I
went
there
for
2
things
in
my
mind
(1)
Takoyaki
and
(2)
Tonkatsu
ramen.
Because
this
was
my
first
time,
I
ordered
takoyaki
first
to
see
if
it
was
okay.
They
are
not
Japanese
because
I
heard
they
spoke
Chinese
Mandarin,
but
it
should
not
be
a
significant
factor
I
thought.
As
for
the
takoyaki,
the
dough
was
a
bit
off.
Bonito's
flake
was
not
flaky
enough,
it
was
a
bit
chewy
because
it
was
sliced
too
thick.
However,
it
was
not
so
bad
that
would
stop
me
from
trying
the
ramen.
Then,
I
ordered
my
favorite,
Tonkotsu
ramen.
However,
it
was
not
at
all
what
I
expected.
The
soup
was
a
kind
of
soy
sauce
based
and
the
"Chashu"
was
not
"Japanese
Chashu"
(Japanese
Braised
Pork
Belly).
It
was
a
kind
of
protein
from
a
slow
cooking
process.
It
is
not
hard
to
visually
tell
whether
it
is
"Japanese
Chashu".
This
is
because
the
real
one
is
made
from
rolled-up
pork
belly;
so
you
can
see
the
spiral
when
it
was
horizontally
cut.
This
"Chashu"
was
the
fake
one.
The
soup
was
just
a
soy
sauce
base.
On
the
menu,
they
said
"Tonkotsu
Shouyu
Ramen".
Even
though
they
have
the
word
"Shouyu"
(Japanese
Soy
Sauce),
I
think
it
is
still
misleading.
My
suggestion,
in
the
end,
is
don't
hope
you
will
get
the
best
tonkatsu
ramen
and
Takoyaki
experience
from
this
place.
I
cannot
speak
of
other
menus,
but
I
lost
all
hope.
