What a beautiful palace and lawns. Exquisite scenery with great landscape. Quality of the build is out of this world. Amazing place to visit and spend time. Friendly and helpful staff. Very well maintained. The Gentleman who drove us on the buggy was great as he explained us the history so elegantly. He loved his job. 🙏

Absolutely stunning & colossal Palace. You can really see the vast divide between the classes here, with the opulent and lavish decor. Giant murals cover the walls and ceilings. Solid stone and ornate carved pillars. The grounds stretch out as far as you can see. You can pay £5 a head extra for guided tours of the top floor or basement both of which are out of bounds otherwise. We opted to do the basement tour to see how the staff coped with running a building this large, it was well worth it. Really interesting and an enthusiastic tour guide. On the grounds there is also the famous Harry Potter tree from 'The Order of the Phoenix'. There is an on-site miniature train, play parks, greenhouses, secret gardens and more. We did visit the stables café - unfortunately the drinks we had were expensive and not very nice. Cold hot chocolates and weak watery tea. I have got to say it was busy and all the staff were quite young. But otherwise a great day out.

It’s a wonderful place. The gardens alone are worth the trip. The main water features (man made lakes) are spectacular and peaceful. We went round the maze. It’s great fun. If you cross second bridge you have taken the long way. The top tip is take bus for 1/3 off and book online. The pass adds to your apple wallet and lasts a year. There are lots of good opportunities, expensive and there are cheaper in town. The privilege card gives a discount but you don’t get public transport or cycle discount.

A fantastic place to visit. The house is magnificent and the grounds are spectacular. The staff and volunteers are friendly and informative and there are also plenty of car parks. Would recommend anyone of all ages to visit. We went on the self-guided tour which took us through the magnificent state rooms. The rooms are extremely opulent and full of large tapestries and paintings. There’s grand fireplaces and currently displays of contemporary art. The entrance hall itself is a sight to behold.

Visiting Blenheim Palace was a great experience despite the rain. The palace itself is a masterpiece of ornate and historical architecture, with its grand interior and stunning gardens and lakes that surround it. One of the highlights of my visit was the dining room, which took my breath away. The opulent decor and attention to detail created a truly enchanting atmosphere. It was a delight to enjoy a meal in such a magnificent setting. Parking at Blenheim Palace was convenient, as there were ample parking spaces available on site. This made it easy to access the palace and explore its grounds without any hassle. I also had the chance to visit the gift shop, which offered a range of upmarket items at good prices. It was a pleasure to browse through the selection and find unique souvenirs to take home. Overall, my experience at Blenheim Palace was truly memorable. From the breathtaking interior and lovely gardens to the convenience of parking and the delightful dining options, it was a visit that exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend a visit to Blenheim Palace for anyone looking to immerse themselves in history, beauty, and a truly unforgettable experience.

This is really good if you're visiting Oxford. Portion out a day to visit and bring some food for a picnic. Really beautiful grounds and exhibit about Churchill. We arrived at around 1:30 so we didn't get to see much. Will have to come back one day.

Beautiful place to visit. The palace and special exhibits are interesting to explore. There is a lot to see! The grounds are gorgeous! You could easily spend an entire day just walking the grounds and looking at the gardens, fountains, and statues. Nice cafe options to eat lunch or grab a snack & drink. Fairly large gift shop with lots of goodies to take home. Wear comfortable shoes!

It feels like a different experience every time you go! Beautiful architecture, amazing gardens, beautiful lake side walks, hugely enjoyable park and maze (easy to get lost in - our 3 and 7 yr old love it) - plus there are lots of amazing events - the light show and jousting are great. I also did the triathlon there and it was absolutely epic (will certainly never forget it).

I love this expanse of tranquility, Capability Brown gardens, gorgeous stately home and lovely walks around the great lake. You can upgrade your day ticket to annual pass, there's lots of events throughout the year. Currently has a Winston Churchill exhibition which is fascinating. Restaurant is pricey with coffee and a cake costing around £9. Bring a picnic, ride the miniature train, see the walled gardens with butterfly House. Great for families with children of all ages, and even great for dogs

Beautiful stately home built in 1705 in extensive grounds. It's free to enter the park via one of the public footpath entrances but we'll worth the £32 adult entry fee in 2022 if you live close by as that gives you a years access to the Palace and formal gardens which changes with the seasons. Food outlets are good but a little expensive so a picnic is a good option. Worth visiting the walled garden with a kids playground, maze, butterfly House, allotment and pizzeria that does a nice gluten free base.

Awesome, awe inspiring, jaw dropping and edifying experience to the largest palace in England! Completely floored by the sheer size, extravagance and deep history that its grounds & building carry! Definitely worth coming back again and again because there are just so many different stories to listen to and learn from.

We booked for the light display, a cold November evening which made the show even more magical. Excellent value for money. Coincided with the Christmas Market so we were able look at the stalls at the end of the light display. Very well organised, helpful staff. Lots of toilets. Nice shop and cafe.

Blenheim palace remains one of my most favorite estates to visit - the grounds, gardens, and house itself are stunning. We have enjoyed bringing the kids - they particularly love the stables, where there is a bit more for them to do. We were most recently here for their Easter weekend - the crowds were immense but the estate is so large it was impressive on how much space we still had to ourselves.

As first-time visitors to Blenheim Palace, we found the Palace and grounds amazing. As we went on Easter Saturday the crowd was on the heavier side.. There were various activities for kids and parents other than the usual play area around the maze.. It has toy train and old aged electric vehicle for mobility support. Last train from palace is at 6pm and first train starts at 11am. The palace has waterfall at the end of the property. It's mesmerizing and amazing to see such a beautiful view.

What a amazing place to visit. Loved it. Building and grounds absolutely wonderful. Tickets are a bit expensive £35 but you get a pass for a whole year. All staff super friendly and helpful. Lots of activities for kids. There was a food festival when we visited the place which was a big bonus for us. Delicious food. Highly recommended to visit.

What a fantastic day we had. Beautiful walks around the lakes and grounds. Interesting trees.... one from Harry Potter. Gorgeous house with quite a bit to see and very helpful informative volunteers. The maze is a must, but make sure you leave yourself enough time! Fun train ride if your legs give up. Brilliant shop (not cheap) but some gorgeous things. I bought a note book and cushions. Cafe is good, nice coffee, tasty food, watch for the ducks stealing it though. Definitely returning on our yearly pass. I'd go every day if we lived close.

Beautiful 17th century palace with lavish grounds and gardens around. Great for a weekend retreat into the rich British history. Expensive tickets but definitely worth it. Beautiful view of the river from the garden and I would highly recommend the butterfly garden. Nice cafeteria with lovely staff and a wide range of cakes, pastries and drinks.

A wonderful historical palace and gardens built and enriched over time by the twelve Dukes of Marlborough. The house contains many sumptuously furnished and decorated rooms, and the public areas are set out to tell the stories of the various Dukes and their immediate families, friends, and relatives and to exhibit the treasures they collected over 300 years. You can explore the house at your own pace and, if you wish, you could easily spend many hours following the audio guide that is available. The state rooms and library are spectacular. Knowledgeable guides are on hand if you have any questions. The first Duke was John Churchill and the Churchill family (now Spencer-Churchill) still use Blenheim Palace as their home. A special exhibition covering the life of Winston Churchill, who was born at Blenheim, gives a great insight into the daily and personal life of the wartime leader and his marriage to Clementine. The Palace has extensive gardens both formal and informal. The garden landscape was enhanced under the guidance of Capability Brown and the large lake, which is a major feature of the current garden, was his conception. The gardens alone take several hours to visit and require a lot of walking so comfortable shoes are recommended. There are several places to eat and drink and the food is very good. Highly recommended.

Such a beautiful place to visit & we are now fortunate enough to be annual pass members for the price of a one day ticket! We always take the dog so sadly can’t look around the interior but thankfully the grounds are so extensive & pretty enough that it more than makes up for it! Also the spot where my husband proposed which makes it all the more special.

Visited blenheim Palace for my birthday in August. It was an amazing experience. We would highly recommend afternoon tea at clementines on the lawn if they have any availability. Also the guided buggy tour is also a must do, our tour guide was so knowledgeable and we seen certain things we wouldn't have done. Also the return pass for a year makes it even better.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Blenheim palace and its gardens, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The architecture of the palace itself was stunning, with ornate details and grandeur that truly took my breath away. The grounds had walking paths that were well-maintained and provided a peaceful, serene atmosphere for a leisurely stroll. I specially loved the path towards pump house. The lake-side walk is just amazing and shows the quintessential British countryside. It's a must-see for anyone interested in history, architecture, or simply seeking a peaceful day out.

The palace and the surrounding ground with a garden, lake, and a horse track are simply amazing. A piece of history very well preserved which is definitely worth visiting. The only downside may be the lack of proper food amenities nearby or within the premises, for those who travel from afar to visit the Palace.

100% worth a visit although I was not so keen on the inside of the palace - not much it's open to the public; the building itself is breathtaking. One could get lost on its beautiful grounds for days

Really good. Didn't seem too crowded as so much space to spread out in. A bit frustrating that you can't access more of the inside of the palace - quite restricted. The grounds are stunning. Be prepared for LOTS of walking! Catering is good albeit pricey but where isn't these days?

Always wanted to visit the Palace, finally got there. The Palace itself is stunning, with beautiful family portraits and furniture. The staff also were very friendly and knowledgeable. Obviously the connection with Winston Churchill is interesting plus seeing his personal items on show and the stories attached to them. The Palace grounds are beautiful especially the Rose garden which was in full bloom. There are various walks around the grounds all signposted. We now have an annual pass which we intend to take full advantage of.

The grounds were really great to walk around and explore. The actual main house was just stunning, the only one slight disappointment was the grand cascade not having any water running down it. Otherwise it was a great day out.

Lovely day out at the Blenheim palace. Beautiful gardens. The palace building is quite impressive but does not exude the same oomph as some of its peers in Waddesdon and a few others. The gardens behind the palace are a treat to the eyes, but the lake (that actually looks like a river) takes the cake. Great day for the family and if it's nice and sunny, then do enjoy an ice cream on the banks of the lake.

Beautiful baroque-style palace indeed! You don't necessarily have to get tickets to enjoy the palace gardens and to view most of the exterior of the palace. You will need tickets to walk around inside the palace, for easy access to the gorgeous Water Terraces and to enter the Walled Garden where you can have a go at the maze. Inside the palace 1 piano and two organs were playing for the visitors. My visit was very memorable. Great family outing!

The place is huge. I've seen many palaces... this is the Versailles of England. Interesting and good. Takes quote a bit of time to visit all. We were there for 4 hrs and it was rushed. There is he palace, the gardens... For me, oddly, the best was the Churchill exhibition in the Palace. I truly enjoyed it! The annoying part is that you get a ticket that is good for a year! Only option! For foreigners like myself, that can only be there for half day may be a bit steep but still fine overall, I think. Overall, if you are into palaces and gardens, it's a good place to see in England as a reference. I've seen better gardens in England, though.

So much to do and see! We had a great day out at Blenheim Palace. The walk around inside the palace was well laid out and full of interesting things to see. The grounds around the palace have plenty to do and walks to take. The butterfly house is well worth a visit. You can very easily convert your entrance to an annual pass at no extra cost.

What stunning grounds and Palace! Thankfully we had a cold but sunny morning to walk around and up to the Column of Victory. The Christmas theme in the Palace is Sleeping Beauty and it was quite beautiful, such a lot of work. Unfortunately due to charity changes, we were unable to access upstairs as there is no disabled access so no one is permitted until this access is organised. £33 is rather steep for the small area but we were able to visit the Churchill exhibition and Chapel, which is small but lovely. The illuminated walk is totally stunning and wonderful. Completely magical and glorious.

Brilliant day out, plenty to see and do for everyone. We paid extra £10 each and had tour of upstairs and downstairs which was very informative and quite personal as small groups. Didn't manage the long walk as ran out of time. Plenty of cafes to choose food from and cater for most diets. Altogether I thought it was a good for money day out ( x2 adults £90)

  • 5/5 karin l. 7 months ago on Google
Bit pricey but it is for the year, the gardens and house are stunning. Every time we go there’s something different to do, staff are very Friendly great for families, couples or even some alone time. Plenty of walks and the butterfly house is superb! Kids can run off their energy and adults catch up. Would advise not getting food in the cafes at peak times though or you might struggle for a seat.

Plenty of parking, wide open views, beautiful gardens. Terrific history that was shown through the art, furniture and architecture. Fun connection with Winston Churchill.

A lovely place to visit with the family. Extensive and beautifully kept gardens to wonder around. The house is wonderful and kept in amazing condition. Lots of explanations around and guides for you to ask any questions. The Churchill rooms are very interesting and informative too. If you buy one day entry it lasts for the year as well.

Absolutely humungous and gorgeous Baroque palace grounds being a feast for nature or architecture lovers. Definitely recommend a visit when you’re around, but be careful that parking is only for people who have purchased tickets for the palace grounds, otherwise you’ll have to pay on the spot.

I had a fantastic time at the Halloween trail. The decorations were absolutely amazing, creating a spooky and immersive atmosphere. The kids had a blast, and the street food was delicious. We'll definitely be coming back next year for another fun-filled experience!

Loved the Sleeping Beauty themed Christmas display. So well done. Very enjoyable. Don't be put off by it being a Disney theme. Men, women, and children will love it.

Visited Blenheim Palace in December with their Christmas theme of sleeping beauty in the Palace. This was such a magical experience for adults and children. You are taken into the story of the sleeping beauty story. Completely inspires your imagination and takes you through the storybook with magnificent displays. In the grounds of the palace, there are food stalls, children's activities, and a xmas market. Along with the magical light walk in the gardens, best seen at dusk.

  • 5/5 Lensereflection P. 4 months ago on Google
An amazing Christmas light show. The palace was decorated to perfection with the theme of sleeping beauty ,totally breathtaking. Also the orangery has been refurbished to an outstanding hall where we had afternoon tea. What a wonderful day we had At Blenheim palace.

The Christmas market at Blenheim Palace makes for a magical holiday outing. Alongside the stately palace itself, the grounds have been transformed into a winter wonderland. We discovered an exceptional variety of gift shops and food stalls lining the charming market square. The vendors offer everything from handcrafted goods to holiday decor and tasty treats. For families, rides and activities provide extra entertainment for little ones. The highlight was the stunning light display throughout the gardens after dark. The illuminations create a fairytale atmosphere. We also opted to take a tour inside the palace itself for a small additional charge - the perfect Christmastime backdrop! Blenheim makes accessing the event effortless with ample parking, but booking your space in advance is highly recommended to avoid any disappointment. This prevents having to hunt for spots on arrival. Overall, we couldn't recommend the Christmas market more highly for getting into the holiday spirit. With its picture-perfect setting, Blenheim Palace provides a magical place to shop and make festive memories. It's worth a visit this time of year or anytime to see the grounds.

Wow! Is there a 6 star option? My breath was taken away with each section we visited. You are allowed to take a picnic (you would want to!). Go see for yourself! The walled gardens is more for family entertainment - if you have limited time rather go see the other formal gardens.

Had a lovely day out, the weather could have been a bit kinder . The staff were very friendly and helpful. I recommend you do the buggy tour of the Gardens; Alan was very informative and jovial, it was a fun experience. The Palace was impressive and the guide you downloaded to your phone was very informative although some things were out of sync as they moved things around. The girls playing the harp and the harpsichord gave the tour an appropriate atmosphere. The Churchill exhibition was very interesting with some unique artifacts.

Amazing palace and incredible grounds with so many activities. Food was ok however the pizzeria was swarmed by wasps. The worst thing about our day was the fact that the train, up and downstairs of the palace, the play ground, water activities and so much more were at least and extra £3. This is a bit cheeky after paying £110 for family of 5. Still loved our day, easily a full day activity.

  • 5/5 Justyna W. 1 year ago on Google
Such a beautiful palace. They do student and blue light card discount. Once you buy a ticket you can exchange for annual pass. There is a few special events like jousting included in the pass. The palace is beautiful, such an interesting place to visit. The park and gardens are beautiful.

We allowed all day to visit but expected to leave before closing. This did not happen. There is so much to see we needed all 6 hours. Planning your route around the grounds is a good idea so you don't waste time. Allow time for visiting the palace it's full of information and artifacts.

Expansive and beautiful gardens, including flower patches filled with local honeybees. Our walk to the waterfall was relaxing and gave us views along the lake back towards the palace itself. Clean water, lots of lily pads and lotus flowers. The castle itself was incredibly impressive and if one is a Winston Churchill fan just a little more special. We did the downstairs tour. It was ok.

Was a lovely sunny day when I visited so was able to make the most of the beautiful grounds. The lake is being dredged but as it was the weekend no work was being carried out. There is useful and interesting information about the lake work and history. Stunning grounds!! Inside the Palace a little cramped with too many visitors at once but still able ro see and appreciate the opulence and history of the building and the people that lived there.
