It's been a while since I've been to Taco Deli, and I'm not usually on the area so this location was new to me. The taste and quality were just as good as I remember. And I'd forgotten how amazing their Dona sauce is. 🙂 This time I tried a Jess Special which was nice and light. But the standout was the Akaushi Picadillo and Egg taco. Just excellent. Plus of course their chips and queso. Can't not have that. 👍 Thanks for reminding me how good it all is.

This is such a fun place! The first time we went they had some really amazing special tacos but ever since then we haven't seen them again. My suggestion-- if there's a special Taco-- order it! Everything tastes really fresh. The workers are very helpful while ordering! The frozen margaritas are surprisingly amazing! I would have never thought! Now every time I go to HEB my mouth waters when I think of the frosty goodness! My daughter isn't a fan, but there's Chick-fil-A and Mod pizza right there, so the whole family can grab what they love and eat outside.

Taco Deli wins the taco game in Austin in my humble opinion. You can’t go wrong with the Frontera Fundido sirloin, one of their best. I also love their shrimp tacos. My son loves delibelly and el picosito. My husband loves the cowboy. The only bad thing was that they closed at 3. I’m stoked that they’re now open till 8PM. Their queso is also excellent.

We love doing the family meal plan because it's a great bang for our buck. We've done takeout here here a bunch of times and love it. We've tried all the chicken and vegetarian tacos and love them. The tacos here are like clean eats. The seasonal chicken tinga tacos were delicious! Those were during the month of Nov.

This review is specific to the Westlake location. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. They mess up my order EVERY SINGLE TIME! The mess ups are sometimes with food allergies so it’s pretty serious to the point where we have to throw the food away since we can’t eat it. Other times they give me the wrong order all together or fail to give me entire parts of my order. And they took all of the best things off the menu during 2020 and their staff is always rude and so hands off I don’t know the point in tipping especially when they do their job wrong every time and we tip 60% on our orders. We used to eat there every day for lunch but after today I’m done giving this place my money.

I recently tried out Austin-based chain Tacodeli for a quick weekday lunch. I ordered a couple tacos and was pleased with the tortillas which were fresh and warm. The chicken was nicely seasoned but overall the flavors of the tacos were just okay, not as vibrant or authentic-tasting as I'd hoped. The employees were friendly and attentive, checking on me frequently. While I appreciated the fast service and decent tacos, Tacodeli didn't completely win me over. The food lacked the bold Mexican flavors I crave. For a quick taco fix it satisfies, but it's not a destination-worthy Mexican restaurant. I'd give it an average 3 out of 5 stars.

Excellent tacos!! Interesting flavor combinations, and not so overfilled that they fall apart. Service can be variable and sometimes can be inexplicably slow. Standard fast food decor and generally kept pretty clean.

I try not to leave bad reviews unless I’ve had multiple poor experiences. This particular location is notoriously skimpy on adding meat to their tacos. It’s gotten to the point where I’ve been adding double sausage to my order and it stills comes with less than the single amount of sausage compared to their other locations. Super disappointing because I love these tacos dang it!!

I ordered carnitas tacos 30 minutes before closing, and they were unfit for human consumption. I suggest if the pork has sat out all day that a Taco Deli manager should have made an executive decision to dispose of it, versus serving vile, dry, chunks of cardboard

Love Tacodeli but had to wait over 30 minutes for a to go order! This was especially frustrating because they prioritized the lobby and people who ordered after us and went through almost two rounds of tickets before we got our order. Will not be coming back to this location
