I had an incredible experience with Dr. Tingey. The whole team really came through for me last minute, which I greatly appreciated. The entire staff was exceptionally patient and kind, making me feel at ease throughout my visit. What stood out the most was how they walked me through every step of the process, ensuring I understood what was happening and why. I can confidently say that this is the best dental office I've ever been to. Their professionalism, empathy, and commitment to patient care are truly commendable. I highly recommend West Jordan Modern Dentistry to anyone in need of top-notch dental care.

This group is 100% only looking to push unnecessary procedures at you. I eventually will need a crown on a root canaled front tooth, this much was recommended and understandable......but then the dentist recommended I also crown the perfectly healthy front tooth next to it because 'matching two front teeth is the hardest thing to do in dentistry.' Who recommends destroying a perfectly healthy tooth for cosmetic reasons to someone in their 30s? After reading other reviews, it is clear that this is common practice here. Dental fraud. Don't go here. FYI - If you ever need a second opinion on anything, White Pine Dental offers free second opinions and they treat much more conservatively without jeopardizing treatment or results.

I liked them on my first visit as the doctor made me feel comfortable, but that was about 2 years ago and since then it’s been bad. They would get our families dentist appointments mixed up or completely incorrect when they send out text reminders. Then when we tried calling to correct everything we were on hold for 20 minutes multiple times. No answering machine to get a call back. Then when I was asked if I was pregnant and answered “no,” with a bit of sass I got “yeah I didn’t think so.” Ummm…what’s that supposed to mean? I got a couple fillings redone that appointment and my tooth hurt for 3 ish months due to uneven bite that for the life of them they couldn’t fix (went back 3 times). Then upon my next appointment I get a call saying they don’t have a hygienist and have to cancel my appointment and can’t reschedule. They proceeded to still send a text reminder and I had to remind them they cancelled on me because they didn’t have a hygienist. I knew I didn’t want to go back. So I found a different dentist and in that time the filling they had done a year prior came loose. That dentist did a phenomenal job and evened the bite on the first try. Now, tonight, about 18 months after earlier said fillings were redone, the other filling modern dentistry did has come loose. Unorganized and poor dentistry work. Worst dentist I’ve ever been too.

Nice people, but horribly inefficient to the point I won’t be coming back. My first appointment was over an hour and a half for just an exam, no cleaning or work done. 75% of that was just sitting in the chair waiting. My second appointment was today to have two cavities filled and a cleaning done. I was there for 2 hours 45 minutes and only the fillings were done, they asked if I would come back for the cleaning another day. Again probably 75% of the time I’m in the chair waiting. Bummer, they’re super kind and seem to do good work but I just don’t have 3 hours to spend at the dentist and still be asked to come back. They can do better.

Dr. McAffee and Andrea the assistant make me feel comfortable during my treatments and they always make sure everything goes smoothly. Stephanie is super nice and gentle with my cleanings, and she’s very knowledgeable so I always know how to best take care of my teeth. The front-desk staff is friendly, resourceful, and they all make sure I’m taken care of before I walk out the door. Overall, it’s always a pleasant experience when I go! Thanks for everything you do~

I've been going to this office for a couple years now. They have always done incredible, good-quality work. My complaint comes in with regard to their cost and maybe even their ethics. My son went in for a routine visit. He came home with a bill in the THOUSANDS! I'm not exaggerating. They wanted to give him a couple crowns and 15 fillings! I decided to get a second opinion. The second opinion came in 93% less. That's right. THOUSANDS of dollars less with half as many fillings and no crowns. I'm sleeping better tonight! These guys sell Ferraris when you are just trying to get a reliable car.

I rarely leave reviews but I’m bummed about the runaround I’ve gotten with this place. I live over 30 minutes away but made the drive for every appointment for about a year (I needed a lot of work) because I loved my dentist, Dr. Goodell. I felt super comfortable with her and she was just 10/10. The other day, I had an appointment scheduled that I made at my previous appointment about 6 months prior. In the past, I had had appointments there canceled on me or forgotten about so I thought I’d call to confirm before I made the drive. I was told I didn’t have an appointment in the system and that my dentist left. And that “she’s no longer in dentistry” which just seems odd. Maybe something happened behind the scenes but I wish I knew where she would be practicing in the future. I can’t find anything online about where she’s gone or malpractice. The office staff was always pleasant enough to me but their system doesn’t seem very organized or reliable. Like I said, I’ve had appointments canceled on me at least twice before for no rhyme or reason. The wait times have also been pretty long just getting back to the exam rooms or between steps of treatments and having to remind the staff that I was still there. I know same day crowns can take a certain amount of time to make but there were a few times I waited well beyond their estimate. It also seems like they have a lot of student hygienists in training there which is fine, I get that people need to learn. But I’ve had some messy cleanings and very uncomfortable X-ray experiences that tells me these students could benefit from more supervision and guidance. Maybe things will change with their new owners but I’ll be going elsewhere.

Absolutely everyone was amazing the front desk people, the techs, the Dr. himself but the star was Jess she was so nice and was able to help me stay calm during my procedure. Came in with a very last min emergency tooth break and I was able to be taken and get my mouth fixed for a very reasonable price. Here’s before and after would recommend for anyone needing any work

It was the worst experience I ever had! Please save your money and go somewhere else. Because the front desk people don't know what they are billing clients for. I was told that if I didn't get a certain procedure done, they wouldn't bill me for that. Sure enough, I got billed for it. Then the office gave me the run around, and we've been doing this since June it is now October! Not only that they got my flipper wrong twice and I had to come back 3 times for that. I had a very unpleasant experience and hope you reconsider going with another dentist office to save you the head ache. Because the people that work there are not all on the same page.
