I
really
wanted
to
have
a
good
experience
here.
I
booked
an
appt
back
in
April
as
this
was
to
be
a
Birthday/Mother's
Day
gift
for
me.
I
received
a
call
asking
to
re-schedule
because
of
a
doctor's
appt,
and
was
offered
to
come
in
either
on
Thursday
5/11
or
Friday
5/12.
Thursday
was
noted
as
not
having
a
haircut
window,
so
I
chose
Friday
5/12.
This
meant
rearranging
my
schedule
and
driving
my
son
to
and
from
Coconut
Creek
so
my
mother-in-law
could
watch
him.
On
the
way
up
from
dropping
him
off,
the
salon
called
saying
the
girl
who
was
supposed
to
cut
my
hair
had
left
early
and
that
someone
would
likely
be
able
to
fill
in.
They
also
asked
if
I
could
come
in
early,
so
I
headed
straight
there.
Upon
booking
the
appt,
a
$50
deposit
as
well
as
picture
references
were
requested,
including
what
my
hair
currently
looked
like.
I
sent
those
right
away
and
thought
there
was
an
understanding
as
to
what
I
was
hoping
to
achieve.
When
I
sat
in
Ashley's
chair,
we
discussed
what
we
would
be
doing
that
day,
and
that
it
wouldn't
be
as
light
as
I
was
hoping
for,
but
that
it
would
be
lighter.
When
the
color
was
finished,
it
wasn't.
Ashley
began
wrapping
up,
and
I
asked
about
the
cut
I
was
supposed
to
be
getting.
She
said
that
it
would
be
an
hour
and
a
half
before
Tracy,
the
owner,
could
cut
my
hair.
I
was
asked
how
I
style
my
hair,
to
which
I
replied
that
I
just
blow
dry
my
bangs
and
air
dry
everything
else.
Ashley
proceeded
to
blow
dry
my
bangs
and
some
front
pieces
saying
that
she
wanted
to
see
the
color.
My
eyes
started
to
water
at
the
sight
of
how
dark
my
hair
was,
and
w/the
disappointment
of
not
being
able
to
get
the
cut
I
had
moved
my
schedule
around
for,
I
was
ready
to
leave.
I
paid
at
the
front
desk
in
the
amount
of
$485,
and
the
$50
deposit
was
credited
towards
my
services.
The
receipt
was
emailed
to
me,
and
I
tipped
Ashley
an
additional
$70
because
even
though
I
was
unhappy,
I
still
appreciated
her
time
and
effort.
After
I
got
home,
I
checked
the
receipt
and
saw
that
I
had
been
charged
$65
for
a
full
blow
dry,
even
though
when
I
left
the
salon,
the
back
of
my
hair
was
still
wet.
I
also
conferred
w/friends
and
family
who
were
shocked
to
learn
that
I
had
spent
so
much
with
no
visible
results,
and
they
encouraged
me
to
reach
out.
The
next
morning
I
messaged
the
salon
explaining
my
concerns.
When
they
replied,
a
credit
for
the
blow-dry
was
issued,
and
they
said
Tracy
would
be
available
to
speak
if
I
wanted
to
at
the
end
of
the
day.
I
said
I
would
like
that
call,
and
waited.
At
6:41pm,
my
phone
rang.
Tracy
did
seem
sympathetic
about
certain
instances,
but
overall
was
reluctant
to
admit
to
any
mishandling
on
their
end.
She
questioned
my
tenure
and
knowledge
about
the
matter
as
it
had
been
established
while
chatting
that
I'm
a
licensed
cosmetologist
and
have
worked
in
this
field,
and
attempted
to
use
that
to
garner
understanding
about
why
I
didn't
get
what
I
was
hoping
to
achieve.
This
didn't
negate
the
other
factors
that
had
made
for
a
poor
experience.
She
eventually
offered
to
have
me
come
in
as
a
hair
model
which
meant
having
my
hair
cut
for
free
in
front
of
a
class,
and
made
sure
to
mention
she
normally
charges
$130
for
a
cut.
I
said
I
was
aware
of
the
cost
of
their
services
when
I
booked
the
appt
and
would
have
been
happy
to
pay
had
the
service
been
rendered.
I
appreciated
the
offer,
but
was,
and
am
no
longer
interested
in
returning
to
the
salon.
She
then
decided
to
refund
the
Repair
Mask
that
had
been
applied
in
the
amount
of
$40.
I
had
actually
just
purchased
the
same
product
for
myself
per
Ashley's
recommendation,
and
the
50
ml
bottle
was
$40,
so
I
was
happy
to
accept
this
modest
offering.
The
conversation
ended
with
that
being
all
that
was
given
in
an
attempt
to
remedy
the
situation,
and
I
didn't
feel
that
balanced
out
the
level
of
disappointment
and
dissatisfaction
I
experienced.
Going
forward,
I
will
be
much
more
cautious
if
I
decide
to
venture
elsewhere
to
have
my
hair
done,
and
based
on
this
encounter,
would
not
recommend
this
salon.
