Very poor showing for Applebee's West Memphis. Ordered chips and queso. Chips were supposed to be hot and fresh. Well it was a mix of old and cold combined mixed with tostitos rounds. As a main dinner I also ordered bone in Buffalo wings. When I recieved the wings it was more like Buffalo wing soup. As you see there was so much wing sauce on the wings and plate, I did not have to touch the side of sauce I ordered. I ordered a side of carrots and celery that I was charged for but never recieved. Even after the waitress said she was going back to get it. I asked again for it when she came back to refill our drinks but the side never arrived at the table.

My dining experience was excellent. We sat at the bar and the bartender was truly amazing! I ordered a spicy Bloody Mary and he made me a fantastic one garnished with a heaping amount of crispy bacon, a lime, several olives and a giant jalapeño! It was delicious and so pretty! I had a cheeseburger with jalapeños and it was quite yummy! The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because unfortunately they were understaffed. But that could've very well been out of their control. The bartender had total control of the situation. He did an excellent job considering the short staffing issues. He told the people who came in that there would be a slight wait. They had great soul music on. Everything was clean and tidy. I would highly recommend.

Waited for 20 minutes to be seated with only 8 people in the entire restaurant. Was told the manager was to busy to come out and talk to us after we were told the kitchen was backed up. We were the only ones that hadn't been waited on or served. We asked for drinks and was told the bartender had to do his to go orders first. I understand short staffed but this is be far the most horrible Applebee's I have ever visited and will NEVER GO BACK!!! Worst experience ever!!! Waitress had no clue were was going on with their own tables or in general. Step up your game

What a mistake! Never got seated. Place was empty except a lady eating at the bar. One tabletop occupied. Saw one waiter. Saw 1 person shuffling their feet past the kitchen door which looked FILTHY! No hostess ever showed up. Waiten 10 minutes then fled! DO NOT GO HERE!

Best friend and I entered the restaurant. No greet or anything workers just walking by.We waited 10 minutes before we asked a waiter are you guys closed for the night or what because we are standing here looking slow. No response so we waited again we addressed the manager she goes to says she’s short staff still no it’ll be so many minutes or give us a minute or nothing. So finally we go seated after waiting for 20 minutes and oh never again.Thanks to our waiter the young man.

I wish that there was an option to give zero stars. My family and I visited this restaurant for $1 margaritas and were informed that we had to buy food in order to get the drinks. So that’s what we did. Then after we paid a waitress rudely insinuated that we were leaving without paying. That really did upset my whole family. We would never skip out on a check. We’ll never visit this location again. The drinks,food, and attitudes were disgusting!!! No one should ever be treated as rudely as we were.

🚨 Do Not Enter 🚨 Service is horrible!!! Food is Horrible!!! Environment is Horrible!!! MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE!!! Drinks came out wrong, some not at all. Food was served on a plate with ZERO effort (see picture). We got up to leave before our food came so we told the waitress. She got her manager and the manager just stood there and didn’t even acknowledge or apologize for the horrible service. It’s starts at the top and it shows.

I wish I could give 0 stars! The place was terrible. Waitress incompetent, manager even more incompetent. After 1.5 hours of waiting on food, I was done. Had five kids hungry, they brought French fries 30 mins late and four people had to share two bowls, no coleslaw, we ordered the all you can eat boneless wings and two orders of chip and dip for the appetizer. Well the dip came late, chips were drenching oil and were so gummy it was terrible. Asked for the manager she came over smelling like a 3 day old ashtray, we had watched her sit outside the window smoking since we had gotten there. Honestly, we though she was a homeless person. She did comp some of our bill, after she said she could charge me more because my son ate a couple of the only wings we got. Like I’m suppose to let my kids go hungry and eat in front of them? The waitress didn’t give us any silverware. Had to ask for it, then she says do you want napkins. I just kinda looked at her and shook my head really slow yes. She also walked by us multiple times without even acknowledging we had nothing to drink. This place is a joke. Service was so slow. Waitress said it was because they only had one cook. Manager to manager, you go and help where needed instead smoking. Employees are a reflection of their leader. You little lady should be ashamed. You all need fired.

We got take out from here 5 times since we moved to the area and every single time we had to wait an additional 20 - 30 minutes past the time the food supposed to be ready. And 4 out of the 5 times we had an issue with the order not being right. I am done with this place. Better off just going to McDonald's.

We were seated and no one spoke to us for about 20 minutes. Then took forever getting our food and drinks out. The restaurant is not clean at all and the wait staff is rude. I didn't feel like I was in an Applebee's. I understand good help is hard to find these days. But if this is the best you can do, just shut it down.

We had dinner at your restaurant in West Memphis location. No one greeted us when we entered the restaurant. Our waitress wasn’t friendly didn’t greet us asked for our drink order before we could even sit down. When she took order I asked for a half a cup of unsweetened tea because the sweet tea was too sweet . I had to ask for the unsweetened tea 3 times before I finally received it and then she brought me a glass over 3/4 full. My steak that was suppose to be medium rare was medium and our meal didn’t come out all at once and she never checked on us nor asked if our meal was cooked correctly. The most unfriendly waitress ever.

Not even worth one star to be honest. You have to wait forever to get seated, then the staff takes forever to make your drinks and food. I ordered a whiskey sour which turned out to be just sour, and a fiesta lime chicken and the food was horrible, my now wife ordered a perfect strawberry margarita but she got a regular margarita(just the mix)

arrived at 8:30, place was fairly busy but not too bad. ordered a beer and a glass of wine and some wings. got the wings, no beer or wine after 20 minutes or so. waitress - Simone - said bartender was doing something else in the back. finally bartender came out and said no red wine, no Sam Adams - my choice for beer. asked for something else and the beer came with a head about halfway down the glass. not too happy about bartender's effort

Restaurant was nearly empty. We should’ve left when it took so long for someone to take our drink order. After a long wait after 3 ordering apps, waiter comes back to say they’re out of one of them. Okay. After waiting some time longer, he comes back to say they’re out of the second one. Alright, we ordered entrees. After waiting again, “third” but only app comes with stale chips and watery queso. After waiting even more, 2/3 entrees come. We see the waiter walking around, doesn’t saying anything about the 3rd entree. After seeing him some more and the first two getting cold, we flag him down the ask about the 3rd entree. He says “it’s coming”. He comes right back with a cold burger that was missing toppings that were ordered. At this point, we were very frustrated with so much waiting so we didn’t say anything. The garlic bread for the Alfredo was hard and inedible. The grilled chicken breast was good though as was the bacon. We ask for the ticket, once brought he says he waived the 18% gratuity for our party (door says required for 5+ party. We had 3 adults, a five year old and an infant). We would’ve disputed that anyway due to service and technically only having 4 eating mouths but alright, thanks. He continues to stand there once he hands the ticket over as if he was going to watch me fill in the tip. I told him “it’ll be a minute”, he then walks away. 10/10 terrible. I get it’s a chain restaurant so standards shouldn’t be high but wow.

Went here for dinner last night and the ONLY bad thing was the wait time to be acknowledged, due to what appeared to be a staffing shortage from what we could see. That’s the only bad thing for us. We ordered our food to go, my fiancé had the 6 oz steak medium rare with broccoli and cheese and the Mac and cheese, he ate everything except the Mac and cheese, he said he didn’t like the way it taste, I’m not a cheese person so I wouldn’t know. I ordered the chicken Alfredo added shoring snd it’s was good. Our food was hot and stayed hot the entire time throughout dinner. We also enjoyed the side salads. I would like commend the ONLY two people who were working the floor as the restaurant got busier… what I would have like to see the management team come out and assist those two ladies who were by themselves. We may return to do dine in just to see the difference but the food was reasonable, cooked to order and the waitresses did an amazing job.

Went on Friday night, we were told to seat ourselves and someone would be with us. There were three other couples in the building. All had been served their food. We sat there for 30 minutes and no one came to the table. We stood to walk out and still no one acknowledged us. Never again. Staffing , service and atmosphere was awful. Never even got to the food. Will definitely NOT be recommending this establishment to anyone.

Waited for a while just to get food and when we got it, the steak was so thick it was still raw (ordered medium well). Service was okay but had to wait a while for refills. Kids food came out perfect but that was about it.

July 4th, my husband and I went to the Applebee's in West Memphis, Ar. When we went in there were one couple sitting at the table eating. We sit at the bar waiting on someone to come and acknowledge us. We sit there for 30 minutes and no one ever come out the back to take our order. We went there a year ago and the employees were just talking loud because they were short of help. They didn't try to seat us and we just left. The service is absolutely terrible. I refuse to go to that Applebee's again. They all should be fired!

Our waitress was amazing!! We got the Meal for 2 which is (2) entrees and a appetizer with a few sides, absolutely delicious for $22. Our waitress was so sweet, attentive and kind, she told us about the $6 Drink Menu & we were so grateful to have such an amazing waitress for our Easter Lunch. Cannot remember her name but she truly was great! All the staff welcomed us very warmly when we walked in.

I pulled in just before close hoping to get some food and ended up getting great food and more. Even though I arrived 30 minutes to close I still got Rockstar treatment. Bartender was great, pop in and see him soon he won't be in town long. He's definitely going places.

We had never eaten at an Applebee's before, my husband had always heard the ribs are delicious. We were passing through West Memphis around lunch time and decided to try it. He had the ribs and I had the chicken Alfredo with broccoli, Onion rings for appetizer. The onion rings were way overcooked very dark brown, the onions used to make them should have been thrown away, we couldn't bite through them , they were the very outside of the onion right under the skin when I cut one and pulled the onion out it was green like the outside of the onion. We cut them all in half with a steak knife and they were all that way! When our entrees finally came my husbands ribs we dried out tasted like they had been cooked awhile. My chicken breast was so dry I felt I couldn't chew it enough to swallow, the waitress brought me extra Alfredo to pour on it but it was congealed in the dish. The bread stick I got with my meal was so greasy I couldn't eat it. I will try Applebee's again (because we have always heard they have good food) but not in West Memphis AR! I think it will take at total overhaul of that place to begin to have a good thing! I feel like it's a shame for the owner to have that location for a very reputable restaurant and not be able to pull in the business from that interstate.

Very poor service. Stood and waited for a seat For awhile. Wasn’t even busy…. Ordered our drinks then food… we got our food before the drinks.. my husbands food came before mine. Mine took another 10 + mins to Arrive… husband ordered a sour whisky it was more sour then whisky. I ordered a perfect strawberry margarita…. It was just a regular margarita. I ordered the broccoli Alfredo it was gross. Husband ordered the spinach rice with the filet chicken thing. He said it was gross as well. No one came and checked on us. And after we finished eating we waited for we for our check… we spent $55 on a terrible service.

This is a tough review. Food was great, prepared well, tasty and hot. We've been twice this week because of that. The staff was courteous and made efforts to be accomadating BUT obviously stretched and over worked. There's just not enough staff. Each visit they were short and the place was moderately busy with dine-in and take-out orders. No host or hostess, no bartender, and the wait staff being stretched dampened the experience but YES, we'll return because delicious🍷 Dollaritas!!!

Wish they had a zero rating. The staff acted as if we were invisible. Seeing that it was a late hour and all other restaurants were closed we stayed. Epic mistake. We were served drinks without straws and had to wait another 10minutes to get them. The waitress seemed uninterested in taking our food order and then informed us that the chef had just quit. Needless to say they should not be open for public consumption.

Can honestly say this was the worst experience we’ve ever had. No one greeted us when we came in. We ordered a chicken sandwich with fries, a side salad and buffalo boneless wings. The waitress was extremely rude and informed us they might not have buffalo sauce. The buffalo wings came out first even though I ordered them as my dinner. Ten mins later my salad came out and the dressing was literally a frozen clump on top of the lettuce. Once it melted it wasn’t bad. The chicken sandwich was god awful. The chicken was so thin, fried and burnt it was basically like a potato chip. Literally just everything was awful and on top of that, the service was terrible. We were just passing through on our roadtrip so luckily we won’t be back.

We showed up very late, having been on the road all day. Late enough that the servers were all resting in a group in a booth at the back. Yet we were attended to quickly. My children were restless and crabby but every server that passed offered me words of encouragement and empathy. Many messes were made but the server came to the rescue quickly. Even when my middle child struggled to vocalize what she wanted to eat, the server stood patiently and never rushed us. Even when my oldest changed her drink choice too many times to count, our server brought every choice without a single frustrated look.

I have nothing nice to say about this place so I'm just going to not say anything at all

06/13/20222 5 of us walked in to this empty restaurant. Ordered 4 alcoholic beverages and a sweet tea. It took 30 minutes to get our drinks!!! The manager/bartender was in no hurry for ANYTHING!!!!! WE HAVE BEEN HERE FOR AN HOUR AND STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED OUR APPITIZERS!!! The service and whole restaurant is absurd!!!!!!

I had to go to the kitchen and ask if there was anybody working out front. Finally someone came out to take my order. Music was so loud couldn’t carry on a conversation. There was a waitress with something in her mouth, filled her mouth could hardly talk. Pushed it to the side when she talked, looked discussing. Owner and manager should be ashamed. Manager should be fired.
