Last weekend(8/18/18) I ordered my Son a regular old grilled cheese(2 slices of bread and maybe 2 slices of cheese). The cashier rang me up $5.88!!!! I said: for a regular old grilled cheese? It says $3.50 on your menu board?? She glanced up and said: that’s probably one of the menu items we haven’t updated. I tried again: I see a grilled cheese with meat is $5.50(which I often get), maybe you rang me up for that? Nope, not the case; they literally are “banging you” for $5.88 on a basic grilled cheese!!! Now don’t get me wrong, ALL THE STAFF THERE ARE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL AND NICE!!! But the pricing dynamic is WAY THE HELL OFF!! Not just the grilled cheese situation but they have devil dogs on the counter(not labeled for individual sale) for like $2.00 each!!! All kinds of stuff. Often my whole family will have me order from there and I always wondered why the totals were never consistent even though I would buy the same things!!🤔🤔 So now they have definitely lost my business, my Son is almost 10 years old and he even said: Daddy there’s no way to justify spending that much money on a basic grilled cheese!! The 10 year old kid gets it, but I guess the store owners don’t!!!😱😱💸💸

everyone in this place seem to know everyone else which gave it a cool family feel like it's the go-to spot for people in West Milford. I was just passing through but I was very pleasantly surprised at how delicious the bagel sandwich was. They don't even call themselves a bagel place as much as a deli, but when you're inside it does feel more like a bagel place. The prices were about normal, not too expensive but not too cheap either.

Amazing deli/bagel shop. Owner mario is just an incredible guy and someone who actually cares about getting you a perfect meal. Lisa is amazing as well as everyone who works there! Keep up the great work guys!

Showed up at 2:12 and they told us they’re closing at 3:00 so they turned off all their slicers and can only make us chicken salad sandwiches.

I had the "Michaels Favorite" specialty sandwich today, and it was delicious. Their housemade macaroni and coleslaw salads were delicious too. Great place for lunch!

Hands down the best deli in the West Milford area. There is no other deli around that even comes close to the quality of the sandwiches that Mario's makes.

Unbelievable Sandwiches... and the Zeppoles! You know a deli sandwich is good when you can't finish a sandwich in one sitting. Have I mentioned how good their coffee is? I don't know if it's the beans, how fresh they keep it, or just the friendly staff smiling as they pour it; but Mario's coffee is definitely the tastiest in West Milford! Now let's talk breakfast sandwiches: Sausage, Bacon, SCRAMbled eggs & Cheese on a garlic bagel with salt, pepper and garlic!!! The heavens open up and drop salvation on my tongue with every bite. Located in the small town of west milford so there isn't much competition for the public's stomachs and I was only in the area for a thing for school; with that said my sandwich was very good. They used fresh ingredients and giant portions for a very reasonable price. If I was in the area and was looking a deli I would go there again.

I honestly hate giving a terrible review, but I was completely appauled when the employee that made my sandwich answered the dirty phone off the dirty counter (that people slide their money accross), proceeded to pick up a piece of bologna off the floor and then made my sandwich with the SAME GLOVES....I was absolutley appauled...really disgusting. The person I was with cancelled thier order. I should have done the same thing; instead an $8.00 sandwich went into the trash. I would not return there if they gave the food away!!!!!!!!!!

Still the one place around that you can get a decent egg sandwich and not get gouged.
