    I always thought the only fix for a bad day was an unhealthy amount of ice cream to drowned the pain in diabetes. Turns out exceptional customer service is just as effective in brightening your day. I need to apologize because I forgot his name, the assistant manager here, I believe it was Isaiah? (Will update accordingly) this man needs to be running this place by the time I come back. I walked up to the counter broken hearted and beaten by a rough day and when he asked how it was going, I thought for moment and said “awful, that’s why I’m here.” He smiled and said that I’ve come to the right place and he couldn’t have been more correct! I placed my usual order and thought to myself “I need more”. Now, the custom order I was about to place, I’ve tried to place in the past to no avail, employees “weren’t allowed”. Now, I was never asking for mountains to be moved, just a little combination of two magical items…let’s call it, The Split-Fection. Isaiah smiled and said, “yeah man, I can do that….what if we add (secret step)” and had to take pause, not only did he not hesitate to create this delicious custom order but he even thought of a way to make it better! This right here, this is true customer service. Within a minute, my order was ready to go and I happily sunk into a seat ready to wash away my sadness. But I realized, this simple interaction with such an outstanding employee already made me feel better and the ice cream, as amazing as it was, was no longer needed to make me smile…but I ate every bite regardless because it was pure art! So DQ, you keep this man or board and see that he’s well looked after, he’s a dying breed of people that still care about their job and knows what to actually offer the customer for a truly good experience.

    We came to Dairy Queen tonight ordered four blizzards which they never flipped one, so we said they never did it. They didn’t follow through with their own protocol and give a free one for next time. They lady at the window was very rude when we asked

    Great if you want the melted ice cream to spill all over your car while driving home because they are too cheap to give any covers for the overpriced and half melted blizzards

    Worst experience ever! Number ones had no bacon no fries. Waited for ten minutes for our food! Garbage service!! I called to ask them to make it right! They wouldn’t even make my 3 burgers right!!! Never recommend this dq!

    Ordered a “mermaid” cake for my daughters 3rd birthday… was not what I requested and they made no effort to put any designs , the writing on it was RED which didn’t match any of the colours on the cake and they put the design upside down. When asked about it they just said they didn’t have any other colours available(if this was the case they should of asked) I tried to make it look a little better with my own edible decals that I bought . Not impressed especially after paying over $50 for it.

    My daughter was eating in the dark after picking up drive-through tonight and didn't realize until half way through that her chicken sandwich was raw in the middle. They exchanged her meal but she still ate half a raw chicken sandwich.

    The food here is always fresh (for fast food anyway) and the staff is super friendly. Drive-thru times are pretty reasonable too.

    I'm 52. I grew up in a time when Dairy Queen was a completely different company than "DQ" has become today. They rebranded. The food is not as delicious as it once was. It's overpriced for the quality. The old uniforms were nostalgic and fun. The biggest loss of quality is their ice-cream treats. It's over!!!! Too much air and ice crystals. Dq ice-cream is now on par with McDonald's. My parents also agree Dairy Queen of yesterday is GONE. "Dq" is now overpriced, very bland, generic. . . . Boring.

    I came around 1pm and there were 2 workers here, so they were very busy but they kept their smiles on and were very nice. However, there could be some improvements. I ordered the pretzels, a snack wrap and a blizzard and I got the blizzard straight away. I ended up having to eat it first because with how busy it was (which it wasn't very busy at all, just maybe too much for only 2 staff members) it took 15 minutes for my other food to be ready. The worker dropped the pretzels so he made new ones which i appreciate. The wrap was about half the size it usually is and wrapped in a way that made everything spill out the sides. Still, everything tasted good and I know the staff are doing their best. I understand what it's like to work in customer service. I think extra staff at the busier times and maybe better training on how to make the food would be good to improve this location. Aside from that, the washroom was very clean and well kept which was great.

    I visited Dairy Queen recently and was impressed with their quick service and friendly staff. However, I was a bit disappointed with my milkshake as it lacked flavor. Another downside was that the discount barcodes on the app never seemed to work, which was frustrating. Overall, it's a decent place, but there are some areas that could use improvement.
