loved the chimchurri dip with the bread! The Joe’s fettuccine was really tasty - although the sauce was thinner than we expected it to be but still tasted 💯. The real showstopper was the braised beef short rib which came out perfectly. It was cooked to perfection and sooo tender. Finished every bite and wanted more! Overall service was fine too. It seems like couple servers work an area so you can always find someone. They regularly checked on us for more drinks and provided recommendations.

I had a great experience. I ordered their signature burger and 2 glasses of cocktails. The ambiance is very nice! And it's reasonably priced. Will definitely return!

I ordered the fried goat cheese balls and the salmon to eat and the food was very good. The cocktail I ordered was all very good. The prices were high but I knew the cost going in. The waitstaff was friendly but seemed very busy. It was a little difficult getting their attention. I think going to Sur once is sufficient, although I would be interested in trying their brunch as I’ve heard great things about that.

Our server was great, I wish I could remember his name. Very friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed my mixed drink “the big pinky” is what I believe it was called. Unfortunately I don’t have much to rave about otherwise. The food was really overpriced, not super warm or flavorful. The goat cheese balls appetizer was roughly $15 and only comes with 3 little balls. Our table was practically touching another so there was no privacy to enjoy conversation. It was cool seeing a few cast members from the show, and the restaurant in real life, but I expected a little more.

Everything about our visit was amazing! We showed up an hour early because we were on a road trip and they were able to get us sat right away. Our server was Hannah and she was very knowledgeable, gave amazing recommendations and made our brunch so special! The food was just as great, goat cheese balls and strip steak were to die for! We also went back for late night drinks and got service right away thanks to Guillermo. Thank you Sur! We will be back!

Food was good, husband said the salmon was the best he had ever had, crab cake was good but my granddaughter's spaghetti was undercooked. The watermelon margaritas were delicious 😋 It went very smoothly, be sure to make a reservation if you are able to ahead of time.

I visited SUR Restaurant for this first time in June 2023 during the busy festival weekend. The hostess and waitress server were 5 stars with professionalism, attention to details, care and personality. The food was good and the ambiance as well as the music was fantastic. A very positive and memorable experience.

It was a nice and quiet place, a beautiful atmosphere and a great location. There is a big and affordable parking space. The service was A+. The server was knowledgeable and helped us with the menu, I followed his recommendation, and I was so happy with my food and my drink. I am a realtor here on a business trip at a conference but defenetly coming back Service was good and fast! The food was delicious. #goodfood #craigmolnarteam

I had a really nice dining experience at SUR Restaurant and Loung last night!! Every single bite of my food was tasty, it was like a party in my mouth( lump crab cake, salmon w/lentils)!! Speaking of party, the music/DJ was on point- great song selections! The ambiance and lighting were amazing!! My waiter was attentive! Wonderful experience, 5 stars!!

1)Metropolitan cocktail 2) Bread with Balsamic butter and Chimichurri 3) Charcuterie 4) I had Shrimp Fettuccine 5)Jamie had Tomahawk Pork Milanese 6) T had Grilled Prime Skirt Steak I'm not sure what went on in the production of that tomahawk Pork Milanese but that thing was fire! I wasn't expecting that! The Charcuterie was completely different from what I pictured in my head. I thought it would've came on a board and had a little more to it. Not what I was expecting but everything tasted good on it. Especially the honeycomb and pickled veggies. Overall cool friendly place. Parking was a nightmare. So if you go, you might get lucky finding street parking or have to valet for $20.

Amazing food and service

Devastated, I arrived at 11 on Sunday and it was closed (along with TomTom). Please add a warning to your website that sometimes you close before midnight. Traveled so far and wide to sadly look at the closed facade.

Ready liked the atmosphere. Staff was attentive and those from the TV shows are also very gracious with the tourists.

I have always been a big fan of the show! So it's a must when in Los Angeles, the vibe was lively and the drinks were good. The decor and ambiance is chic af!

You might be tempted to think this place is just hype for a reality tv show but you should think again. They serve really good quality food, great cocktails, and the interior has several different sections, beautifully decorated.

This place has some of the best drinks. The people that work there are very nice and your food and drinks arrive fast. The way sur is decorated is just beautiful. You also feel safe if your there late at night. They had a good DJ we were able to dance and have a good time. I will definitely be back next year. Thanks sur for a fun night and some good drinks.

Max was the best server, so welcoming and friendly! Sur makes delicious Cosmos, we also loved the grilled chicken and the goat cheese balls were phenomenal! I loved the ambiance, the decor gives off a boho-glam enchanted garden vibe. Can't wait to go back!

I loved the vibe here. Good music, food, and beautiful place to have parties. Celebrated my friend 50th birthday here on Saturday.

Sir was an eclectic paradise of fun with perfect customer service. The only thing missing was a visit from The Quern herself. We both ordered the amazing pasta. The Manhattan & Pink Fizz will definitely sneak up on you with their powerful punch bit scrumptious taste.

It was a nice experience. The ambiance was great! Didn't care too much about the goat cheese balls or Brussels, but everything else was good. Had the caprese salad w/ grilled chicken. My friend had shrimp and pasta. Drinks were yummy! I had the strawberini. Definitely would go back.

Nice deco but goat cheese ball quality + quantity needs improvement

Wasn't sure what to expect and was good overall. Goat cheese curds were different, not my thing but others liked them. Beef filets and skirt steak were great. Pork chop was possibly the best one he ever had. Drinks we good too. So the food was great and the decor was eclectic. Nobody understood the decor.
