My husband and I moved in at the beginning of July and we have loved every second of it. Club house is amazing, gym is incredible, the pool is absolutely beautiful, and the apartments themselves are spacious and we couldn’t be happier with the layout. If you’ve ever been or toured 4th West or Hardware apartments, these give you a similar vibe and feel. We had previously toured over 15+ apartments and they weren’t 100% what we were looking for or wanted (price, location, aesthetic, gym, etc). We were a little hopeless because we would have to compromise on some things we wanted or needed. However, by a fluke we came across Upper West and it was by no means an accident. The application process was easy and effortless, the leasing ladies are knowledgeable, attentive, and sweet! Julio is our favorite, he is the Maintenance Manager and if you need anything, he’ll get it done in no time and exceed your expectations. We would highly recommend these to anyone searching for a new place.

I love living here. Ever since Liz took over as the manager, life has been so much easier. The amenities are actually nice because people are held accountable and they get mad and throw fits because they can’t do whatever they want. If you want to do what you want, buy a house. Or just follow the rules, or like crack open a book and read. Management makes sure that everyone acts like an adult and is held responsible like an adult. Also no one died here. I have lived here since it’s opened, and what happened was a shooting across the street. Nothing with upper west. I love how the team runs the place and maintenance is amazing to work with.

I've lived Downtown, Sugarhouse to Daybreak, South Jordan. and now in West Jordan for a year, at Upper West...If you're looking for an UPSCALE clean, beautiful "Resort like living" this is your place! Yes, apartment living has downfalls, but they are minimal living here! compared to other places I've lived. Research and look around!...been there done that...promise you will end up here...Shout out to the management! Liz and Kennadi.

There is no place like home, and I'm glad to have made Upper West mine. It's incredibly well snagged and maintained, everyone is more than pleasant. They absolutely love dogs, and my pup has never been happier than when we stop in the lobby for complintary cookies and a quick coffee to start our day.

Absolutely love it here! Super clean and management is amazing. Liz, Andy, and Kennadi were super responsive and sweet! Very charismatic! My couple of months staying here have been very worth the while! I loved my apartment. The maintenance team is full of stars! Thank you for an amazing stay! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! Management is a nightmare, overpriced apartments, unsafe!!!! This place is not worth the headache, or the expenses it takes to live here. I lived in these apartments for about a year and a half and genuinely could not wait to leave. They advertise that the apartment rent is a certain rate each month and then they will add on various expenses like communal electricity, trash valet, etc that you do not have a choice of paying or not regardless if you use the communal areas and trash valet. The management employees are a nightmare to deal with. They are incredibly impersonal, rude, and lack basic customer service skills. Liz in particular is the main person who you will be dealing with if you live here, and she is horrendous. If they have an issue with you they will serve you a 3 day notice to comply or vacate before having any form of conversation about the issue. As I said, a complete lack of customer service and people skills in general. The apartments themselves are extremely overpriced for what you are getting. They are built very cheap, the paint will chip off the walls by you simply brushing against them. Which is convenient for the management company because when you move out they will deduct $150 from your deposit even if you repainted the apartments yourself. You cannot really use the amenities, there are various limitations on how many people you can bring to the pool, and you cannot use the clubhouse even if it is not in use unless you pay an additional $250 (but you are still paying for its electricity to run around the clock!). In my short time here there were two shootings, including one fatality from someone breaking into cars on the street. Parking is a whole new kind of hell. Street parking is always crowded, and if you ever plan on having guests over they always struggle to find places to park. There are tow zones everywhere further limiting the parking availability. You can pay an additional $25 a month on top of everything else to have a reserved spot in the parking garage, however people will park in your place frequently. Regardless of my horrible experience here at UpperWest, I know there are better places out there where you will get more for what you pay! I urge you to keep looking!!!!!!!!

My boyfriend and I recently visited this place for a tour and decided on the spot that this apartment is a perfect match for us! The biggest reason for making this decision was because of Jesse! Jesse answered our questions and elaborated on specific details so well. His company was extremely pleasant all around! We will be moving here in two months, and I cannot wait to be part of this community! Thank you Jesse! You're the best!

Went in to have a look at the floor plan options. Overall the staff were super eager to help me and listened to all my needs and concerns. Can’t wait to sign my lease and join the Upper west.
