A beautiful traditional pub, with a great variety of beers on offer. This is a low ceiling, proper inn style pub with bags of character. There are around 4 or 5 real ales on tap at any given time, usually by local breweries. There are little snugs to chill out in, in addition to the front and rear beer gardens. A must pop in, if you're in the area. A lovely pub.

Lovely little pub, lots of nooks and cranies to sit inside. A surprisingly big comfortable garden with under cover area with sports channels on big screens. Good range of drinks, thai based food.

Stopped by for afternoon drinks and loved chilling out front. Our son loved a fish pond out back and it’s a beautiful pub. Really recommend stopping by for a 🍺

I have spent hours and hours of my life in this pub, I was a regular when I lived in West Kirby and now when I visit home I always pop in for a pint. Looks amazing since the most recently take over, the beer garden is far more attractive, the food looks top drawer but they’ve managed to keep the unique atmosphere that the White Lion always had.

Good range of beers and good atmosphere. Well worth a visit. Did not eat, but food looked very nice and diners comments sounded good

Lovely old pub, lots of nooks n crannies, tiled floor, allows dogs inside pub and garden, lovely atmosphere, relaxed and friendly. Good selection of Real Ales, also tea, coffees and very tasty food.

Great old fashioned pub with a really nice Thai kitchen. There was some live Irish folk music too!

Lovely find courteously of a guide at port sunlight museum! Arrived at 2 only to find food isn't served until 3!! Decided to wait having looked at the menu. Ordered a sharing plater starter Followed by masaman curry and tad kra pao beef The food was excellent and I would highly recommend Bar staff excellent, friendly, service outstanding!! Beer selection also very good. Local brewery ontap!

Lovely pub, very cosy. Had live music on which consisted of one singer and guitar. Was pleasant background music rather than a show. Really enjoyed it.
