I've been here a few times for home furniture. Great place, lovely design ideas for rooms and decent way to buy what you need. The food at the restaurant but is basic but good enough for a furniture store! No doubt will be back here again for more odd bits.

This branch of IKEA seems to be very well laid out. The warehouse area has a low ceiling which makes it feel less like a warehouse. The checkouts are well organised and the staff are helpfull. Parking is also good although the traffic in the immediate vicinity can get quite bad. Recommended.

Massive store with a wide variety of selections and items for your home and day to day usage stuff This store seems to be the biggest compare to similar ones in London (much bigger than the one in Greenwich). There's a lot to see and choose when going to IKEA but keep in mind your legs will be aching if you don't take regular breaks. We went around 3 and left around 7 and we tried to rush it, overall really good store.

Big carpark but even that is crowded on Sundays. If you go during the week it's almost empty. Big store with plenty of products, you'll find something for ypurself. Quality of the products is not the best but that's every ikea problem. Nice and helpfull staff work there. I enjoyed my visit

Always plenty of parking, really convenient location as close to lakeside shopping centre & has everything you need. Pretty easy to navigate around, presented well, always has what I'm looking for, love the selection of plants too which is one of the main things I come here for as so reasonably priced and great quality plants.

Cheap but serves a purpose. Ignore me from 6 years ago. A great place to spend a day, don't bother trying to go anywhere else, there's no point, you won't have any time left.

Spent 5oo pounds for a wardrobe that turned out to be dented. Customer service offered me only 10 % compensation of the original price of the door only! Not the whole wardrobe. Just horrible and gready. I advise to buy your furniture somewhere else where customer service can be more supportive.

Although Ikea seems to promote a sustainable lifestyle, veganism should play a huge part in that lifestyle. For obvious reasons. However, there were very few vegan options here on the day we visited. Plant balls and chips, no peas or baked beans. Dessert options zero. According to the digital menu, there were two desserts that were vegan, but these were not available. Disabled parking available. Electric car charging points. Toilet facilities are ok, but not cleaned to a high standard. Tables for packing glassware seemed to have disappeared.

Ikea visits are so long that you do need to have a break in between and definitely the cafe serves this purpose very well. Food is very reasonably priced and freshly prepared at site however does not have any choice for Halal food except fish.

I’ve always had an amazing experience with IKEA, however and while I understand that some things take time to resolve in this climate, but yesterday we spend a record 8 hours in store trying to purchase a £1700 wardrobe system. During the process having to consider ordering items 4 miles down the road to where we actually live to ensure a delivery, or face up to two years wait to get items to our home address. To only in the end discover that we could have it al, delivered to our home address in the end anyway. This confusing fiasco was not helped by the fact that the only person working the department a guy called Marc, was in a stack of waiting customers. Having spent 2 hours in the department finding out we could not have items, we rejigged the whole order to send to the in-laws address. Then when we placed the order, handled by the efficient William, we discovered we could have the entire delivery to our home address. We wasted over 4 hours in store on a foolish errand to order a wardrobe only to discover we wasted out time. Special commendation to not just William but to two ladies on the delivery counter who went above or beyond to help us. All other aspects of the store were as always great, well stocked, well priced and with exceptional service levels. I must add I have no anger at Marc who was being super helpful to other customers (one couple took two hours of his time) but where were the other staff to help in a quite difficult area of the store. There were as ever staff everywhere, but the wardrobe department for that shift pretty much consisted of Marc and another lady called Maddie I believe who was either not bothered or could not help with our queries. I seriously think this store could do better right now.

Very busy for a Sunday but some amazing deal were had. Tills were manic but still got out quickly. The only bug bear was the restaurant. Well and truly packed and out of most items. Queued for 30 minutes to find no chips, no pasta and the food we finally received was not really worth the £35 i paid for 2 adults and 2 children. Definitely won’t be going there again unfortunately as there was no floor supervisor to discuss the issues with.

IKEA never disappoints! We had an excellent meal in the restaurant (gotta have meatballs) and then a leisurely walk through the various showrooms. Came home with everything we wanted, and I’m about to order a chair online!

This place is like another world, you can be in there for hours without even realising it. You’ll be able to find pretty much anything you’ll ever need here. Large free car park, huge cafe / restaurant, toilets etc. would definitely recommend a visit.

Great IKEA with loads of stock. FYI - click & collect is separate to the main building. You check in on your phone, then park your car in the click & collect bays and the items will be brought out to you.

Slow service in IKEA, in the restaurant there were no salads, cold fish dishes or cakes on my side. So I had to walk against the flow of people on the other side to get cake with my tray of meatballs in hand. Do you fancy a muffin? That was our side's only option (see photos). The last time I was here I asked a manager why the till queues were so long and they said "I work with the budget I'm given".... What is the sound of one hand clapping?

Who doesn’t love IKEA? Honestly I can spend whole day here. Lakeside IKEA is massive with very large free car park with electrical charging ports and disabled access. Well presented and very helpful and friendly staffs. They have a kids play area as well. Toilet always tidy and clean. The food in cafe is very tasty and service was quick.

I particularly like the way the store is set out, so you follow a path through the different sections. This way you see everything and can't get lost! The room layouts are very nicely done and allow you to see what a piece of furniture looks like in place. I was impressed with the slight seconds area where you can buy things at a greatly reduced cost. We bought some great plates and all that was wrong was a slight cracking of the glazing on the back....they were so cheap! The highlight though was the restaurant, absolutely first class and so cheap, we will definitely eat there again when we visit and are planning to go back soon.

One of the better stores, parking is a little tight, good selection and stock availability. They have have around 100 disabled bays 80 of which are normally empty but parent and child bays are jam packed which is a pain when dealing with pushchairs and large furniture.
