I'll
start
my
review
by
stating
that
I
visit
this
Maverik
multiple
times
a
day
because
I
literally
live
next
door.
Between
beverages,
cigarettes,
snacks,
and
gas,
I
easily
spend
over
1000
monthly
there.
Unfortunately,
today
I
visited
the
store
at
around
515
AM
to
find
the
registered
unattended.
I
called
hello
several
times,
but
the
woman
on
the
other
side
of
the
store
(I
think
she
was
changing
coffee
pots)
failed
to
respond.
I
crossed
the
store
and
spoke
directly
to
her
(I
thought
perhaps
she
hadn't
heard
me
because
she
was
wearing
earphones...
NOPE,
she
was
just
flat
out
ignoring
a
customer),
and
she
mumbled
that
someone
was
on
the
back
washing
dishes.
She
disappeared
into
the
back
of
the
store,
and
neither
she
nor
the
mystery
dishwasher
appeared
for
a
solid
5
minutes,
without
explanation.
I
finally
just
used
self
checkout
(would
have
done
so
originally,
but
I
needed
cigarettes)
and
left,
never
seeing
either
of
these
individuals
again.
I
subsequently
called
and
asked
for
the
managers
name.
Anton
(presumably
the
person
washing
dishes
and
ignoring
customers)
have
me
the
managers
name.
I
then
asked
for
his
coworkers
name
(you
know,
the
one
that
just
ignored
me
when
I
called
Hello
a
multiple
times
because
the
registers
were
unattended).
He
gave
me
her
name
(Sally,
he
said),
and
then
came
the
best
part:
he
rudely
told
me
to
go
ahead
and
complain,
and
then
be
actually
told
me
to
never
come
to
the
store
again!!
I've
complained
about
Anton
in
the
past
for
similar
behavior,
yet
clearly
this
location
just
doesn't
care
about
customer
service.
I'll
gladly
go
elsewhere,
as
there
are
4
other
Maveriks,
4
7-11s,
a
Chevron
and
two
Holidays
within
about
a
mile
of
this
store.
However,
I'll
also
gladly
do
what
I'm
doing
here
and
let
people
know
that
some
of
the
staff
at
this
location
are
objectively
awful,
and
that
furthermore
the
management
doesn't
seem
to
care.
I'll
definitely
complain
directly
to
the
manager,
and
I'll
also
contact
Maveriks
corporate
offices.
I'm
posting
this
review,
however,
because
I
don't
think
other
methods
of
complaining
will
do
any
good,
given
that
this
type
of
behavior,
specifically
from
Anton
(skinny
long
haired
guy
in
case
he's
lying
about
his
name)
continues
and
has
continued
for
at
least
2
years.
I'm
not
sure
what
his
justification
was
for
telling
me
not
to
return
(apparently
visiting
a
24
hour
store
when
the
staff
have
other
things
to
do
is
frowned
upon...?),
but
I
can
definitely
take
my
business
elsewhere,
as
I
doubt
the
reeducation,re-training,
and
disciplining
of
the
problem
staff
at
this
store
is
going
to
occur
as
it
should.
