Okay, so before I dive down deep into this review, I just want to let everyone know that if you’re driving out in Bartlett and your GPS is leading you to a church rather than an “actual” coffee shop, don’t panic! You’re at the right location. Second off, if you’re looking for a secluded, millennial style, 3rd wave coffee shop near Baptist Memorial Hospital to meet up with coworkers and friends, The Hub Coffeehouse is one of the best places to stop by in. Other than the place serves a variety of delicious, trendy coffees and teas (sometimes on Japanese style wooden trays), what I especially like about this place is that the bartenders are very friendly and helpful when it comes to making informed drink decisions. So if you’re not a coffee or tea expert, don’t panic! They know what it’s like to be the new kid on the block and as such would treat you with all of the kindness in the world, within reason, of course. That partially explains why they serve most if their drinks using Japanese style wooden trays. :D Not to mention that the place has some very awesome architecture. So if you’re looking for a trendy coffee shop that knows how to make and serve their drinks with style and in good taste, definitely stop by and give The Hub a chance. And no, they WON’T throw any religious beliefs down your throats. Promise! :)

Great coffee and tons of spots to study! And the staff was friendly and accommodating. I didn’t love my drink and they were very kind to switch it out to this lovely pumpkin spice latte. Definitely recommend!

Best coffee in Memphis. PERIOD. After doing extensive research on coffeeshops in the greater Memphis area, this place was bookmarked at the top of my list. And as you read my review, you will soon find out that they do things the right way. Located just off of I-240 and Poplar Ave., "The Hub Coffee" has been one of the coziest and structurally amazing places to grab a hot (or iced) cup of coffee, espresso drink, tea, or even a small bite to eat. I came here during the morning of Saturday, September 25th around 9:00am. At first glance, you would never think there would be a coffee shop here as it is tucked in the same building as Highpoint Church. Remember, this is the south where churches are prevalent everywhere. The hours of operation are 7am to 7pm Monday through Saturday while their business is closed on Sunday to focus on Highpoint Church Sunday Services (that are held at 9am & 11am). Parking is relatively easy to find and a bit of a walk to the front of the entrance. But once you step inside, you are greeted with one of the most spectacular and cozy interiors. The high ceilings, open layout, wood trim, progressive lighting, comfy seating areas, and beautiful artwork that reads "Love Works" adds to how impressively impeccable this place is. The square footage is utilized to the absolute full potential the open space concept is executed amazingly well here. After taking a glance at the menu prior to coming here, I ended up ordering a hot cup of their "Spanish Latte" priced at around $5. This is a latte that is infused with sweetened condensed milk to give this a truly sweet and savory taste to it. I also ordered a warm butter croissant to complete my light breakfast. Once my latte is ready, it has the perfect latte "art" scripted into the warm, frothy foam. The taste was perfect, hot, and very delicious. The croissant itself was baked from the "Dough Rye Mi" bakery, also based in Memphis. Overall, "The Hub Coffee" is one of the best and inviting coffee shops I've ever stepped foot it. It is a great place for studying (with the super-fast WiFi) or just conversing with your friends/colleagues. The employees all genuinely enjoyed being there while the entire business moves like a well-oiled machine. With the decent prices, delicious coffee, amazing ambiance, and above average level of customer service, I am giving "The Hub Coffee" a perfect five stars.

Very friendly baristas, and I love how spaced out, and the amount of, the seating areas are! Definitely a good place to study/work with some good drink options. I got a matcha latte with lavender sweetener, that was $5. I enjoyed!

It's a great place and one of the few non- Starbucks coffee shops in the area. Plenty of seating, great coffee, and wonderful staff.

We have been looking to support more small businesses and found The Hub. They have one of the BEST Chai Tea I have EVER had in life. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Small shop tucked in a church. I love it here and I highly recommend @the.hub.coffee.

This place is amazing! I come to hangout, meet up, and work remotely at The Hub. It has a large amount of sitting areas, a private room you can rent out, and merchandise you can buy. Great little snacks, food, drinks, and of course coffee! Service is fantastic and full of fun and kind interactions. Along with a great environment and even greater people. I’ve actually got to meet a range of interesting people and make friends as well.

Be going here for a couple weeks. Staff are always super nice. They are Knowledgeable of their work and are helpful with questions. The location is neat being at a church and there is a ton of great seating. I recommend the leather couches. Will continue to come here. Coffee is on point. The espresso is my go to. I believe they change monthly. Absolutely get the biscuit sandwiches. If you read this.. there is parking close. They look like disabled parking but some are and the rest are for the coffee shop parking.

They now serve Foster's coffee. Expertly dialed in. John Wayne (undertow) is excellent (a rare find on coffee shop menus, but a surefire way to know a choice house knows what they are doing- speaking of... They measured precisely for it). Latte is good. Homemade vanilla syrup. Vibes are awesome. Expertly decorated. Plenty of space to work, read, meet, and hang out. If I lived here I would be here regularly.

While watching the Memphis in May Triathlon, I had a few minutes to spare. Searched for a coffee shop nearby. The Hub was a wonderful find. Very nice setup inside a Church building.

A perfect spot for spending time with laptop, working or with a casual date. The place is spacious and looks like a hip, upscale cafe. We spent some time chatting here with some coffee. The staff is cool and welcoming. The coffee is fine, kinda mediocre, at least the mocha. They have some food options too I guess, which I didn’t taste. I might go back because the place looks so cool.

I was impressed with the size of the cafe. The coffee art was very good. The atmosphere was amazing. They carry my favorite energy drink Celsius and the lemon blueberry scone was yum. Then to find out they sell items from other local businesses was awesome to know how they help support others, including the nonprofit organizations that HALF their profits go to. The servers were a joy to talk to!

Better mocha than Starbucks. Pretty good oatmeal and sandwiches. As for the environment, its pretty comfortable. Some soft church recruitment ads, but nothing that'd be aggressive to the point of driving you away. Location is a bit out of the way, but a nice comfortable spot to hangout overall. The prices are about five bucks a drink, and the food is also reasonably priced.

Excellent. They serve coffee from a top roaster (Huck) and make well-crafted espresso drinks. Atmosphere is clean, spacious and family-friendly. Great for coffee meetups. Highly recommend. Note: It’s in the same building as a Christian church.

Lovely authentic chai, great service, cool vibes. If you want to get adventurous order a combo of the chai & turmeric lattes! Quite the experience!

I want to give The Hub 5 stars because my peppermint mocha was probably the best I have ever had and I loved the atmosphere but my wife and sister tried getting cold coffees and did not like them, at all, and they are not picky people. I tried their coffees and it was strange metallic tastes. I wanted them to get something else to have as nice of an experience as I did but they were kinda over it at that point. If I was reviewing just my own experience without knowing how their coffee was, I would for sure be giving The Hub 5 stars.

Ok, so the parking lot was full at Starbucks so I ventured out to something different. This place rocks! Plenty of room and plenty of vibe! Cappuccino was great! And….. plenty of parking!

This has official topped any coffee shop I have ever been to in Memphis! I can’t believe I didn’t know about it sooner. The atmosphere is amazing for a study and a cup of coffee! Definitely will be returning :)

I walked in and immediately loved the environment. It felt like Starbucks but A LOT less hectic. A great study or relaxing atmosphere. I asked what the batista recommended and she advised a Lavender Vanilla iced latte... not kidding when I say it is LITERALLY the best iced latte I've ever had!!

Nice and convenient to where we were staying. Located in the Common Church. Is indeed a busy HUB! Lots of people and great coffee. Only wish they had some sugar free options and a larger size cup. 😉

I have been to the Hub many times. Their coffee and tea drinks are all wonderful. The people who work there are kind. The atmosphere is reminiscent of coffee shops in NYC where i used to live. I highly recommend the fireside latte for the fall.

I personally didn't try anything from the menu. I was there for a church meeting. So I didn't rank the food. The only reason I gave the atmosphere 4 stars is because there was a lot of staring when we came in and got ready to leave like people felt uncomfortable by us being there. But I will say the young man that helped our group try to get connected was amazing. Thank you for everything.
