Wonderful food, good service. The place had a good vibe despite a few loud banking bros. The starters were phenomenal. Must try the Hiramasa.

Had a great experience here. The chicken under a brick was phenomenal. Definitely a sharing plate between 2-3 people, perhaps even 4 if you're light eaters. We started with the bread and butter. It was great. Loved the onion butter. The chicken under a brick was exceptionally excellent. Highly recommend. And we finished it off with the cookie and melted ice cream desert. It was the perfect amount of sweetness. Also best if shared between 2-4 people.

Another wonderful experience at Marc Forgione! I've been here a few times and always really enjoyed the entire experience. From the moment you walk in all the little details are thought of, the waitress even commented on our booking information which made it feel personal. Food was delicious! We had the rolls, lobster croquettes, roast potato ravioli, halibut, monkfish curry and 10 minute cookies. Also the margaritas were perfect. Thank you for everything, we look forward to returning.

There were some very good elements and some not so good elements. They start by bringing you two beautiful looking rolls. As soon as I picked it up it felt cold, broke it open and ice cold inside. They apologized and got two more but it was rather disappointing that they don’t even make sure they reheat the rolls properly. Shishito peppers were cooked perfectly but could have used a little salt. The wings were an elevated version and very good. The halibut was the best bite. Cooked perfectly. The steak was surprisingly bland. Overall atmosphere was very nice, rustic and cozy but food was not consistent.

We had our Anniversary dinner here and loved everything. We basically ordered everything on the menu cause it’s hard to choose. The chef and the bakery chef are talented and mastered the art of flavors. Plus, my husband and I love the letter from the Forge Fam. Thank you for this beautiful night.

From the time we walked in, we were greeted and treated with kindness. The food is always great in flavor and quality. The only thing was the olive torte was way too sweet. Try everything!

Food is very delicious. You can taste the high ingredients they use. They did a good job of getting the lamb smell out. The seasoning is on point. Customer service is probably the best in the city so far

Marc Forgione always delivers a memorable experience. We’ve been coming here for 8+ years and have never had a bad experience. Getting a res can be challenging, but it’s usually pretty easy to get seats at the bar and sometimes this ends up being even more fun! Menu items not to be missed are the Hiramasa (you’ll dream about this dish), Chili Lobster (ask for extra toast to scoop up all of the broth), and Chicken under a brick. This time around for mains, we opted to try something outside of the Chicken and went for the Duck and Oxtail pasta, both were delicious! We always enjoy our time at Forgione and look forward to the next one! **Final note: the bartender was truly fantastic and was killing it the whole night while making cocktails for the entire restaurant and servicing guests at the bar, truly impressive. Wish we got her name!!

The meal was whimsical, inventive, light, and delicious. We really enjoyed the combination of different flavors, temperatures and textures. The atmosphere was inviting, rustic with a nice mix of industrial touches. The attentiveness of the entire staff was appreciated and noted. We are looking forward to returning.

Great service, location, and taste. As you’d expect, the portions aren’t amazing but the flavors are unique and very memorable. The ravioli and lobster dish were amazing. The sizes of the dishes were a guessing game for me - lobster, ravioli, mussels were all relatively small and then the brick chicken was truly a dish to share (absolutely huge). The chicken itself isn’t special but i would still recommend it.

Great ambience!!! Great service!! Paid a pretty penny but worth every cents. Excellent date night spot. Food was fabulous. The chili lobster was out of this world. Steak was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. The 10 minute cookie made the evening that much sweeter. Definitely recommend

Romantic, cozy, and dimly lit Michelin starred restaurant in Tribeca that fires on all cylinders! From the ambiance to the suave service, from the starters to the dessert, everything was top notch! With a small seasonal menu, the chef doesn't fail to disappoint on any item. The ravioli were tasting many quality, savoring every bite. The duck with cherry sauce was among the best duck dishes we've had, and the chicken under a brick was 120% something to write home about. Absolutely elegant in its simplicity! I love to cook at home and it got me thinking how I could recreate something this amazing with beautiful ingredients! The "egg" dessert is a surprise, but it's like something out of a Netflix cooking show, spectacle and flavor in every bite!! Don't hesitate to splurge on an evening here!!

Visited this hidden gem in Tribeca for dinner during the week. Excellent food and service. All the dishes were great. I would come back again to try their pastas.

I don’t give 5 stars. This Tribeca mainstay is one I would recommend for any occasion, from the fanciest to an easy night out. The staff is friendly and professional with a sommelier who knows their wines and a customized menu by Marc Forgione himself. Over the many years of coming here, I have my faves which include the hiramasa, the lobster, the chicken, the proposal sauce and anything on that dessert menu. On this particular day, I had The Egg. Wow! Go!

Came here for dinner. I like the decorations and lighting. I ordered the Hiramasa tartare, and the famous chicken under a brick (in half size, for myself). I like the flavor for both dishes and my taste bud was activated joyfully. Will come back for more dishes.

Dining here was definitely the highlight of our weekend. Creative dishes with superb presentation, from decorative flourishes to distinctive plates, no aspect was neglected. The wines were excellent.

This place was my favorite restaurant I've been too in quite a long time. Food was great, service was great , and the place itself was awesome. Went for my birthday, each dish was good, and they had a really good drinks menu as well. Very very good bourbon options

If you are looking for a great place to enjoy amazing cocktails and brilliant food in New York City, look no further than Marc Forgione. The restaurant has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with dim lighting, rustic decor and friendly staff. The cocktails are creative and delicious, and the food is simply outstanding. We tried the chili lobster, the chicken under a brick, the halibut and the chocolate cake, and everything was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The whole experience was incredible, and we left feeling satisfied and happy. Highly recommended for a special occasion or a treat.

Hands down one of the best food experiences. Marc is a culinary artist. It’s a foodie haven! The service was great. I had the pasta with escargot (which don’t snub it by the name), the halibut, and the chicken. I had a few bites of the lobster dish and that was amazing too.

One of the best meals I've ever had in my life, absolutely incredible staff. The GM Andrea was an absolute delight and a pleasure to visit with. Our server Robert was incredibly outgoing, knowledgeable helpful, and hilarious. The chef, Connor and his sous chef Xavier gave me one of the best culinary experiences of my life and were a pleasure to chat with as well. I would highly recommend this to anyone in my life and will definitely be back.

Everything was fantastic, the service and food was top-notch and met our expectations given the reputation. We enjoyed watching Marc win Iron Chef years ago and inspired us to choose this restaurant, although we were in for only 2 days. The flavors in each dish were well blended and paired nicely together. The lobster was cooked absolutely perfect. Very nice experience all around.
