Went with my kids to the Treetop Adventure park and really enjoyed it. The admission was very reasonable and I think its a great park considering the drive/location. We did the adults course. The obstacles and stations were challenging enough and interesting for all ages. Extra kodus to the staff for being super supportive and kind to the kids on the course. My youngest son (9) had a couple of doubts and scared on the course but the kids talked and encouraged him to move a head and he was able to overcome his fears. Would give the place 5 stars if it had a couple more zip lines to do.

Just finished the Junior Course this morning and had an incredible time with the family! Check in was quick for us because we already made reservations and printed and completed the forms beforehand (apart for waiting for the large group in front of us who were completing forms on the spot - it would be nice to have 2 separate lines so that people who are ready can move along a little faster). The person who checked us in was super kind! We got there 15 minutes early for a 10am reservation, no one was taking temperatures when we got there but they were setting it up while we were in line. The young women who helped us with our harnesses and helmets were super kind and helpful and answered all of our questions. The course was great for my 6 year old niece - Garry was an amazing help! When he noticed she was struggling on the 2nd obstacle, he guided her through the rest of them with incredible patience. Instead of having her do the 2nd part of the course, which is way more difficult, we had the option of doing the 1st part over again, and my niece was able to do it with total independence (I could hear her using what she learned from Garry to coach herself through). My 12 year old sped through the course - she did this one when she was 7 and has since progressed to the adult course, so this was easy for her. Overall, we had a wonderful experience that lasted maybe an hour or so, which was ideal with a 6 year old. Very well organized, and the staff are professional, helpful, and super courteous.

The junior ropes course and zip line for ages 7+ was fun for our kids was really a fun time. Nice to have this great recreation center close by. Admission was very reasonable. Big kudos to the staff working at the juniors course as the child and mom in front of us froze up halfway. The staff patiently talked to the child while he was bawling, screaming, "I don't want to die" clenched onto a post. Eventually 2 staff members had to rescue him. Unfortunately, that meant our kids, myself and the rest of the group were stranded on hot sunny platforms midway for a solid 10 minutes. The safety harnesses are hooked up in series so you cannot pass or change the order of climbers. It was pretty evident the kid was not going to be able handle the jr. course based on how scared (crying) he was on the initial beginner's course. Entirely, the inconsiderate parent's fault. Possible tip: if the climber in front of you is crying before even starting ask to go ahead of them.

My husband and I had so much fun at this course! We easily did the course and we do not exercise on a normal basis! I was very worried about that before I went, but the harness is secure and I didn't feel like I was in danger in any way. I would strongly recommend buying sports gloves and good shoes prior to going though!

An awesome course that will leave you needing ice cream after. The course took us 2 hours because a mother and child were very nervous about completing each “challenge”. I’d assume it would normally take 60-90 minutes to complete the adult course. Tip: make sure you wear shoes with grips! My allbirds were a little slippery for this course.

Treetop Adventure Course is a really good idea, it develops your childs confidence and coordination in an exciting environment. The way the place has been built makes it super safe. If you have a fear of heights this is the place to get over it.

Happy to have something closer to NYC / Jersey city and don't have to drive an hour or two. Very well made course, but for the beginners it may take 2-3 hours to complete 2 courses and zip line. Courses are challenging and does give goose bumps, however felt very safe with the harness line. Wish Zip line could be more but overall nice to finish with that. Reasonably priced.

Junior course was definitely not "too baby" and was challenging enough, while also being fun for my brave 8 year old daughter. Staff is friendly, professional and safety oriented in their interactions. The harness was secure, while also being easy enough for the kids to operate on their own. My daughter has been dying to do this course for years and it definitely lived up to her expectations. The experience was totally safe, while still being challenging. We will definitely be back!

I went with my parents, and we had a sub-par experience. the first course took us an hour to get through because of a son & mother who cried and took forever the whole way there. we asked staff to come help so we could move faster but they refused. when my mom confronted the staff, he yelled at her! absolutely outrageous behavior. the second course was faster and much more enjoyable. My mother went to inform the staff manager of the behavior and they said they would talk to their staff, but we did not feel like they really cared about the problem. in addition, for the price we paid, it was not good service and we did not have as much fun as we expected. it would've been better with friendlier staff and free waters.

My older kids did the adult course, and my youngest did the juniors. My youngest needed some help, and the staff was very attentive and patient. The place is nice, it was just a little too hot and you have to be aware that due to covid you must wear masks, so don’t go in a super hot day. Bring water, the vending machines were off. Overall a great outing

This was such a fun and exciting experience! Scary? At some points. But would I do it again? Absolutely. I would highly recommend wearing gloves though! I wore a pair of fingerless gloves meant for color guard and they worked really well, but I would've almost preferred full fingered gloves. The heights didn't bother me at all, personally, but be cautious of that if you do have a fear of heights. I went with a group of my siblings and a couple of our friends and had an absolute blast. The rules are easy to remember and just make sure to wear comfy clothes (aka shorts that are long enough for the harness to not be on your skin). 10/10

This was terrifying and thrilling all at once! My 8 year old had no problem doing the adult course, however I was the complete opposite! Thank God for Rasheed! If it wasn’t for his patience and encouragement, literally doing the ENTIRE course with me, BACKWARDS no less so that he could guide me along with his full attention, I would never have gotten through it! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate him! He made the experience amazing!

Review from second visit: Five stars for Travis!! The staff is so friendly, Travis was great help along the course to help others and joined us at the zip line for guidance. The staff were all out making sure everyone at the course felt capable and comfortable to complete each task. Some staff members had speakers on their backpacks playing music, very cool. The only thing I didnt care for, It was very busy day, two female instructors tried to rush us through putting 3 of us on each post when we were instructed only 2 people can be there, we took our time to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. I brought friends along this time and we had a blast! I think I had more fun this time around than the last. Definitely make a reservation before going, as there is some disorangization at the check-in, walk up and info them you have a reservation. Review from first visit: Treetop adventures is a great time to test ones strength and fears. My fiance and I had a blast propelling among the trees and watching others overcome their fears as they scream through the air.

Underwhelmed for 3 reasons. 1. The wait is too long. We had reservation for 3PM and were there by 2:45 as the website suggested to be there 15-20 minute early. By the time we got on the rope course it was almost 3:30PM. 2. The course is one direction. If someone got stuck, everyone behind has to wait. There is no alternate route. In our case, a girl was stuck for 10 minutes and called for guide guide guide. But guides did not notice until someone else brought it to their attention. 3. Only one lap is allowed. Unlike many other rope courses that you can stay on until you choose to go down, this course allows you to go only one time. My daughter completed the junior course within 25 minutes, which took into account the 10 minutes waiting for the girl who stuck to be rescued. Otherwise it is just 15 minutes. Altogether, we spent 70 minutes at this place and 55 minutes were wasted in all sorts of wait. Not recommended.

If you're looking to do zip-line, Do Not go here. I should've read up on the details of the zip line activity here before going. However, it is only a single zip line that is about 100 feet or less in length. Even it its your first time, this is not worth it. More importantly, almost ever staff member we encountered, except for those who helped put on the harness, were extremely rude, non-professional, and just had no business working at this place. Everyone from the ticket booth to those guiding you/or not guiding you on where to go and what to do, to the people who are supposed to help you get on and off the zip line. These people were so rude, and if you ask them any question about how something works or what to do, they give you an attitude. One guy even said, you're asking too many question. Just go. I'll not be going to this place ever again.

We’ve been to a number of Treetop adventure courses and this is the worst one by far. For a single reason that the staff is unfriendly and borderline rude. It starts at the ticket office and ends when you are returning your equipment: no information about the courses, no encouragement or guidance for the kids (we were there with a 6 year old ) and no idea that your customers came here for the experience . Please work with your stuff on developing customer service to make your venue enjoyable.

It was very challenging but fun. The adult course Isn't sectioned off into beginner, intermediate or advanced. As you go through the course some are more difficult than others. Must have upper body strength & balance to do it I suggest you bring gloves too. And Turtle Back Zoo is right there too.

Be aware. We called this morning to book a reservation for 1pm. They said you could only do walk ups the day of. Reservations are made 24hrs ahead. But for today they have walk ups starting at 1pm. I asked the girl and was told it looked open at 1 we shouldn't have any issues getting on. So after a 40min car ride we arrive at the zoo. We purchase a zoo ticket so we can walk threw the zoo on the way to the ropes. We arrive at the ropes ticket window that is outside of the zoo entrance on the far parking lot. And we are told no walkups until 1. Ok fine we head back into the zoo. Have lunch. Note the bbq chicken pizza was so delish. Very suprised. Very few animals are out and 2 exhibits are closed. Sea lions and touch tanks. We did not see 1 bear not 1 lion. If you want to see giaraffs they were out penguin's and the small animal exhibits we ok. It's a hot day and there are tons of camp kids. I Have to say the campers were very well behaved. I felt badly for kids who didn't have money to buy water or drinks. Camp programs should have access to free water stations. Anyway back to the ropes. We arrive at 20 min to 1. On the web site it says to arrive 15mins early. So I fill out the forms and I along with 2 other families are told we can't pay for a 1pm slot until 1pm. We are told they take reservations first. One mom aksed how many people in each group. The staff replied they don't know. There were 5 younge adults behind a ticket window. Making us wait until 1pm exactly to by a ticket. Now this is where it gets very frustrating. I Purchased 2 tickets plus zipline and head up to the check in station. Put on gear and are then told there is a back up to expect delays. So I asked what does this mean. The response. A group of 70 campers is ahead of us. They are moving slowly on the course. Only 2 people are allowed on each platform. Basically it's bumper to bumper people. I was told the course takes 1 to 1.5hrs to move threw from start to finish. With the delay it's up to 2.5hrs on the course. And your basically waiting for the people ahead of you to move threw. Can you imagine 87 degrees in the sun for 2.5 hrs on a rope course. No bathrooms up there no water stations. This seems dangerous. So we left had to wait to get approved for a refund. I went to customer service to make them aware. The response we are sorry and they wanted to give my son a small stuffed animal. Lol he's 10yrs old he doesn't want a stuffed monkey. We didn't take the stuffed animal. I left my phone number if an administrator would like some feedback. This company has wasted my time. We would not have come out today and could have made a reservation another day knowing that large camp groups were on the schedule for today. You people just need to be honest. Have people go threw with a tracker so you get an idea on timing. If you know there is a back up tell people before they wait on line to purchase a ticket. If we were to go back. I would purchase a ticket first thing in the morning.

Good place, a lot of fun and medium level of challenge, perfect for a group of people with different levels of prep. The only negative is that most of the time you spend waiting on the platforms between courses. They let pretty small kits go on adult courses and the kids have a hard time crossing courses with wide steps or if the hand grips are too high and it ends up delaying the overall flow.

This adventure course was amazing. I'd do it once a month if it wasn't so expensive. Still it's definitely worth the money to at least do once. We did the adult course and it was challenging at times, but definitely doable. They say it takes about 1-1.5 hours but we did it in around 55 minutes. Definitely pay the extra few bucks to do the zip line as well.

We did Treetop adventure and Ziplining at Turtle back zoo and we liked it. It was easiest ( juniors) one that we chose but you actually need to be physically fit before trying this treetop obstacle course. The guides were young college/ highschool students and were amazing to begin with. They all four helped and guided us through whole path, told us techniques how to put steps over ropes and woodens blocks. Loved this brand new experience and highly recommend this one for families with kids 3/4 graders to teen agers. Very reasonable tickets as well. I especially want to thank all the guides staff members to make this experience awesome. I will highly recommend this well maintained, clean and bug free zone!

One of the best place to go if you love thrill. Scary but fun. There are two routes one is short and other is long and zip line ( extra charge) . Zip line is ok not the best . It takes more then 1.5 hrs to do if you are newbee like me .

Great place to spend time with family and friends. They have 2 level of difficulties. You need to accomplish first before moving on 2nd one. Not too hard. Enjoyed my time with my friends. Zip lining is $5 is you purchase it at window. However, zip lining is so small not worth it. Very useful to bring your own gloves. Also, it someone is slow in front of you. You will end up waiting for them.

Did the kids treetop course with my 10 year old son. He did much better than me (it's clearly designed for kids so the safety cable was always in my way). We had a lot of fun and also did the zip line. Well maintained and very friendly staff.

The place is cool. There is an older kids section and a younger kids section. While the younger kids section may have been more challenging for their age. There was a lot of staff to keep an eye on things as well. The older kids section is also pretty good. The service is ok. Just wish there was an expansion. Zipline was alwso pretty cool.

This might be good location if you have never done this before, but if you have, it's a bit too "on rails', literally. Instead of clipping and unclipping, you have a roller attached a single track, and you just move forward. As the roller can't be unclipped, you have to simply go in order, and wait for the person in front to go. As such, the path is quite easy to allow for everyone to complete it, and there's only really one path, so no challenging yourself with more difficult routes.

Obstacle courses, high and low, accommodated older and younger, more experienced and less experienced adventure seekers. Staff seemed experienced in suiting everyone with appropriate harnesses and helmets. The staff was placed strategically, sohey could help anyone needing assistance. A good time was had by all. I highly rate the Treetop Adventure Course as a fun and safe activity.

Covid guidelines were adhered too which was terrific . On the 1st course half way in my sugar dropped . Daniel the guide was fantastic . I wanted to complete the course and he stayed with me until the 1st part was complete . When I got back he had a gluten free granola bar waiting for me which was his snack ! He was very nice , caring and made sure I felt well enough to complete !! Thank you Daniel ! My boys and I had a great time !!!

(Translated by Google) This is not the best rope park on our way. Were with children 7-10-12-14 years old. The younger one was not allowed into the adult and the spike-bungee, I had to be content with the baby level. He is very childish and light for 7 years. As a result of tears and resentment. And no sympathy or encouragement from the staff. The elders hung for a long time. You can’t walk around the territory and watch the creeps. You can only be in the picnic area at the entrance, from where most of the route is not visible at all. The question is, in the absence of disposable comforters, I hope they handle helmets well. At the entrance, the obstacle park scheme would also not be placed so that you could evaluate your strength. Extremely grabs of medium difficulty! And why at 7 years old you can’t ride a zipline ?!

After discovering CBK Treetop Adventure was unexpectedly closed for the rest of the season, my 14 year old son and I decided to give the Essex County Treetop Adventure a try and although much smaller than CBK, the courses were still challenging and we had a blast! It was also real close to home and we stopped at Turtleback Zoo after we completed the course and zip line.
