I'm very dissatisfied with my stay at My Place in West Jordan. When I first checked in, I was unsure in the duration in which I would need to stay. The staff member that checked me in went through the different rates, stating the longer I stay the lower the rate. I requested 3 nights. The day before I was due to check out, I requested another night. The next day, I requested 2 more days, totaling a week which should have qualified for the lower rate. The staff member that extended my stay stated that I did qualify, but she could not make the adjustments. She let me know that her manager would fix it in the morning. In the morning I spoke with the manager about the situation. She refused to change the rate, and said it was against policy. She said that the lower rate was to encourage customers to stay longer, and it rewards them for paying upfront. In addition, it creates less work for the staff. I felt that the manager, Ashli, was rude and very unhelpful. I do not feel that she belongs in customer service. She made me feel like I was an inconvenience to her and her staff. When she thought I was out of ear shot, I overheard her talking poorly of me with another staff member. That is not how you treat people. I don't completely follow the logic of the policy of not being able to lower the rates of previous dates. The entire time I stayed there, house cleaning never cleaned my room. I paid for the requested days upfront. The only additional work that was created for the staff was to ask them to extend my stay, and to charge my card. If a business wants to charge me an additional $250 because I took 10 minutes from their employee to help me, then I do not feel that the business appreciates me as a customer.

As soon as I entered my room all I could see on the floor was large amounts of dog hair, weird little bugs inside towels, and when I went to grab the laundry basket they provide in the room about 2 cups of dog hair is sent flying in the air and over everything in the room. They overcharge their hotel rooms when they start noticing they are selling out rooms faster then usual. Their average rate is 75 dollars but are charging 150 dollars for walk ins at this very moment and the rooms aren't even worth 75$ to begin with. I highly recommend not staying here if you are allergic to pet's, would not prefer dog hair all over your room, or pay for an over priced room/pay for the over priced food they provide in hotel. They charge 6 dollars for one tv dinner.

I always judge a hotel by the time I enter its parking lot. The parking lot here is clean and well landscaped. Upon entry, I was greeted by staff and quickly checked in. The room was well cleaned and everything was placed where it belongs. The linens all look and smell clean. Very handy having a full size fridge and microwave. The kitchenette was an added bonus, though I didn't need it. Overall, this was a very pleasant stay.

The manager, Andrea, at the West Jordan location is incredibly rude. This place charged us for a second night because I'd left my belongings in the room but disabled our keys. I went to pick up my things and she made me get a police escort before I could go into the room. She was completely bitter and unwilling to let me get my things until the police arrived and suddenly she was all cheeky and smiles. She turned it into so much bigger of an issue than it needed to be. Nobody should have to call a police escort to enter a room they paid for!

We came for a concert and booked 3 rooms. Spent a lot of money to stay here. Our room smelled horrible. Spelt like dogs and urine, the other rooms weren't ready by check In had to wait for 2 hours before they were ready. Will go elsewhere next time not worth the money.

Great budget hotel. Clean, well maintained room. Clean hallway/stairwell. Friendly Staff. No frills, but thatโ€™s the price point. Would stay here again

Had really low expectations when I pulled up but it was actually a really nice place to stay. Had weird dreams there though

Kitchen doesn't come with any dishes, silverware etc. No pool. Besides those 2 things it's a great clean hotel. Beds are very comfy.

Check-in was painless. Beds were comfortable (though squeaky) the room was clean with no apparent problems. The hotel overall felt a little dated and would benefit from a fresh cost of paint (or a full on remodel). The single biggest problem was the smell. The hotel didn't stink, but the stovetops in every room means your fellow guests can cook in their rooms. Every time I got off the elevator I was greeted with a new, unique, potent smell that was rarely pleasant.

Will definitely not stay at this hotel again. I gave it 2 stars because the area was nice and the front desk lady was kind enough to accommodate us. I checked in and got our first room, walked in and walked immediately out. I have never smelled a room smell so much of animal urine. Front desk lady got us another room, which only smelled like animal urine a bit. I canโ€™t describe to you how badly the stench of animal urine was. These rooms need to be deep cleaned.

Worst place I've ever stayed. Incredibly rude and unwelcoming employees and disgusting room. Find ANY hotel other than this one

Great management, good staff, great maids. Seriously, this beats out hampton on so many levels. Only downside is the internet.. while it is free, if you're staying for a while and play video games, the internet CONPKETELY BLOCKS GAME UPDATES AND DOWNLOADS which I think is unacceptable.

You have a fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker TV and great beds and service. Very nice place to stay for a decent price.

Warning, Warning, Warning... This hotel, while perfectly adequate, uses a booking service which uses questionable billing fees. While staying at the hotel for several days, I was provided, upon request, the hotel charges. When compared to the booking fees my total charges were more than 25% higher! Shame on you! I'll not be back!

The employees are great but the GM shouldn't interact with customers - inflexible to the point of rudeness, though that is often more a corporate issue. The rooms are cleaned and well maintained but the building is poorly designed - especially for an efficiency; you can hear casual conversations in neighboring rooms and enjoy the scents of whatever they're cooking/eating if it is remotely spiced. Shared smells are not ideal in a pet friendly hotel. If you can get an isolated room with no out of the ordinary needs or issues, it's worth saving the money over Marriott/Hampton/Hilton efficiencies, otherwise the headaches here are worth the cost of an extra star hotel. Key Tip: kitchenette does not come with utensils, pots, pans, dishware, etc. If you're going to be cooking, that alone might make TownePlace a better choice.

Nice place. The queen bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was not included with the stay and they did not have on site EV chargers!

Been here for a month and will be here for another 2 because my house caught fire.... I love the staff here, super welcoming, super sweet group of ladies. Dog friendly. Clean rooms, and they seem not get a ton of loud party people here. So for long term, looking for some normalcy this is the place to be.

Customer service when we arrived was appalling with Ashley who refused to attend us any further when we had confusions with our reservations she was no help. Later another person came in and she was very helpful and got us in but Ashley should not be a part of the customer service.

Spent 4 days at this location, had a fantastic experience! Everything was really clean, staff was amazing and super friendly. Trevor was a ROCKSTAR answering all my questions...and the morning staff put up my two dogs while taking them for an AM walk.

I have stayed here a couple of times when I come to visit family in west jordan, I grew up in WJ so I feel safe here , my place hotel has always been clean , comfortable and easily enjoyable , the front desk staff have been nice and helpful, beds are always comfy, hot water is mediocre but not horrible I still enjoyed a relaxing shower , the ice makers in the freezers in room always make a good amount of ice in a decent time , pretty good stay overall .

We enjoyed our stay until we woke up to our truck broken into and our belongs stolen. The policeman who wrote up our police report questioned why we brought our family here as he gets frequent calls. I would not have guessed that was the case as it seems clean and new, but we will not be staying a my place hotel again.

A wonderful new hotel hotel chain designed for people looking to extend their stay or feel comfortable in a home like setting. The management staff is warm and welcoming and makes you feel right at home. I currently have a couple employees staying here long term for a project in town.
