Wonderful experience at this Macy's at palisades mall NY. The saleswoman in the store were wonderful and very helpful. Lots of great offers and sales in the store in the month of march. Last act and Backstage Deals are the best - must check them out. They carry all major designer brands and Great in-house collections of different brands which are way cheaper.

If you are looking to buy cosmetics, do yourself a favor and go to Ulta or Sephora over this location. A bunch of employees in the area were not doing anything, and when I asked for assistance to get one simple item that I already knew I wanted, I kept getting the run around and nobody would help. They seemed annoyed that I even wanted to buy something there. I won’t go back. It is not worth the energy or money to buy from a place that won’t give customers the time of day for a quick minute of help obtaining an item to purchase.

Macy's has gone downhill. The old Nanuet mall had a better Macy's with more high end goods back in the 1990s. The Macy's at the Palisades Mall used to be good when it first opened. The quality of goods has gone down a lot. I remember when they had beautiful Lenox china lining the walls and Waterford crystal on display... High end handbags and quality clothing. Now the whole section of kitchenware and china is an empty disaster. No nice wine glasses or very much in that section on the third floor. Plastic handbags rule the day with a cheesy selection of high end handbags. The customer service is horrible and lacking in help. The buyers for Macy's buy cheesy ugly things for clothing, handbags and shoes. The third floor is rather empty in spots and the whole idea of the Backstage area is gross with total junk. I long for the days when Macy's was high end. Now it's only one step above Targets. At least you can get dishware at Targets and the plastic handbags are a better buy.

There is plenty of parking right outside the Macy's entrance. The store is very large and it is clean and organized. Holiday sales are great.

Went to the backstage location and found a great deal on high-end brands. Check out went quick.

Really large department store. They have many departments. I saw a nude bird flying around the men's shoes department. They had pants on sale. Bathrooms are on the 3rd floor they are cleaned every 2hrs

Lack of selection in certain departments like kids shoes, bad costumer service. I love the backstage prices and selection.

Typical service for Macy's. Sales people were really helpful. Inventory was scattered and hard to find. It's recommended buying online for store pick up

***IF THERE WAS A ZERO I WOULD GIVE THEM A ZERO. I ORDERED THREE PAIRS OF SHOES, NEVER PICKED THEM UP. I PUT IN A DISPUTE ABOUT THE CHARGES AND THEY CLAIMED I RECEIVED THEM, NO PROOF OF SIGNATURE...BUYER BEWARE!!!!! I CALLED THE DISPUTE DEPARTMENT THEY SAID THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO. ONCE AGAIN....NO PROOF OF SIGNATURE PROVIDED*******THEY TOLD ME TO CONTACT THE STORE DIRECTLY.

Great store! Good quality clothing, shoes and accessories. You can actually find some GREAT bargains on their sale racks!

The Macy’s at Cross County Mall in Yonkers, NY is probably one of the largest and busiest stores! I love their shoe department, they have a wide selection to choose from. I do go there quite often, but I was there a few weeks before Christmas and I was still able to get help from the saleswoman. She found my size and in fact I bought two pair of Franco Sarto boots, one black and one brown. The line was very long, but they moved extremely quickly. I wish I could remember the sales woman’s name, it was a Saturday and I want to say it was about three weeks before Christmas. She was extremely helpful. !

The girl working at the Lady’s dress department is very unprofessional and rude! She has no manners and doesn’t treat customers with respect.

This is a review for the on line store. I ordered 2 jackets and was sent the wrong items in the wrong size. I spent an hour on the chat line finally asking a super to review and the chat line was disconnected before I had a decision from the supervisor. I had also tried calling and again I was cut off. Over Xmas I was also sent wrong items but the process was much easier. I am reluctant to do any more online shopping at Macys.

Went here yesterday (4/23/23) with my mom during our trip to the palisades mall to look for a dress for a summer wedding. We got there, actually found a close spot in front that lead us into The Macy's backstage area on the 3rd floor. We walked in and immediately headed to the dresses. I actually looked in the petite section, while my mom looked in the plus section. After looking, we headed into the fitting room, we tried on our dresses. Fitting room was clean, and there was no line. After trying on dresses, we looked some more, this time in the juniors department, and the petite dresses. Found some more cute dresses, and went into the fitting room again. The store got busier, and this time, there was a line. Some associate told us to go to the other fitting rooms on the other side of the store, this one had less of a line, and moved quickly. appreciate that the associate also helped us by showing us where the other fitting rooms were. We actually found the perfect dress that fit. Next we went to the cashier to pay for our items. There was only 1 cashier on at one point, but 1 more joined to help the line move quicker. First my mom paid for her items, which was a bra and her dress. She paid with her macy's credit card. I paid for my dress, which was at a discounted price because i used my macy's credit card, and they were having 30% most items. Store was pretty organized too. We also came back here after browsing the mall to look for shoes. i couldn't find anything, but my mom did. Shoe section was a bit more disorganized, mainly with shoes on the floor just laid there by the last customer who tried them on.. However, shortly after we noticed it, an associate came over and cleaned up the mess. My mom found a nice pair of shoes, and purchased them. We cashed out by the mens section on the 1st floor, and that cashier was very nice. My mom paid with her macy's credit card, and got a discount on her new shoes! Hopefully will be back if we ever need another new dress!

I purchased a suit from here and by the desk they forgot to take off the security tag. I only realized when I got home and I needed to drive back one hour in order for them to take it off It's pretty expensive. The fit isn't correct. Just horrible customer service

Attempt to purchase men's cologne on Saturday afternoon. I understand the theft concerns with the recent will of some people around the country to walk out of stores without paying for merchandise. I agree and encourage measures to be put in place to prevent such heartless dishonest acts. However, seems to me that a particular supervisor needs customer training so they keep loyal honest customers rather than profile them out of the store. One star for the twenty years of convenience I appreciated. Perhaps I should shop online.

The cashiers here are some of the slowest I've ever experienced, they stop and chat with each other in the middle of checking customers out while many others are waiting on line.

Looks nicer than it did a few years ago. Couldn’t find many registers open, the ones that were had insanely long lines. Clothing in ladies sportswear was a mess, got tired of looking through piles!

Dan from the furniture is downright unprofessional. He made it very clear that customer service is not his job, just collecting his commission on sales. He was extremely rude and condescending in conversation. He refused to offer any assistance on a sale that his co worker made the previous day. I am not surpised that stores like this are closing down by the minute. Federated department stores had professional standards for Macy's employees in the past. This gentlemans lack of professionalism fuels an alreasy diminished industry. Macys in West Nyack has a long way to go with the employees the hire and put on their selling floor. Do yourself a favor, dont waste your time here. This was and will be my familys last furniture purchase from here.

I was looking for dress pants and nice shoes to match, late evening and Macy's came through once again. They had my sizes in stock.

They put up SALE posters all over, showing 50% discount, after hiking the prices by more than double. U can get the same stuff in outlet malls much much cheaper. Don't fall for the name Macy's

Disgusting service I left my purchase by the refister I had the receipt I kept calling g for few days Noone picked up phone.i fi ally took off time of my bz life to go down and retrieve it But to no vail After standing g outside office for over half hour She came back with a negative answer They can't help me Guess what I dont need their favors So I lost 75$ and some time of my life Definitely won't shop there as I used to!!!! As a member and a good customer they should have helped me out and given me the purchase Horrible customer service

I wanted a pair of summer white jeans, to my delight Macy's was having sales in almost every Dept. 25% 40% and even 70%, it was great!!. I shopped a little more then I had originally planned,but with sales like these you almost have to.

Amazing that the employees work on commission but doesn't treat all customers the same. I choose to dress down when shopping and see how long it takes to get an employee attention besides securities.....

They have the worst customer service. The supervisor name if not mistaken. Victorina at the women’s section,3 floor she accusing me for stealing $10 that was her mistake. She missed counting the money and she had me waiting for an hour to check the cameras after checking she just decided to give me the $10. And she said with an attitude I will count the cash register. Later, when you leave, If it is missing that mean you took the money . so why she check the cameras for ?? she ruined my day and my holiday. Macy’s you have to hire someone professional, that respect customers.
